Arjun Reddy fame Vijay Devarakonda is ready with his new film Taxiwaala, a science fiction thriller based on true events.
Ahead of its release this May, the makers have unveiled a 5 minute promotional video ‘ The Dream behind Taxiwaala’ today morning.
The promo is a fun-filled video featuring a bunch of frisky kids who hound Vijay Devarakonda with a series of playful tasks as they missed out on watching his cult classic Arjun Reddy because it was labelled as an adult movie.
The promo is shot by recreating some of the popular scenes from Arjun Reddy as Vijay is seen reprising his mannerisms on a lighter note. Cut to the chase, he sheds his bold Arjun Reddy makeover and takes the kids on a fun ride.
The idea of this promo is to promote that Taxiwaala is a film that cuts across all age groups and can be watched with families.
Directed by Rahul Sankrityan, the film has Malavika Nair as the female lead. GA2 and UV Creations have jointly bankrolled the film.
