Naidu’s promise to repeal Land Titling Act soon after coming to power

If the Land Titling Act comes into force the people have no security on their lands, TDP supremo and former chief minister, Nara Chandrababu Naidu, said here on Tuesday and promised to rescind the legislation immediately after the TDP allied National Democratic Alliance (NDA) comes to power in the State in these elections.

Addressing a largely attended public meeting at Pathapatnam of Srikakulam district during his Praja Galam, Chandrababu Naidu also promised to complete the remaining works of the Polavaram project with the cooperation of the Centre. The TDP supremo assured the government employees of setting up a better Pay Revision Commission (PRC) and clearing all the pending dues to them.

Observing that the middle-class and lower middle-class people are suffering a lot from the rising prices of all commodities, the TDP national president also promised to control the prices of all products immediately after coming back to power. Chandrababu Naidu said that the Integrated Tribal Development Agency (ITDA) will be strengthened to get better benefits and facilities for all the Girijans in the State.

The TDP supremo made an appeal to the youth to carry the flags of all the three partners of the NDA to bring awareness among the people on the need to support the alliance, Chandrababu also promised to come to the rescue of the Vamsadhara displaced. “You all got carried away by the false promises made by the YSRCP leaders, including its president, Jagan Mohan Reddy, in the last elections and voted for that party. But Jagan, after becoming the Chief Minister, without utilising the opportunity given to him destroyed the State,” Chandrababu remarked.

Jagan laid the foundation for the devastation with the demolition of the Praja Vedika and even ruined Amaravathi besides causing huge damage to Polavaram, he remarked. Regretting that Jagan and co is ruling the roost only to loot the State with sand, land, liquor and mining mafia, Chandrababu said that the living standards of all sections of people have come down drastically.

Chandrababu clarified that the alliance of the three parties is only for the welfare and benefit of the State and termed the Jana Sena chief, Pawan Kalyan, as a real hero even in real life. He is confident that the BJP is coming back to power at the Centre and made it clear that the alliance is for the benefit of employment for the youth, for security of women and for the welfare of the farming community.

Majority of the daily-wage labourers are from Srikakulam district, he said and stated that Srikakulam Colonies are existing even in cities like Hyderabad, New Delhi and Vijayawada. “The immediate need is to provide employment in the district to check these migrations. If proper education is provided to the youth this is possible and they will get employment in this area itself,” he said.

Maintaining that the suicides of farmers are raising alarmingly in the past three to four years, Chandrababu said this is because the farming sector is hit hard in the YSRCP rule. “Immediately after we come to power Minimum Support Price (MSP) will be provided for all the farm products and crop insurance will be implemented,” he stated.

Jagan, who promised to bring down the power charges before coming to power, has revised the tariff at least nine times in these five years, he said and added that the monthly power bill which was just Rs 200 earlier has now gone upto Rs 1,000 per month. “During the TDP regime I have never revised the power tariff and in fact, brought in solar power reforms with which the farmers got some revenue with these reforms,” Chandrababu said.

The TDP supremo asked the people whether Jagan has issued a job calendar and announced Mega DSC as promised and said that the youth did not get even a single person got a job in these five years. If youth want jobs Babu should be back in power and if people want ganja Jagan should come back, he said and promised to increase the monthly remuneration to the volunteers to Rs 10,000.

Assuring women that he will stand by them, Chandrababu felt that the Super-Six will totally transform the living standards of women. He also promised to increase the monthly pension to Rs 4,000 to all the beneficiaries which will be implemented from April this year itself. Jagan should stop this politics and distribute the pension at the doorstep of the beneficiaries, Chandrababu Naidu said.

The TDP supremo made an appeal to the people to elect Ram Mohan Naidu to the Lok Sabha from here and Govinda Rao to the Assembly and promised to complete all the pending projects in the area immediately after coming to power.

Jagan is known for arrogance, destruction and looting, says Naidu

Chief Minister, Jagan Mohan Reddy, is popularly known for arrogance, destruction and looting, said TDP supremo and former chief minister, Chandrababu Naidu, on Monday.

Chandrababu Naidu told a massive public gathering during Praja Galam at Jaggampeta in Kakinada district that the advisor to the Government, Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy, does not have the stature to criticise a tall personality like the Mega Star, Chiranjeevi. These YSRCP leaders are stooping so low by resorting to personal attacks on leaders of rival parties, Mr Chandrababu remarked.

Calling upon the people to get ready and come together to kick out this dacoit, Jagan, the TDP supremo said that the sole life ambition of Jagan is destruction and looting. Condemning the ongoing atrocities in the State, a woman by name Lakshmi, from the State has cut her thumb in New Delhi, Chandrababu pointed out.

The TDP supremo told the massive gathering that the State has the future only if the National democratic Alliance (NDA) comes to power in the State. Asking the women whether they are ready to face the war, Chandrababu said that the NDA candidate, Uday Srinivas, has created 20,000 jobs with Tea Time while Mr Nehru who is also in the race has been with them for the past 40 years.

Stating that the elections are only nominal since the future has been decided by the people to elect the NDA to power both at the Centre and in the State, the TDP national president felt that the change among the people is clearly visible and this will turn into a wave in which the YSRCP will be washed out.

The people have the weapon to hit hard the ego of the YSRCP leaders, he said, adding that these ruling party leaders are using highly objectionable language against Jana Sena chief, Pawan Kalyan, which the respected society feels shameful. Like the YSRCPleaders, either the TDP or any other party leaders never spoke about the family members of any leader on the floor of the Assembly, he pointed out.

Regretting that all the systems in the State have collapsed, Chandrababu said that he too is a victim in the hands of Jagan. “If you want jobs to the youth in the State the NDA should come to power and I am promising you all that 20 lakh jobs will be created in the coming five years by inviting industries to the State,” Chandrababu Naidu told the meeting with an appeal to elect the NDA candidates in these elections.

Unable to explain what he has done for State Jagan playing dramas, says Naidu

0

Unable to explain to the people what he has done for the State, Chief Minister, Jagan Mohan Reddy, has raised curtains to play dramas and the people are simply detesting these dramas, observed the TDP supremo and former chief minister, Nara Chandrabbau Naidu, here on Sunday.

Addressing the party candidates for the Lok Sabha and the Assembly after handing over the B-forms to them at his Undavalli residence, Chandrababu Naidu told them that the people are simply feeling averse of Jagan as the pension conspiracies and the stone-pelting dramas have miserably failed. “We are fighting with devils and demons and you al should move ahead with a determination,” Chandrababu told the party leaders who are in the race.

With a fond hope that all those who have received the B-forms should win the poll, Chandrababu told the candidates that they have only 20 days time left for campaigning which is very crucial. People should emerge victorious and the State should move ahead in a prosperous way should be the slogan of the party candidates, he said.

Chandrababu told the party candidates that there should be coordination among the leaders of all the three alliance partners, the TDP, the Jana Sena and the BJP. The transfer of vote is possible only if there is coordination among the leaders and activists of all the three alliance partners, he added.

The resounding response to the Praja Garjana from the people reflects the fact that the downfall of Jagan has begun, Chandrababu told the party candidates and said that those who are now in the race from the TDP are selected based on the preference of the people and the party activists. The TDP supremo felt that these elections are being held under special circumstances and ultimately the people should win the race.

Observing that Jagan is making every effort to win the polls by getting the sympathy of the people, Chandrababu said that Jagan is a master in uttering blatant lies. The CBI has proved that Jagan had minted a whopping Rs 43,000 cr in an illegal manner when his father, the late Dr YS Rajasekhara Reddy, was in power, without making any effort to focus on this he is now campaigning that illegal cases are registered against him, Chandrababu said.

“The YSRCP leaders have deliberately disconnected the power supply when a small stone was pelted at Jagan, but now these leaders are resorting to a false campaign that I am responsible for this. Within minutes of the incident having taken place, dharnas were organised carrying placards,” the TDP supremo said. Now, again these YSRCP leaders are hatching a conspiracy to involve the TDP candidate from Vijayawada (Central), Bonda Umamaheswara Rao, he added.

As there were no funds for the distribution of pensions, these YSRCP leaders again resorting to mispropaganda that pensions were stopped as volunteers have been asked not to distribute them, Chandrababu said. Since all the sections of people are strongly opposing Jagan, the alliance candidates and leaders should inform the people that good days are ahead for the State, Chandrababu Naidu told the candidates after handing over the B-forms and administering a pledge to them.

Naidu gives B-forms to TDP MP, MLA contestants

0

Handing over the B-forms to the TDP contesting candidates for the Lok Sabha and the State Assembly at his residence in Undavalli in Amaravathi on Sunday, TDP president, Nara Chandrababu Naidu, directed the party candidates to always abide by the party’s policies.

Chandrababu administered a pledge to all those party candidates who are in the race for the Lok Sabha and the Assembly in the State. He asked them to strictly follow the party’s policies and decisions besides work for the welfare of the people by remaining loyal to the party. Naidu promises free travel by RTC buses for women

Expressing profound satisfaction for celebrating his birthday amidst sisters, TDP president and former chief minister, Chandrababu Naidu, on Saturday said that the TDP is the home for all women siblings in the State.

In an interaction with women on the occasion of his birthday on Saturday, Chandrababu Naidu fondly recalled that it was the TDP founder, the late NT Rama Rao, who gave a call that every woman in the State should be given proper education. Pointing out that a woman is now holding the Finance portfolio in the Union Cabinet, Chandrababu Naidu said that woman is the finance minister of every household.

Stating that he does not like to celebrate his birthdays, the TDP supremo made an appeal to women to elect Vara Prasad to the Lok Sabha from Tirupati and Sunil to the Assembly from Gudur. Making it clear that he always spends his time for the uplift of the poor and the Telugu community, he felt that women are capable of holding the commanding positions in the world if they are educated properly.

Regretting that many of the local leaders are only aimed at looting the silicon reserves here and making money by selling the sand reserves too from the Swarnamukhi river, Chandrababu Naidu said that his idea, however, is to set up industries in this area to provide a good future for the youth. This Government has turned into a sand mafia looting all the reserves here, he said that his dream is making the Telugu community as number one in the world.

The whole State has been witnessing some kind of scsam or the other for the past five years, Chandrababu Naidu said and felt that if the YSRCP is again in power the people should live like slaves. “My wish is to make the State zero-poverty and I am giving my word to you all on the occasion of my birthday that I will make it a reality,” he stated.

Women have a lot of awareness on every aspect, he said, adding that Padmavathi University was established by the late NT Rama Rao only with the sole intention that women should get proper and quality education. This apart, NTR also provided equal right for women in ancestral property, Chandrababu Naidu said and informed the women that his intention is to provide 33 per cent reservation for women in legislative bodies.

Dwcra groups were set up by him for the self-respect of women, he said and pointed out that Rs 10,000 each has been extended as financial assistance for women under Pasupu Kumkuma scheme besides providing interest-free loans to them. Recalling how women suffered when there were no toilets in their houses, he said he has thus introduced the Atma Gouravam (self-respect) scheme through which toilets were built exclusively for women.

Predicting that the one-nation-one-election system will come into effect in 2029 wherein combined polls will be conducted both for the Lok Sabha and the Assembly simultaneously, Chandrababu Naidu said that reservations will be implemented for women too then. Only NDA will be implementing this, he said and stated that the TDP will take the responsibility to transform women as the most powerful section in the country through ‘Maha Sakthi’ scheme.

Chief Minister, Jagan Mohan Reddy, has deceived all sections of society in the State, Chandrababu Naidu said and asked what happened to the Mega DSC and job calendar. Promising payment of Rs 4,000 pension for all the eligible beneficiaries on 1st of every month, he said that the amount will be delivered at their doorstep. Jagan has been claiming that women protection is ensured through Disa Act, Nara Chandrababu Naidu revealed that there is no such legislation in existence in the State. He made an appeal to all women in the State to elect the NDA candidates in these elections.

TDP complains to poll panel against State police

0

Making an appeal to the Election Commission of India (ECI) to depute special observers for overseeing the arrangements for the ongoing election in the State, TDP general secretary and politburo member, Varla Ramaiah, on Saturday requested the poll panel to obtain independent reports from them.

In a letter addressed to the Chief Electoral Officer (CEO, with copy to the district Collector who is the District Election Officer, Ramaiah said that it is really disturbing that during this crucial time of elections instead of the ECI it is the ruling YSRCP that is running the police administration in the State, for its electoral prospects, targeting the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) partners. The Vijayawada Police Commissioner is using the police machinery to harass the political opponents of the YSRCP, the TDP politburo member mentioned in the letter.

The Police Commissioner is making every attempt to illegally arrest the TDP candidate from Vijayawada (Central) Assembly segment, Bonda Umamaheswara Rao, implicating him in false cases, Ramaiah said. Mentioning about the incident that took place on April 13, Ramaiah said that Chief Minister, Jagan Mohan Reddy, participated in a road show on that day in the busy streets of Vijayawada city violating the Model Code of Conduct putting the citizens to great hardship.

At teh fag-end of this programme, at a pre-destined junction the power supply was disconnected and the security personnel were asked to sit down. Then a small stone was hurled at the Chief Minister causing a small injury as certified by the doctors, Ramaiah said in the letter.

Under this pretext, the Vijayawada police unveiled a reign of terror in the surrounding areas where the incident took place and initially five persons, including four minors, belonging to Singh Nagar area of the city were taken into custody and they were subjected to torture, he said. After four days, a daily-labourer was produced before the court and he was remanded in custody.

However, the family members of this daily-labourer admitted before the media that the YSRCP leaders have promised to pay them Rs 300 each and the case diary besides the remand report clearly mentioned this, Ramaiah pointed out in the letter. The BC Cell secretary of Vijayawada (Central) segment, Vemula Durga Rao, and 20 women from the surrounding area too was taken into custody but none of them is produced before the court though it is almost a week since they were arrested, the TDP politburo member said.

Suspecting that they have been taken into custody to record a statement through torture and coercion only to implicate Bonda Umamaheswara Rao and finally arrest him, the TDP national general secretary expressed concern that there is no rule of law in Vijayawada. The entire scheme is to improve the prospects of the YSRCP candidate from the segment, Vellampalli Srinivasa Rao, he added.

Efforts are being made to brand Umamaheswara Rao as the conspirator of this whole incident and in a pre-planned manner the police have invoked Section 307 in the FIR, he said. While the medical report clearly mentioned that it is a small injury and the circumstantial evidence too is against this ‘attempt to murder’, Ramaiah said.

Maintaining that in the past five years, the ruling YSRCP has mastered the art of using the police machinery to harass its political opponents, Ramaiah said that almost all the TDP leaders at all levels were arrested and scores of false cases were foisted against them. Stating that the immediate intervention of the poll panel is sine-qua-non for ensuring free and fair election, the TDP politburo member felt that the whole poll process will become a farce if the candidates of opposition parties are hounded by police subjecting them to custodial torture.

Thus, the ECI should obtain independent reports by deputing special election and police observers to the State or select a special election team with officers from outside Andhra Pradesh, he said. He also wanted the style of functioning of the police in the State, with special focus on the Vijayawada Police Commissionerate, too should be closely observed.

Pointing out that the ECI has appointed Vijayawada Police Commissioner, Kranthi Rana Tata, as the police observer for the NTR district, Ramaiah opined that unless the Election Commission of India directly ensures the freedom of the contesting candidates from malicious prosecution the entire poll process can become a mockery of democracy.

Jagan’s Manifesto Dilemma: A Closer Look

As the 2024 elections draw nearer, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy is yet to unveil his party’s manifesto. This delay stands in stark contrast to the pivotal role his manifesto played in securing victory during the 2019 elections. Despite assurances that 99% of the promises made in 2019 have been fulfilled, the absence of a new manifesto raises questions about the direction of Jagan’s campaign.

TDP-JSP Alliance’s “Super Six” Assurances:

In contrast, the TDP-Jana Sena Party (JSP) alliance has wasted no time in outlining their “super six” assurances, with a heavy emphasis on welfare schemes. This strategic move aims to allay the concerns of beneficiaries of YSRCP schemes while promising broader coverage under their administration. This departure from Chandrababu Naidu’s administration-focused approach signals a shift in strategy for the opposition alliance.

Jagan’s Response to Opposition Promises:

In response to the opposition’s Super Six promises, Jagan expressed skepticism, citing the significant financial burden such schemes would impose on the state. He stated, while speaking at an election rally, that approximately 1.4 lakh crore rupees are required per year to implement these schemes. He questioned the feasibility of allocating funds to cover these schemes, particularly after the state’s financial struggles post-bifurcation.

YSRCP’s Manifesto Confusion:

Jagan’s apparent hesitancy to release his party’s manifesto stems from a complex confluence of factors. On one hand, the opposition’s focus on welfare schemes necessitates a robust response from the ruling party, potentially requiring costlier and sensational initiatives. However, Jagan has already dismissed the feasibility of such schemes due to financial constraints.

Pressure for New Initiatives:

Amid growing anti-incumbency sentiments, there are rumors of pressure on Jagan to announce significant measures, such as loan waivers for farmers and women’s self-help groups. However, Jagan’s previous opposition to such schemes, especially during 2019, coupled with the challenge of justifying the expenditure, adds to his dilemma.

Manifesto Impact on Election Dynamics:

While opposition parties are seizing the initiative with their proactive manifesto announcements, Jagan’s indecision risks leaving his campaign in limbo. However, it’s essential to note that many voters in India are swayed by broader issues like emotion and general governance, rather than specific promises outlined in manifestos. Some of the voters do not even go through the manifestos of the political parties.

As the election campaign intensifies, Jagan must balance addressing voter expectations, managing financial constraints, and countering opposition strategies. The delay in the manifesto release underscores the confusion Jagan is currently facing. Further delay in the release of the manifesto may send wrong signals to the people of Andhra Pradesh and further hamper Jagan’s prospects.

Tadepalle palace drafted script for Saturday’s drama, says Pattabhi

0

TDP spokesman, Kommareddy Pattabhiram, said that the Tadepalle palace had prepared the script much earlier for the stone-pelting drama on Chief Minister, Jagan Mohan Reddy, in Vijayawada on Saturday.

Pattabhiram told media persons that the hero in this drama is Jagan while the side-hero role is played by the former minister and YSRCP leader, Vellampalli Srinivas and both of them played their role marvelously. They managed the attack on themselves only to gain sympathy in the ongoing elections but are passing the buck on the TDP, Pattabhi remarked.

With the growing hatred from the people, the YSRCP leaders, including Jagan, are well aware that they are losing the polls and thus playing this kind of drama on the lines of Kodi Katti only to gain public sympathy, the TDP spokesman maintained. When an ambulance is very much available in the Chief Minister’s convoy, why Jagan was taken by a bus, he asked.

The scenes applying a plaster to Jagan while sitting inside the bus were telecast but the organisers miserably failed to use the services of the ambulance which is readily available in the convoy, Pattabhiram said and demanded a reply from the YSRCP leaders. He felt that the throwing stone on Jagan is certainly a part of a big drama.

Within 10 minutes of the incident the protestors came onto the roads carrying posters, Pattabhiram said and asked how the posters and banners were ready in just a matter of 10 minutes. As the Chief Minister, does Jagan need such kind of dramas, Pattabhiram questioned.

TDP sees police failure behind attack on Jagan

0

Strongly condemning the stone-pelting at Chief Minister, Jagan Mohan Reddy, during his poll campaign on Saturday, the TDP on Sunday demanded the immediate shifting of the Incharge Director General of Police (DGP), KV Rajendrananth Reddy, along with the DGP (Intelligence), PSR Anjaneyulu and the Vijayawada Police Commissioner, Kranthi Rana Tata, as the incident took place due to their failure.

In a letter addressed to the Chief Election Commissioner (CEC), the TDP senior leader and member of Rajya Sabha, Kanakamedala Ravindra Kumar felt that the stone-pelting on the Chief Minister is due to the failure of the police. Kanakamedala Ravindra Kumar also demanded that those responsible for the attack be brought to book immediately.

Giving reference of the representations made by the TDP supremo and former chief minister, Chandrababu Naidu, earlier to the Election Commission of India (ECI) on August 28 last year, on March 16 this year to the ECI and the CEC and the representation submitted by Chandrababu Naidu along with Jana Sena chief, Pawan Kalyan, on January 9 this year, the Rajya Sabha member said that it is very sad that the security for a top leader like the Chief Minister, has miserably failed where the senior most IPS officers like the DGP, the DGP (Intelligence) and others are stationed.

Ravindra Kumar mentioned in the letter that the police department has lost its professionalism and conduct as established through a series of episodes of failure in the past five years. Attacks on TDP leaders at several places were handled with bias and the culprits were let off. Pointing out that the then DGP has justified the stone-pelting at the convoy of Chandrababu Naidu in Amaravathi as a democratic right of dissent, the TDP MP said that the attack on the TDP office at Mangalagiri was handled so irresponsibly that the police did not take into custody even a single person responsible for this.

This apart, in Angallu and Kuppam the police personnel had remained as mute spectators when stones were pelted at Chandrababu Naidu in the full glare of the media, he said. Also, in Yerragondapalem in Prakasam district Chandrababu Naidu was attacked by none other than a Minister in the State Cabinet, Kanakamedala pointed out. Besides, the police miserably failed in making proper security arrangements for Prime Minister, Narendra Modi’s election rally at Chilakaluripet on March 17 and no action has been taken yet to probe these lapses and fix the responsibility on those concerned, the TDP MP stated.

Against this backdrop, Kanakamedala said that it is really shocking that much before any preliminary inquiry conducted into the attack on the Chief Minister, the advisor to the Government, Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy, has made attempts to directly malign the TDP and Chandrababu Naidu He felt that it is a travesty of self-cheating by the YSRCP.

Stating that the entire police setup is in the clutches of the Chief Minister, Kanakamedala said that the officers of the choice of the Chief Minister are given focal postings thus reducing the law-enforcing agencies into spineless creatures to act as party functionaries. Some of the Cabinet Ministers are interfering with the police investigation through their statements pointing towards the TDP, he said and suspected that given the past record of the State police some false cases may be foisted against the TDP activists to cover-up their failures.

Kanakamedala opined that as the police officials have already failed in maintenance of the law and order, investigation by the same officials in their own failure may not be impartial to bring the facts to light. Since the responsibility of law and order maintenance during the election period squarely lies with the ECI, Kanakamedala made an appeal to the poll panel to take control of the deteriorating law and order in the State to ensure the poll campaign goes on in a peaceful manner.

Since the DGP, the DGP (Intelligence) and the Vijayawada Police Commissioner have miserably failed in providing proper security arrangements for the Chief Minister and even the Prime Minister as mentioned above how the common man can expect maintenance of proper law and order by the same officials, particularly during the election period, he asked. Hence, Kanakamedala demanded that the Incharge DGP, the DGP (Intelligence) and the Vijayawada Police Commissioner be shifted immediately for protection of law and order.

Kanakamedala also demanded the poll panel to order for an inquiry into Saturday’s incident by an external agency like the CBI or the NIA so that the real culprits can be brought to book in the interest of fairplay and justice.

AP is my State and Amaravati is my capital, says Naidu

0

TDP president and former chief minister, Chandrababu Naidu, on Saturday declared that no power on earth can disturb Amaravathi which will continue to be the capital of the State.

‘This is not Tadikonda. This is Amaravati and I am telling you all from this platform that no power on earth can disturb Amaravathi and this is going to be the permanent capital of the State,” Chandrababu Naidu said at Praja Galam, the mammoth public meeting organised at Tadikonda on Saturday. Only 30 more days left to rewrite the history of the State which is clearly visible in front of everyone here, Chandrababu Naidu said.

The TDP supremo said that he is saluting all the 25,000 farmers in Amaravati who have voluntarily come forward to donate 35,000 acres for building the capital. In just three years time, he said he has taken various developmental activities.

Stating that Hyderabad and Secunderabad were earlier twin cities, Chandrababu Naidu fondly recalled that as the then chief minister of combined Andhra Pradesh he has built the Cyberabad making them as tri cities. “With the similar spirit I wanted to build a massive city of Amaravati combining the cities of Vijayawada and Guntur,” he added.

The Telugus are the highest earning community in the IT sector now and all this has become possible with the efforts that he has encouraged the IT industry in Hyderabad, he said. Pemmasani Chandrasekhar is the candidate of the alliance for the Lok Sabha seat from here while Tenali Sravan Kumar is the candidate for the Tadikonda Assembly segment, Chandrababu Naidu said and stated that he is handing over the responsibility to the people here to elect both of them in these polls.

“I wanted to develop Amaravati in such a way that the whole world should look at this city and I wanted Amaravati to be the city to generate maximum revenue,” Chandrababu Naidu said. But the situation is so bad now that the youth have to migrate to neighbouring States in search of employment, he said.

While Chennai is the capital of Tamil Nadu and Bengaluru is of Karnataka people can easily say that Hyderabad is the capital of Telangana but can anyone say what is the capital of Andhra Pradesh, Chandrababu Naidu asked. The State has become into three pieces under the rule of this psycho, he remarked.

This Chief Minister is shamelessly saying that capital means only four or five buildings, Chandrababu Naidu said and added that if that is the case he had built hundreds of buildings in Amaravati. Capital means the respect and image of a State and it is the victory of the people, he remarked.

Since the foundation for Amaravati has been laid with sacred soil, no power on earth can touch this capital city, Chandrababu Naidu said with confidence. The struggle of the Amaravati Joint Action Committee (JAC) will remain in history, he said and recalled how the JAC leaders were subjected to humiliation and various kinds of harassment.

“I will also take measures to develop both Visakhapatnam and Kurnool too and Visakhapatnam will be the economic capital and Kurnool to be horticulture and seed capital. Only TDP has the capacity to do all this and leaders with commitment and capabilities have come together to form an alliance,” the TDP supremo said.

Asking the people to celebrate Amaravati as the capital on June 4 when the Assembly election results are declared, Chandrababu Naidu said that the people should emerge victorious. Will anyone with minimum common sense demolish a building constructed with Rs 10 cr, he asked and said that this Chief Minister has begun his rule by demolitions but not with constructions, which is a general practice.

Chandrababu said that though biryani packets and liquor are being distributed freely besides arranging 1500 buses people are not willing to attend the meetings being addressed by Jagan while people are voluntarily coming for the TDP meetings. Recalling how he got the seven mandals merged with Andhra Pradesh to take up the Polavaram project, the former chief minister said that he has constructed Pattiseema to divert 140 TMC feet of water thus creating a history.

Asking whether the youth got any kind of employment, he said what happened to the job calendar and Mega DSC. Leave alone inviting industrialists to the State to set up their units, Jagan has chased out the existing ones resulting in the youth migrating to other States in search of employment.

The condition of the government employees too is so bad that the Dearness Allowance (DA) is not being paid to them and Jagan also failed to fulfill the promise that he had made to the employees on abrogation of CPS, Chandrababu Naidu said. Even salaries are not being paid ontime, he added.

Making an appeal to the police personnel to mend their ways, he asked them to stop succumbing to the pressure from higher officials to harass innocent people. “I am assuring you all that I will provide all kinds of facilities and reduce the work pressure. The police setup will certainly get past glory,” Chandababu Naidu said.

The whole education system collapsed after Jagan came to power, he said and stated that in every work that Jagan has executed there is a scam. In the prevailing condition, only the TDP can take the State forward, Chandrababu Naidu said and promised to work with commitment. Recalling how the land rates have gone up in Hyderabad after building Cyberabad, Chandrababu Naidu promises to take care of every section by implementing the Super-Six schemes. “Let us chase out the traitors of Amaravathi,” Chandrababu Naidu said.

The leaders of all the three alliance partners were unanimous in their opinion that the joint public meetings are yielding very good results and felt that such meetings should be organised in maximum possible areas in the State. TDP demands immediate replacement of DGP, Intelligence chief

0

The famous mobile manufacturing company Apple has sent a security alert to TDP general secretary, Nara Lokesh, that his phone is being hacked.

The Apple company has sent an e-mail to Lokesh that efforts are being made to hack and tap his phone with some unidentified software and alerted him to take some precautionary measures. The TDP leaders on Friday said that only the YSRCP leaders are resorting to this criminal offence.

Senior TDP leader and former MP, Kanakamedala Ravindra Kumar, who is also a senior advocate, on Friday lodged a complaint with the Chief Election Commissioner (CEC). In a letter addressed to the CEC, Ravindra Kumar said that Lokesh’s I-Phone has been tapped using Pegasus software by certain unknown agencies.

Mentioning that similar alert was received by Lokesh a few days ago also, the Rajya Sabha member said that the Director General of Police (DGP), Rajendranath Reddy, and the Intelligence chief, PSR Anjaneyulu, have become virtual lackeys of the ruling YSRCP resorting to highly unethical and unlawful activities only to jeopardise the prospects of the NDA alliance partners in the ongoing elections to the Assembly and the Lok Sabha.

Rajendranath Reddy has been holding the position of the DGP only as the incharge for the past two years, Kanakamedala said in the letter and felt that this is violative of the Supreme Court orders. The TDP MP also said that Anjaneyulu has been acting as a henchman to the State Government and there are several allegations against him on his biased functioning.

Ravinda Kumar demanded immediate action by the Election Commission of India (ECI) against these officers. The MP also wanted neutral and reputed officers in these posts to ensure free and fair elections.

Everyone is eagerly waiting for the polling date to teach a fitting lesson to this Chief Minister, Jagan Mohan Reddy, he said and stated that he and the Jana Sena chief, Mr Pawan Kalyanm, have come here to instill confidence among them as they have been facing umpteen problems in this anarchic rule of Jagan. “We are going to give a fitting reply with a battle for Jagan who always says that he is Sidhham (ready). Are you also Sidhham (ready) for this,” he asked the people, which is received with a tremendous response from the public.

Regretting that there is no job guarantee even for the government employees, Chandrababu Naidu said that the dues pending for the police personnel too have not been cleared since long. ‘My deep condolences to the bereaved family members of the Special Protection Force (SPF) constable, Sankar Rao, who has committed suicide earlier in the day, as he resorted to the exterme step due to financial problems,” Chandrababu Naidu said.

There is a tremendous pressure on the police personnel who have been on duty for 24 hours a day, he said and felt that the financial condition of such police personnel should be taken into consideration as they always fight for proper maintenance of law and order. The Travelling Allowance (TA) and Dearness Allowance (DA) dues have been pending for several months, Chandrababu Naidu said and promised to clear all these dues immediately after the TDP allied NDA is into power in these elections.

Recalling the services of the former Lok Sabha speaker, the late GMC Balayogi, the TDP supremo said that the coming NDA government will certainly take all measures for the welfare of the downtrodden sections of society. He also promised one MLC post for Madigas and do justice for all other sections.

Making a promise to do justice to the Kapu community too, Chandrababu Naidu called upon the people to hit Jagan back in such a way that he should never forget it in his lifetime. We serve people, Jagan loots state, says Naidu

0

TDP president for former chief minister, Nara Chandrababu Naidu, on Wednesday remarked that power is serving the public for TDP, the Jana Sena and the BJP while it is looting for Chief Minister, Jagan Mohan Reddy, who has exploited his power as a licence to loot the public wealth.

Addressing an enormous public gathering at Tanuku in West Godavari district flanked by the Jana Sena chief, Mr Pawan Kalyan, as part of Praja Garjana, Chandrababu Naidu said in the past five years Jagan is the only person who has prospered in the State. The TDP supremo asked the people whether they want a destructive rule of Jagan or development of the State which is possible only by the TDP allied National Democratic Alliance (NDA).

Do the youth want jobs or ganja and drugs, Chandrababu Naidu asked and informed the public that “let us develop the State with the cooperation and support of the Centre where too the NDA is going to come back to power.” Clarifying to the public that the agenda of all the three partners of the NDA is common, he said that the agenda is welfare, development and upholding the democratic values.

Stating that he and the Jana Sena chief, Pawan Kalyan, have made certain sacrifices for the victory of the alliance, Chandrababu Naidu termed Pawan Kalyan as the real hero who is fighting for the people after making these sacrifices. Chandrababu Naidu made an appeal to the people to crush the ego of Mr Jagan. “The May 13 polling should be in such a way that it should crush the arrogance of Jagan,” he remarked.

Cheered by the huge turnout at the public meeting, Chandrababu Naidu felt that this was only the beginning of the end for Jagan. He expressed confidence that the YSRCP would certainly be wiped out of the political scene as soon as Varahi joined the Praja Galam.

Recalling that the TDP joined the NDA in 2014 to save the State from the troubles faced post-bifurcation, Mr Chandrababu said that now again the TDP has become a partner of the alliance to rescue the State from the clutches of Jagan. He said that Pawan Kalyan has come into politics sacrificing his comfortable life and crores of revenue from the film world only to serve the people.

“Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, who wants to take the nation to the number one position in the world, me with 40 years of experience in politics, and Pawan Kalyan who is very keen to serve the public joined together only to take the State much forward,” Chandrababu Naidu said. Recalling the past victory of TDP winning all the 15 Assembly segments in the district, the former chief minister felt that now Jagan’s party may lose even deposits in all these segments.

Chandrababu Naidu said that the State is already on a ventilator and the alliance will help like the oxygen to bring it back to active life. Asking the people to ponder over how the State has witnessed development between 2014 and 19 and how it got destroyed later, he said that there are several works pending like building the capital Amaravathi, the Polavaram and completing all other irrigation projects.

This apart, the youth need employment opportunities and the industrial corridors too should be developed, he said. “The youth should remember that all this is possible only with the alliance and the State will certainly be brought back on track,” he added.

Reiterating that the post of chief minister is not his priority, he said that the TDP, the Jana Sena and the BJP have joined hands keeping in view the future of the State and the people, including the youth. Chandrababu Naidu wanted every citizen to think about this and about the future of the State. Not even a single farmer in the State is happy now, he promised to initiate all possible measures for the progress of the farming sector.

The YSRCP is making every effort to bring in differences between the TDP and the Jana Sena through fake social media postings, Chandrababu Naidu said and added that even the signatures of the TDP and the Jana Sena leaders are being forged. He made an appeal to the people not to trust the fake postings on social media.

Chandrababu Naidu is confident that the Super-Six schemes will bring in a social revolution and the alliance is coming to the people with a perfect agenda. Every woman will be paid Rs 1500 on 1st of every month under Adabidda Nidhi and under Talliki Vandanam Rs 15,000 will be paid for each child for pursuing their studies. Listing out several other such schemes, Chandrababu Naidu reaffirmed that the volunteer system will be continued and soon after the NDA forms the government in the State their wages will be revised.

Minister, representing this district, Karumuru Nageswara Rao, looted the public properties, including the lands of innocent people, Chandrababu Naidu remarked. Calling upon the people to question Jagan wherever possible, Chandrababu Naidu said that he will show what is development and the people should work hard for these 30 days.

“You all joined hands to work for the victory of the alliance and I will personally take the responsibility to work hard for all of you for the coming five years to take the State on the much progressive path,” Chandrababu Naidu told the gathering.

Only Jagan has become rich in these 5 years, says Naidu

In the past five years, only Chief Minister, Jagan Mohan Reddy, could make a fortune in the State, Chandrababu Naidu, former chief minister and TDP president, remarked.

Jagan has been spending Rs 15 cr every day to mobilise the crowd for his meeting through 1500 buses and from where he is getting such a huge amount, Chandrababu Naidu asked while launching the website tdpforandhra.com. The TDP supremo said that during the upcoming bus yatra in the State, Jagan accompanied by the I-PAC team will go for prepaid human angle.

Paying Rs 99,999 as donation for the TDP through this website, Chandrababu Naidu made an appeal to the people to donate freely for the party making use of the website. He felt that politics should have educated leaders rather than rich and the landlords and the TDP always moved forward with social justice for the ethical persons.

“We have given high priority for the educated to make them MLAs and MPs and the party always strived for value politics,” he said and pointed out that the TDP does not have party offices in some districts till now. The people always think about the State pre-TDP and after the TDP is formed, he said, adding that the party never built palaces on public property.

Making it clear that the TDP will move forward with a close coordination of the national and State-level BJP leaders, Chandrababu Naidu said that the YSRCP is well aware that it is losing power and thus resorted to setting on fire the Heritage papers. The YSRCP has released a fake letter online in his name that the Super-Six is withdrawn, Chandrababu Naidu said and felt that this is the goal of the Paytm and 420 batches of the YSRCP.

The phones of all the people are being tapped and a container carrying some secret matters is going to Tadepalli everyday while the vehicles coming from the Tadepalli palace move in a totally different direction, he remarked. Chandrababu Naidu said that the money earned through illegal means is being distributed outside now and even the land records of the people are being changed utilising the technology. The TDP supremo made it clear that all such illegal activities will be checked once the NDA is into power in these elections.

Naidu promises Rs 6000 monthly pension for physically challenged

0

TDP supremo, Chandrababu Naidu, on Monday promised Rs 6,000 monthly pension for the physically challenged by the TDP, the Jana Sena and the BJP government coming to power in these elections.

“Some physically challenged met me during my recent visit to Sattenapalli and submitted a memorandum in which they wanted some financial assistance. On their request I made a promise to them that Rs 6,000 monthly pension will be paid for them immediately after the NDA comes to power,” Chandrababu Naidu said in a press note released here on Monday. Despite the State facing certain economic problems this decision has been taken keeping in view the difficulties of the physically challenged, he said.

Observing that it is the TDP that has been giving high priority for the welfare and self-respect of the physically challenged, Chandrababu Naidu said that during the TDP regime various competitions were conducted for them and even prizes were distributed for the winners.

But this YSR Congress government has cancelled all the welfare schemes implemented during the TDP regime, Chandrababu Naidu said and added that soon after the NDA comes to power more importance will be given to the physically challenged.

He said that the YSR Congress government had completely neglected the welfare of the disabled. It did not increase the pension or initiated welfare measures, he said. He appealed to the disabled people in the state to support the TDP and have a better life ahead.

Youth should think twice before going to vote, says Vijay Kumar

0

TDP official spokesman, Neelayapalem Vijay Kumar, on Sunday made a fervent appeal to the voters in the State, particularly to the youth, to think twice before exercising their franchise as development of the State and providing employment to the youth is possible only with the TDP supremo, Nara Chandrababu Naidu.

Vijay Kumar told media persons that the youth should get their jobs to realise the dreams of their parents and they get proper employment only if Chandrababu Naidu becomes the chief minister again. “If you want jobs Babu should be back as the chief minister,” Vijay Kumar noted.

The youth should ponder over how the State progressed between 2014 and 2019 and how the development has touched its rock-bottom level in the past five years, the TDP leader said. The people should realise the fact that which party in ruling has provided great employment opportunities and invited industrialists to set up their units here and created assets besides providing opportunities for businessmen, he said.

During the TDP regime over 100 industries were established in the State while the YSRCP Government did not even make any attempt to invite industrialists to the State, he remarked. In fact, the YSRCP Government has chased out the existing industries which migrated to the neighbouring States, Vijay Kumar maintained.

Pointing out that the State did not have a capital, the High Court, the Assembly and the Secretariat during the bifurcation, he said, adding that Chandrababu Naidu as the then chief minister of the divided Andhra Pradesh had made strenuous efforts for establishing all these. No doubt, some public sector units were existing in and around Visakhapatnam before the State bifurcation but Chandrababu Naidu made every effort to invite companies to the State providing employment to over five lakh youth in five years, he said.

It all depends on the policies to be adopted by any chief minister for the companies to come to the respective State to set up their units and the industrialists liked the system adopted by Chandarbabu Naidu and thus globally renowned companies like Kia, Hero Honda, Isuzu and several electronic industries have come forward to establish their units in the State, he observed. The chief minister should have a vision but not simply confine oneself to cutting ribbons, he said and noted that even at the age of 70 Mr Chandrababu has made a power-point presentation early in the morning amid severe cold atmosphere at Davos, Vijay Kumar remarked.

Observing that Jagan Mohan Reddy after becoming the Chief Minister has totally destroyed the entire State and even kicked out several existing industrialists from the State, he said that he even made Andhra Pradesh as the State which does not have a capital. Jagan has also created several complications for the farmers movement in Amaravathi who have been fighting for their rights, Vijaya Kumar said.

The TDP officials spokesman made an appeal to the people, particularly the youth, to mull over all these issues before going to exercise their franchise and take a wise decision to vote for the TDP to bring back Chandrababu Naidu as the chief minister of the State to mould their future. Babu should be back for the youth to get jobs, Vijay Kumar maintained.

Naidu promises full security for Muslims in NDA govt in AP

“I have come before you to assure you all full security as the people of the State are now more worried about their safety and security besides guarantee to their lives,” said TDP president and former chief minister, Nara Chandrababu Naidu, on Saturday.

Addressing a largely attended public meeting at Pedakurapadu of Palnadu district during the Praja Galam, Chandrababu Naidu said that he has come before the people along with the support of the Jana Sena and the BJP as he is keen that the anti-incumbency vote should not get divided. “Jana Sena chief, Pawan Kalyan, has already given a call to the people that they all should join hands to get the State rid of this evil. The TDP, the Jana Sena and the BJP joined hands keeping in view the future of all of you ,” Chandrababu Naidu said.

Stating that great injustice is done for Muslims in the past five years during the YSRCP rule, Chandrababu Naidu assured the community that he will personally take the responsibility of their safety and security. Calling upon the people to vote for the NDA for the future of the country and the State, he wanted everyone to take this as his assurance to them.

The local TDP leader, Kommalapati Sridhar, has always worked for the party, he said that the people of this segment are lucky enough to have such a leader with them. Since Bhashyam Praveen has been fielded as the NDA candidate from here as 40 per cent of the voters are the youth, Chandrababu promised MLC for Kommalapati Sridhar.

The five-year rule of the YSRCP is a nightmare for the people of the State, he said that the power-hungry Chief Minister, Jagan Mohan Reddy, does not mind even taking away the lives of the people to remain in power. Jagan is looting the State in all ways and the sand has become a money spinning business for him as the local contractors are paying Rs 4,000 for every truck load of sand, Chandrababu Naidu remarked.

The atrocities against all sections have gone up in the State in the past five years, he said that a local YSRCP leader called a Muslim woman a thief when she was coming back home after performing namaz at a local masjid. When this has happened for an innocent Muslim woman one can easily imagine what will be the fate of others, he said.

The TDP has been partner of the NDA since 2014, but no injustice was done to any Muslim during that TDP regime, Chandrababu said, adding that his is a vision while Jagan’s is a poison. Had Amaravathi been completed the State would have got Rs one lakh crore revenue every year, Chandrababu Naidu said and regretted that Jagan has totally destroyed everything, including Amaravathi.

Pointing out that Lavu Krishnadevarayalu, who was with the YSRCP till recently, has quit the party and joined the TDP as he wants Amaravathi to be developed, the TDP supremo said that if the youth want jobs Babu should be back in power and if anyone wants ganja Jagan should be supported. The Minister for Water Resources does not have even basic knowledge about the portfolio, Chandrababu Naidu said and added that not even a single farmer in the State is happy now.

“My thinking is always 20 years forward than the youth. In 2000 I gave a call for Vision-2020 and I strongly feel that by 2047 the country will be number one in the world in development in all sectors,” the former chief minister observed. Chandrababu Naidu expressed confidence that the Super-Six will certainly transform the lives of everyone in the State.

The TDP supremo suspected that the Congress is making every effort to ensure that the YSRCP votes are not divided. Chandrababu Naidu also promised to do justice to the Madigas even after categorisation of the community. He also promised to develop Pedakurapadu in all sectors.
