Tollywood’s top actor NTR Jr earlier clarified that he will never step into the shoes of his grandfather and legendary actor Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao. He made these comments before the release of NTR biopic in which Nandamuri Balakrishna essayed the lead role. When the makers of Thalaivi approached Balakrishna, the veteran actor showed no interest in the assignment after which the makers approached Tarak for the role.
Telugu360 learned that the actor straightaway rejected the offer explaining about his stand. He is not ready to reprise his grandfather on-screen. As of now, his focus stays completely on RRR which is under shoot. Vishnu Induri who co-produced NTR biopic is now producing Thalaivi, the biopic of Jayalalithaa. NTR played a crucial role in her filmy career and hence the makers are in plans to rope in Balakrishna or Tarak for the role. With the latest developments, we have to wait to see whom will the makers finalize to reprise NTR on screen.
AL Vijay is the director and Bollywood beauty Kangana Ranaut is playing the lead role. The film starts rolling next month and will be shot simultaneously in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi languages.
