Telugu actor Vishnu Manchu’s daughters sing for his upcoming film ‘Ginna’

1

Announcing that his daughters Ariaana and Viviana had turned singers and that they had sung a song in his upcoming film “Ginna”, Telugu actor Vishnu Manchu on Wednesday said that the video of the song would release on July 24.

Taking to Instagram to make the announcement, the actor began his post with Tim Cahill’s quote: “A journey is best measured in friends, rather than miles.”

He then went on to say, “It has been quite some time that I wrote a note to everyone who has been a part of my journey as a person and as an actor. I believe every Telugu person has been my friend and partner in this exciting journey.

“I was born in the film industry and grew up on film sets, watching in awe the love and appreciation films received. I saw first-hand the unconditional love of millions of fans who loved my father and the humility my father had towards his fans.

“I have always wanted to be an actor. By the blessings of the almighty and love, support, and affection of the Telugu people, I was able to achieve my dream. Being an actor has not been an easy journey. It has been very tough and challenging. I have to deal with constant judgement from all corners such as ‘How I look?’ ‘How I dress?’ ‘How I behave?’…

“My entire life became public knowledge and constantly discussed, but I am aware it comes with its territory. It can be very tiring at times, but it has been worth it because of the love and adulation I get as an actor.

“I have always looked at every Telugu person as a member of my family. I don’t shy away from them. My life has always been an ‘open book.’ That is the reason why, when my children were born, I sought your blessings.

“Today, my children are seeking to scale newer heights and I seek your love and affection once again. As a father and as an actor, I am proud to introduce my two daughters – Ariaana and Viviana as singers and performers. In my upcoming movie ‘Ginna,’ they have sung a song for the world to hear. The video for the song will release on Sunday, July 24 at 11:13 A.M.

“I dreamt that they would become actors one day, but it’s not up to me, it is up to them which path they choose. I seek your blessings and best wishes for them as they start on a new journey of their own. Thank you all for always being there for me and can’t wait to see all your support… I’ll be watching.”

‘RRR’ choreographer Prem Rakshith comes on board for Vishnu Manchu’s next

0

After the phenomenal success of ‘Naatu Naatu’ from director S.S. Rajamouli’s epic ‘RRR’, choreographer Prem Rakshith will next be designing steps for Vishnu Manchu and Sunny Leone in director Eeshaan Surya’s upcoming Telugu film.

A source says, “The shooting of the movie is currently on in Hyderabad. The team this week will be canning a special dance number on Vishnu and Sunny at a specially built set in Ramoji Film City.”

The much-awaited film starring Vishnu alongside actress Payal Rajput is an action comedy entertainer, being directed by Eeshaan Surya. The movie features Sunny Leone in a key role.

The source also adds, “This film is designed to be a commercial entertainer and is gaining good buzz with every passing day. Besides the stardom of Vishnu, the film is going to have racy dance numbers.

“Earlier, they’d got Prabhu Deva to do a dance sequence and now Rakshith. The choreography is superlative. The actors will be training for a few days before the shoot commences.”

Prem Rakshith says, “It is an absolute joy to be working with Vishnu and Sunny. It’s a great song and we’ve had a blast creating the steps for it. It’s an energetic track and with their vibe, they will only elevate the dance number.”

The story has been written by G Nageshwar Reddy, who had earlier directed two blockbusters with Vishnu Manchu – ‘Dhenikaina Reddy’ and ‘Edo Rakam Ado Rakam’.

The story and screenplay have been penned by Kona Venkat, who’s also the creative producer of the film. Cinematographer Chota K Naidu is behind the lens while Anup Rubens is composing the pulsating music.

Vishnu Manchu’s meeting with AP CM raises eyebrows

1

Actor and Movie Artists Association (MAA) president Manchu Vishnu, who had recently met Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, has finally spoken up on their interactions on the issues being raised by the Tollywood film fraternity.

“I share a great rapport with Jagan Anna (brother). He is my wife Vinni’s closest cousin. I can meet him anytime, so I don’t know why this meeting has made it to the headlines,” Manchu Vishnu said.

The cold war between him and Chiranjeevi, his MAA rival, came to the forefront when the latter led a Tollywood delegation to meet the chief minister not long ago. Vishnu was upset that his father, the senior actor Mohan Babu, was not given a proper invitation for the meeting.

Chiranjeevi was accompanied by Prabhas, Mahesh Babu, S.S, Rajamouli, and others during the meeting with the chief minister on the issues agitating the industry. The Manchus were obviously upset because, despite his seniority in the industry, Mohan Babu wasn’t invited to the meeting.

Vishnu met the chief minister days after Chiranjeevi’s meeting, which led to renewed talk about the rivalry between the two.

The opposing camp has been pointing out that although Vishnu was elected MAA president in a contentious vote some months back, he had not taken any stand on the ticket pricing issue, which has been agitating Tollywood for quite a long time. Vishnu’s meeting with the chief minister has therefore assumed significance in the eyes of MAA watchers.

Gayatri Live Updates

Gayatri Movie Review

Mohan babu Gayathri Review

Final Report :

Gayatri story line is Okay but suffered from poor direction. Narration that suits current days would have made a lot difference to this film.

Dr. Mohanbabu did justice to both roles Shivaji & Gayatri Patel. Manchu Vishnu as Young Shivaji has done decent job. Shriya appeared for few scenes

All in all, with its poor first half and average second half GAYATRI film may find ‘some’ traction in B C centers and among Mohanbabu Fans.

9:52 AM Good wins over evil. The End of Gayatri ( Patel ) !

9:49 AM A fight between Sivaji & Gayatri Patel in jail !

9:41 AM Melodramatic climax is in progress

9:37 AM Gayatri Story is okay in second half. Contemporary narration would have helped a lot – Now , this old school narration may find only limited audience

9:30 AM As Gayatri Patel we can see glimpses of Mohanbabu’s Prime time. An item song too for this negative character

9:15 AM Gayatri Patel ( Mohanbabu ) entrance , his getup is good

9:13 AM After a friend backstabs sivaji was branded negative in public mind, flashback ends

9:05 AM As Tragedy hits sivaji , shriya couple story is in sentiment mode now !

9:03 AM “ Oka nuvvu Oka Nenu .. “ song shot on Vishnu and Shriya came out well ! Tune is also very good

8:59 AM‘ Dana Veera Soora Karna’ monologue by Vishnu is impressive. His diction adds weight this scene

8:54 AM Flashback Time :

Young sivaji role is played by Manchu Vishnu. Shriya plays female lead for young sivaji.

Interval report:

Gayatri is a cliched 1980’s story with amateurish direction. First half has no high moments , hoping for better second half !

8:38 AMKnowing that his daughter ( raised separately since childhood ) is perceiving him as a drunkard , Sivaji disappoints . Interval

8:38 AM Sivaji rescues a lady ( apparently his daughter ) and a big fight scene !

8:24 AM Anchor Anasuya plays a role of a Telivision Channel Journalist

8:23 AM Sivaji ( Mohanbabu ) takes on current day politicians , including AP CM in his typical modulation

A dig at CBN :
Naaku voteyyani vaallu Nenu ichina pensions teesukovadhu , nenu vesina roads meeda tiragodhu antaadu okadu

8:16 AM Being a stage actor Sivaji is capable of impersonating others. On one occassion , he helps minister ( Prudhvi ) by replacing him in Jail

8:03 AM Stage actor by profession , sivaji runs sarada sadan to help the needy

7:51 AM #Showtime Gayatri

Vishnu Manchu’s Tamil debut a political thriller

0

Popular Telugu actor Vishnu Manchu, known for being part of films such as “Dhee” and “Rowdy”, is making inroads into Tamil filmdom with upcoming bilingual political thriller “Kural 388”.

The film will also be shot in Telugu.

“The universal concept of the story will appeal to audiences across languages. Hence, we decided to make it as a bilingual. Vishnu is not completely alien to Tamil. When I suggested the idea that we make the film as a bilingual, he was more excited than me,” director G.S Karthik told IANS.

Talking about the film, Karthik said the story will delve more on the voter.

“We want to highlight that a voter is the most important person in a democracy. Unfortunately, he or she rarely gets the due respect. This forms the crux of the story,” he said.

The film’s title is built on the 388th Kural, which talks about everyday virtues of an individual.

“In Telugu, we have titled it Voter. We think ‘Kural 388’ will be a powerful Tamil title. We plan to go on the floors very soon,” he added.

Surbhi has been roped in as the leading lady.
