Political Marriage: Allagadda strongman’s daughter to wed Vijayawada ex-MLA son

0

He is an America-returned young gun aspiring for a political position in AP. He is working very hard to inherit his father’s political legacy in Vijayawada. She too is a US-educated girl who is out to carve a niche for herself in Kurnool and Nandyal area. Her father too is a senior politician. Both these young guns are now all set to tie the knot.

Former MLA and TDP biggie Bonda Umamaheswara Rao’s son Bonda Siddharth is all set to marry former seed development corporation chairperson and Allagadda strongman AV Subba Reddy’s daughter Jashwanthi Reddy. Both have studied together in the US and knew each other for quite some time. Both are very active in TDP politics and form part of the young brigade.

Jashwanthi has already begun touring Nandyal assembly constituency and is being assisted by dad AV Subba Reddy. Subba Reddy, who was once a close camp follower and the right hand man of Bhuma Nagireddy, has now fallen out from Bhuma’s daughter and former minister Akhila Priya. Jashwanthi is being projected by the TDP as the party’s MLA candidate from Nandyal. She is now being viewed as a threat by Akhila Priya and the Bhuma family.

Bonda Uma too is promoting his son Siddharth in Vijayawada politics. Siddharth is quite active in Vijayawada politics. Many feel that the battle for one-upmanship between Siddharth and Kesineni Nani’s daughter Swetha is at the root of the fight between Bonda Uma and Nani.

TDP leader Buddha Venkanna released after midnight drama

0

After seven hours of questioning, the AP police left off former MLC and TDP leader Buddha Venkanna late in the night. He was arrested in connection with his comments on Minister Kodali Nani and AP DGP Gowtham Sawang. He was given station bail and released late in the night.

A case was booked against Venkanna under sections 153 A (making inflammatory speeches), Section 506 (for causing disaffection), Section 505 (2) (for inflaming regional and religious passions) of the Indian Penal Code. Speaking after his release from the police station, Venkanna said that he would not be cowed down by the police excesses. He said he would continue with his struggle against Kodali Nani.

The AP police on Monday evening arrested senior TDP leader and former MLC Buddha Venkanna in connection with his comments against Andhra Pradesh Director General of Police Gowtham Sawang. The police entered into the residence of Venkanna on the pretext of seeking clarifications about his comments on the DGP. Later, they took him into their custody.

Venkanna had said that the DGP has now become the Director of Jagan Party. He said if Nani tried to attack Chandrababu Naidu’s residence, he would only go back as a corpse. The TDP accused the AP police of being vindictive. It said the police were acting as the agents of the ruling YSRCP.

Still a TDP stronghold, but no constituency incharge for 18 months

0

This assembly constituency is in Chittoor, which is TDP supremo Chandrababu Naidu’s home turf. But, today, the TDP has no leader who can take on the YSRCP. The former MLA, who lost the 2019 elections, has simply disappeared and is not accessible to the rank and file of the party. In fact, the constituency does not have even a constituency incharge for the last year-and-a-half.

We are talking about the once-strong citadel of Thamballapalle in Chittoor district. The district has been a TDP stronghold from the time the party was founded. But today, the constituency is all but reduced to a fiefdom of YSRCP strongman Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy. His brother Dwarakanath Reddy is the sitting MLA.

The TDP candidate Shankar Yadav was MLA from 2014 till 2019. During this period, he is said to have spent more time in Bengaluru than in the constituency. So, the party cadre opposed him in 2019. But, Chandrababu renominated him as the party candidate in 2019 too. He was swept away in the YSRCP wave in 2019. After his defeat, he has simply left for Bengaluru and said to be spending more time there.

Despite the best efforts of the YSRCP bosses, the TDP could win 16 sarpanch seats in the local body elections. This clearly shows that the party still has the support of the people. Sources say that if a worthy incharge is appointed, then the party would regain its lost position. As of now, the names of former MLA Lakshmi Devi and son of Nallari Kishore Kumar Reddy are doing rounds for the incharge post. It remains to be seen how the party regains its lost glory in Thamballapalle.

TDP in Chirala: Enthusiastic cadre, leaderless Party

0

The TDP is facing a strange predicament in the politically hyperactive Chirala assembly constituency. The cadre is energetic and enthusiastic. They are very active in implementing the party programme. But, it does not have a leader of standing who can lead them. The tallest of the leaders, Karanam Balaram, is now with the YSRCP as his son Venkatesh has now joined the YSRCP.

Interestingly, though Karanam Balaram left, the cadre has largely remained in-tact. No major leader went to the YSRCP. The cadre is still very active and is organizing programme after programme successfully. The unit is very active despite not having proper leadership. Though the party has appointed Yadam Balaji as the incharge of the constituency, he has become inaccessible to the cadre.

There are reports that he is in touch with both district minister Balineni Srinivasa Reddy and Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy. Some TDP cadres have already lodged complaints with the party top leadership. Sources say that the TDP top leadership is planning to send a fact finding committee to study the local situation. The cadre feels that the TDP chief should appoint an incharge for the constituency at the earliest.

The party is also exploring the possibility of appointing two-time MLA and senior leader Paleti Rama Rao as the incharge for the constituency. However, the leadership is still exploring the possibility of bringing back Karanam, who is said to be in two minds in the YSRCP due to the opposition from former MLA Amanchi Krishna Mohan.

TDP MLA’s plight in YSRCP, na ghar ka, na ghat ka!

0

Few TDP MLAs have joined YSRCP after 2019 Assembly polls with a hope of enjoying power and position if they join ruling party instead of remaining powerless in Opposition party. But all their hopes were dashed as they neither got power or money or even the respect they deserve as an MLA.

YSRCP chief and Andhra Pradesh chief minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy met them only while they joined YSRCP. There has been no CM’s appointment for them later

One such poor MLA is Vasupalli Ganesh, who won from TDP from Vizag South constituency and later joined YSRCP. The YSRCP corporators in Vizag are not allowing him to undertake any activities in his constituency.

The YSRCP leaders and cadre are not ready to accept Ganesh as their MLA even after two years. Moreover, the YSRCP has been divided into three groups in his constituency and rival two groups are working against Ganesh.

Ganesh enjoyed power and position when TDP was in power. He expected the same in YSRCP but shocked to face humiliation from his own party leaders and cadre

Reportedly, he is now planning to make a comeback to TDP but TDP leaders and cadre are resisting his re-entry as they are angry at him for ditching TDP when the party is in crisis.

Will this “feel-good” MLA turn into a fiery leader?

0

He is one “feel-good” politician who has friends across the spectrum and no enemies. He meets with people with a smile on his face and is known for his soft-spoken ways. He has been known as a politician who studiously avoids tiffs, wordy duels and arguments. Yes. We are talking about senior TDP leader, former MP and present MLA Gadde Rammohan of East Vijayawada

Sources say that there is pressure from his party to become more vocal and fiery. TDP leadership is insisting that he adopt an approach similar to Kesineni Nani, Buddha Venkanna and Bonda Uma. The party feels that the “feel-good” approach may not work given the aggressive politics being played by the YSRCP.

The general understanding is that the politics are increasingly turning aggressive and that soft-going leaders would be edged out by these tough-talking loudmouths. The YSRCP leaders in Vijayawada East are extremely aggressive. The mass voters do not identify themselves with soft-natured leaders, feel the TDP thinking heads.

It remains to be seen if a soft-natured leader like Gadde Rammohan Rao changes his tack or stays with his original nature.

Where is Lokesh Babu? Why is he silent??

0

The political watchers are increasingly realising that over the last one month, the name of Lokesh is not creating any buzz. He has not been speaking much and there are no statements from him. During this period, he hasn’t made it to the news media headlines too. Despite being the national general secretary of the TDP,, his visibility has come down considerably.

Time was when Lokesh used to be the first one to descend on any town where a TDP worker is harassed. He would go and console the kin of the harassed TDP worker. These days, the news about Lokesh is confined to Mangalagiri assembly constituency only. Time was when he used to land in any place from Srikakulam to Kadapa to remain by the side of the party workers.

The last time that Lokesh was heard was when he undertook a tour to his home turf of Kuppam. Soon after, the party was badly defeated in the municipal elections in Kuppam. He wasn’t present even during the review meetings held to analyse the causes of the defeat.

Interestingly, there are reports that several seniors have indicated that they would rather prefer to work with Chandrababu Naidu and not under Lokesh Babu. Also, reports say that there is a perceptional difference between the father and son..While Chandrababu, who is a veteran of many election battles, feels that the TDP should have alliance with other parties to win the next elections, Lokesh strongly opines that the TDP should go it alone. It remains to be seen as to how Lokesh rediscovers himself and bounces back.

Vizag East: Is TDP walking into YSRCP trap?

1

Is the TDP leadership scoring a self goal in Visakhapatnam East assembly constituency? Is it falling into the YSRCP trap? Is it playing into the hands of the YSRCP, which is using the BC card to confuse the TDP? Well! The political moves of the TDP bosses make it amply clear that the TDP is well on course to fall for the YSRCP bait.

Since its formation in 2009, Vizag East assembly constituency has been a TDP citadel. In 2009, liquor baron-turned-TDP leader Velagapudi Ramakrishna Babu braved Congress and Chiru’s Praja Rajyam Party to win by over 3000 votes. In 2014 too, he had won by a huge margin from the same constituency. In fact, his victory margin was the second highest in the state.

Even in 2019, he braved the Jagan tsunami and managed to win by a huge margin of 25000 votes. This showed his personal connect and popularity among the Vizag East voters. Thus, he earned the sobriquet of ‘Hattrick Hero.’ But, after that the TDP overall performance began to take a beating and the YSRCP had won the local body and GVMC elections.

Now, the YSRCP has begun playing the BC card and has begun saying that Velagapuri Ramakrishna Babu is an outsider for Vizag and that he comes from the Upper Castes. It gave MLC post to Vamsikrishna, a BC and the Vizag mayor too is a BC. The TDP too appears to have fallen into the BC trap and is said to be thinking of projecting a BC. Thus, it is actually falling into the YSRCP trap. Already, there is a talk within the TDP that Velagapudi could be denied the ticket. If that happens, the TDP would only play into the hands of the YSRCP, say analysts. Is someone in TDP listening?

Police attack TDP protest camp, kick senior leader in the chest

1

The TDP was at the receiving end of the police ‘treatment’ and the YSRCP attacks in Narasaraopetassembly constituency on Saturday. The police reportedly abused TDP leaders physically in Jonnalagadda village of the constituency, due to which several TDP workers suffered injuries. Some of them have been shifted to nearby hospitals.

The police tried to disperse the TDP protesters and started kicking and punching them. In the melee, TDP incharge for the assembly constituency Dr Chadalawada Aravind Babu fell unconscious due to the attack. He was reportedly kicked in the chest and he soon lost consciousness. He was immediately rushed to a private hospital. Sources said that Aravind Babu suffered concussion and felt difficulty in breathing.

Sources say that his condition is now stable. TDP sources said that the YSRCP workers had tried to prevent the ambulance carrying Dr Aravinda Babu from reaching the hospital. They pelted stones on the ambulance and broke its glass panes. They alleged that the police remained mute spectators and did nothing to disperse the attacking activists.

The TDP has strongly criticized the high-handed and partisan behavior of the police. They said the police were behaving like YSRCP activists. They said that several TDP workers were injured in the unruly attack at the protest site in Jonnalagadda.

Is Ganta Srinivas Rao back to pavilion?

0

It looks like former minister and TDP MLA Ganta Srinivas Rao has decided to continue in TDP and work under the leadership of TDP chief N.Chandrababu Naidu.

Ganta resigned for his MLA post in February 2021 to protest privatisation of Vizag Steel Plant. However, his resignation was not accepted till date.

Although as per official records, he continues to be in TDP and he continues to be TDP MLA, he is staying away from TDP activities since February last year.

During the last one year, Ganta made several attempts to join YSRCP but was blocked by YSRCP leaders who include minister Avanthi Srinivas and Rajya Sabha member Vijayasai Reddy.

Later, Ganta tried to project himself as ‘Kapu leader’ by holding meetings with Kapu leaders of various political parties. But this too backfired as Kapu leaders didn’t agree to work under his leadership.

Later, he tried to enter Jana Sena but there was not much response from Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan. Since he exhausted all other political options, Ganta reportedly decided to continue in TDP and get back to full-time politics.

This became evident as Ganta set up large number of flexies in Vizag greeting people on Sankranthi, which prominently carried pictures of Chandrababu and TDP.

33 TDP leaders/ cadre murdered in 32-month YSRCP regime!

0

The opposition TDP in Andhra Pradesh has released the list of its leaders and party workers who were brutally murdered after YSRCP came to power in May 2019.

According to the figures released by TDP on Friday (today), as many as 33 TDP leaders and party workers were brutally murdered in the past 32 month rule of YSRCP government.

This list was released in the wake of brutal murder of TDP leader Thota Chandraiah of Macharla consituency in Guntur district recently which created a furore in Andhra Pradesh.

Of the 33 murdered, about 20 belonged to weaker sections, said TDP. Most of the murders were committed in Palnadu region in Guntur district.

8 arrested for TDP leader’s murder in Andhra

0

Police in Andhra Pradesh’s Guntur district have arrested eight persons in connection with the murder of Telugu Desam Party (TDP) leader Thota Chandraiah.

Guntur district Superintendent of Police Vishal Guni announced the arrests of the accused on Friday.

The 42-year-old leader of the opposition party was brutally hacked to death by a group of assailants in full public view in the Gundlapadu village in Veldurthi mandal on Thursday.

The TDP leader was riding a two-wheeler when he was waylaid by the assailants, who attacked him with knives, sticks and stones. The incident between 7 a.m. and 7.30 a.m.and the TDP leader died on the spot.

The SP said a case was registered on a complaint lodged by the victim’s son. Police had gathered clues from the spot and formed four teams to track down the culprits.

Within 24 hours of the incident, police arrested eight accused. According to SP, the main accused is Chinta Shivaramaia. The other accused are E. Kotaiah, S. Raghurama Rao, S. Ramakoteswara Rao, Chinta Srinivas Rao, Thota Anjaneyulu, Thota Shivanarayana and Chinta Adinarayana.

The main accused is a mandal level public representative and reportedly belongs to the ruling YSR Congress Party.

According to police, there was a dispute between Shivaramaiah and Chandraiah over laying of cement road. The investigations also revealed that before Thursday’s incident, Shivaramaiah had gone to a function where some villagers told him that Chandraiah was hatching a plot to murder him.

Shivaramaiah took help of seven others and murdered Chandraiah before the latter could execute his alleged plan. According to police, all the accused belong to the same caste.

The murder had triggered tension in the village on Thursday. TDP president and former chief minister N. Chandrababu Naidu had visited the village and participated in the slain leader’s funeral.

Naidu had called it a political murder. He alleged that under the anarchic rule of YSRCP several TDP functionaries lost their lives. He said YSRCP was resorting to killing the TDP leaders and workers who were raising their voice against the misrule. He said in the Palnadu region of Guntur district alone tens of TDP leaders and workers were killed.

“Operation Cleanup” begins in Kuppam

0

TDP supremo Chandrababu Naidu has begun “Operation Cleanup” in Kuppam. He has begun the process of building up a new second-level leadership in Kuppam. He has taken up the process of cleaning up the party in the all-important constituency especially after the defeat in the municipal elections in Kuppam.

Normally, leaders like Muniratnam, Chandrababu’s PA Manohar, MLC Srinivasulu and Gaurivani are seen by Chandrababu Naidu’s side whenever he visits Kuppam. But in his latest visit to Kuppam, these leaders were conspicuous by their absence. Internal sources say that Chandrababu himself asked them to keep off from the day-to-day TDP activities.

PA Manohar and Muniratnam had resigned soon after the election defeat. In fact, Manohar reportedly asked to be relieved immediately. But, he was asked by the party leadership to continue till alternative arrangements were made. But, the party consciously kept them away from Chandrababu Naidu. MLC G Srinivasulu has not been occupying the dais ever since the party defeat in Kuppam.

Sources say that Chandrababu is planning to make former minister Amarnath Reddy incharge of Kuppam constituency. Reddy, who is vastly experienced and has been known to be an expert at the grassroots level work would soon take over and build the party from the bottom in Kuppam.

Naidu seeks action against those involved in attacks on TDP leaders

0

Telugu Desam Party (TDP) national president N. Chandrababu Naidu on Tuesday urged the Director General of Police Gautam Sawang to take stringent action against those involved in the brutal attack on his party leaders in Kuppam Assembly segment in Andhra Pradesh’s Chittoor district.

In a letter to the DGP, former Andhra Pradesh chief minister Naidu stressed the need for maintaining law and order to restore the people’s faith in democracy. He alleged that the henchmen of the ruling YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) are targeting the opposition TDP leaders but there has been no action from the police there.

“It has been brought to my notice about the brutal and uncivilised attack by YSRCP henchmen on TDP leaders in Kuppam, on January 10, 2022. Two TDP leaders, Lokesh and Saravan were attacked in broad daylight by the YSRCP goons in Kuppam town. Not only were they attacked but also one of them, Lokesh, was prevented from going to the hospital to get treatment,” wrote Naidu, who represents Kuppam constituency.

The leader of opposition told the DGP: “Such cruel attacks were carried out by the YSRCP henchmen only to deter the TDP leaders from raising illegal mining issues. These attacks have not only eclipsed fundamental rights enshrined in the Constitution but are also a blot on our democracy.”

Meanwhile, the TDP staged protests across the state on Tuesday, demanding that the YSRCP government bring down the prices of essential commodities.

The party leaders and workers took out rallies, demanding that the government reduce the prices of essential commodities, petrol, diesel and gas ahead of the Sankranti festival celebrations.

TDP general secretary Panchumarthy Anuradha said that the poor people in the state were unable to celebrate Sankranti considering the skyrocketing prices. The YSRCP leaders were enjoying feasts and entertainment with tainted money but not bothering about the hunger pangs of the common people, she said.

She said Chief Minister Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy was still unable to give a convincing reply on why Anna Canteens were closed. These canteens were providing food at just Rs 5 during the TDP regime.

Finally, TDP launches its own newspaper!

0

Almost all major political parties in India have their own newspapers and TV news channels. But for the Telugu Desam party that was formed 40 years ago and was in power in Undivided Andhra Pradesh for 15 years and residuary Andhra Pradesh for 5 years, there is no newspaper or news channel of its own. It depends on other media organisations for coverage of party activities and programmes.

The TDP on Tuesday (today) finally launched its own newspaper. But it is not a regular newspaper but an ‘e-paper’. It has been named as “Chaitanya Ratham”.

TDP chief and former AP CM N.Chandrababu Naidu formally launched party’s e-paper on Monday at TDP office in Mangalagiri. The e-paper was sent to 30 lakh active members in TDP soon after its launch.

Naidu said though TDP was formed 40 years and was in power for 20 years, it never thought of setting up its own newspaper or news channel because TDP strongly felt that media should be ‘apolitical’. Taking a dig at Sakshi media owned by YSRCP chief and AP CM YS Jaganmohan Reddy, he said, “Some people have set up their own newspaper and media channels with the money earned through corruption and shady deals in politics and by misusing their power. They are now dictating all media organisations and warning them against writing anything against them. Those who are daring enough to expose their wrongdoings, they are branded on caste on political grounds.”

Naidu said TDP’s e-paper will expose all the wrongdoings of YSRCP government and create awareness among people how YSRCP’s flawed policies and decisions will impact their lives and livelihood.

TDP heavyweights fight proxy war in Kakinada

0

A turf war between two TDP heavyweights is marring the prospects of the TDP in East Godavari’s Kakinada. The two heavyweights are – former finance minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu and former deputy chief minster Nimmakayala Chinarajappa. Both the leaders are fighting their proxy war and this is threatening to affect the party prospects in Kakinada rural assembly constituency.

Currently, former MLA Pilli Anantalakshmi is the TDP incharge for the constituency. She and her husband Pilli Sattibabu are now handling the constituency. She has the backing of Yanamala. However, Chinarajappa is trying to unseat the Pilli family. He is accusing them of not puttng up a strong fight against the YSRCP. Chinarajappa group is also claiming that the Pilli family is all set to join the YSRCP, which the latter hotly denies.

However, Pilli Anantalakshmi is accusing Chinarajappa of trying to get a person from his caste as the constituency incharge. She also said that there was no question of she joining the YSRCP. The issue is fast deteriorating into a massive group fight in Kakinada and is threatening to spill over into neighbouring constituencies too. It is about time Chandrababu sets the house in order.

Defeat me in Kuppam if you can, Chandrababu dares YSRCP

TDP Chandrababu Naidu dared the ruling YSRCP to face him in Kuppam in the 2024 elections. He said that he would surely contest from Kuppam and that there was no question of shifting away from his home turf. He said the YSRCP has no right to ask him to go away from Kuppam.

Visiting Kuppam for the first time after the recent defeat of the party in the municipal elections, Chandrababu addressed party workers and sympathizers in Devaraju Puram in Ramakuppam mandal. Chandrababu would cover three mandals in the constituency during his two-day tour beginning Thursday. The last time he visited the constituency was on October 29 and 30 ahead of the municipal elections.

Chandrababu Naidu further said that he would visit Kuppam once in every three months. He said that the YSRCP had won because of the money power. He said that the YSRCP used money to lure the voters and he added that he would stand by every party worker in times of need. He said that though some local leaders had defected to the YSRCP, the cadre and the voters were with them. He said the TDP would win back Kuppam.

Kuppam has been a TDP citadel from the beginning. The party has not tasted defeat till 2020. The party lost all the elections held after 2019. The TDP was defeated in the local body elections and the panchayat election. This came as a shocker for the TDP as Kuppam is represented by none other than Chandrababu himself.

TDP to “block” biased media outlets

1

The TDP is upset at the attempts of a section of the media, especially of the electronic and digital varieties, at deliberate vilification of the party. These channels have been willfully running down the party and are trying to show it in poor light. So upset the party is that it has officially declared that it would not send its representatives and would not take part in any TV debates organized by these channels

The channels in question are TV 9, Prime 9, Sakshi TV and digital channel I Dream. The TDP media group and organizational teams have been tracking the deliberate anti-TDP attitude of these channels for quite a while. Yet in the interest of media ethics, it tolerated them. Now, the TDP is keeping a distance from these media houses. Party insiders feel that this is long overdue.

However, few other channels, which are two-timing, have been omitted from the ban-list. Another channel, which is deliberately spewing venom on the TDP, has been left out. The TDP spokespersons and panelists continue to take part in the debates in these channels. Party insiders feel that it is about time that action should be taken against these channels too.

Sources say that the TDP is taking a serious view of the biased media. It feels that lack of objectivity should not be left unchallenged. Despite the respect and concern for the media freedom and journalistic rights, it strongly feels that biased media coverage is not a healthy trend.

TDP loyalists oppose Ravela’s re-entry attempts

0

He is currently in the BJP but is highly desperate to join the TDP. He has even met party chief Chandrababu Naidu and has requested to allow him to join the party. He is also using his friend and mentor Manda Krishna Madiga to use his influence to convince Chandrababu Naidu. He has offered to contest from Pathipadu constituency in Guntur, which currently does not have a proper leadership in the TDP.

No marks for guessing who the leader is. He is former minister and Dalit face Ravela Kishore Babu. He met Chandrababu during the recent public meeting held on the completion of the Amaravati farmers’ yatra. Ravela has been making a very serious bid to join the TDP and is meeting everyone who matters.

Ravela was largely unknown except in some Dalit circles till he was given the TDP ticket for Pattipadu in 2014. He had won and went on to become a minister. However, he soon landed in controversy over his relationship with a woman and has been removed from the ministry. Later, he joined Jana Sena , contested and lost in 2019 elections. Later, he joined the BJP. Now, he is trying to rejoin the TDP.

Meanwhile, there is strong opposition to the re-entry of Ravela Kishore Babu within the TDP. Several loyal workers are up in arms against his attempts to sneak into the TDP. Former IAS officer Ramanjaneyulu, senior leader Kandukuri Veeraiah and former ZP chief Kuchipudi Vijaya are vying for the Pattipadu ticket. They are strongly opposing Ravela’s plans to come into the TDP. The final decision is in the hands of Chandrababu Naidu.

Its Duvvada vs Perada in North Andhra YSRCP

0

The ruling YSRCP is fast becoming a haven for group fights and battles for supremacy. Already, intense groupism has marred the ruling party in Rayalaseema and Palnadu. Now, even in North Andhra, differences between leaders are threatening to weaken the party. The battle of one-upmanship between party leaders Duvvada Srinivas and Perada Tilak is blowing up into a full-scale war in Tekkali constituency of Srikakulam district.

As part of the efforts aimed at containing the influence of TDP MLA and party AP unit president Atchen Naidu, YS Jagan promoted both Duvvada and Perada in a significant way. Duvvada was made an MLC, while Perada was made the chairperson of the Kalinga Corporation. Instead of weakening Atchen Naidu, these two leaders are fighting among themselves.

Recently, the anti-Duvvada group held a meeting in Tekkali and demanded that Duvvada Srinivas be removed from the post of constituency incharge. It is an open secret that Perada Tilak is behind the meeting. Not to be outdone, the Duvvada group too met at Tekkali and took to social media to attack Perada Tilak. This group alleged that Atchen Naidu was behind the anti-Duvvada group.

The ruling party leaders are watching these developments with alarm. The party leadership is now said to be talking to both Duvvada and Perada groups. They want both the groups to bury their differences and work for the party. However, nobody seems to be listening.
