Actress Tanushree Dutta known to Telugu audience as heroine of Bala Krishna starrer “Veera Bhadra”. Her bollywood film “Ashik Banaya Apne” with Imran Hasmi was a big hit. During a TV interveiw, she made allegations on veteran actor Nana Patekar of harassing her during 2009 film “Horn Ok Pleassss”.
In an interview with a TV channel, Tanushree Dutta said that Nana harassed her during a film with him in 2008. She opened up on that then itself and informed media. She added, even though everyone the industry knew about Nana Patekar’s behaviour with women, no one spoke about it. She told, he has molested them, his behaviour with women has always been crude but no publication has printed anything about it.
Tanushree also told, in hollywood, “Me too” campaign started only recently but 10 years back itself she open up on such behavior. She also told, she didn’t get opportunities in the industry after she opened up on the harrassment incident. Tanushree’s comments went viral in social media. Nana patekar has actually responded on this in 2008 itself saying, she is giving misinformation. we will have to wait and see if he will respond again or choose to ignore.
