TDP seeks KCR to Officially observe NTR’s death anniversary

Indicating that the days of confrontation was a past, the Telangana Telugu Desam Party leaders are trying to reach Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao invoking the mutual emotional bondage towards party’s founder N T Rama Rao. Party’s Telangana Working President A Revanth Reddy, who is known as a `fire brand’ critic of the Chief Minister KCR, now appealing him positively seeking to observe the 21st death anniversary of legendary film actor NT Rama Rao, on January 18, officially.

He recalled that KCR always says he is an ardent follower and fan of NTR. He made the same statement when he was giving Muhurath clap to NTR’s son and TDP MLA Nandamuri balakrishna’s recently released Telugu movie `Gauthami Putra Satakarni’. Moreover, KCR has named his son after NTR. Recollecting KCR’s emotional attachment with NTR, Revanth Reddy requested the Chief Minister to observe the death anniversary of NTR officially.

Meanwhile, Andhra Pradesh chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu’s wife Bhuvaneswari said that NTR Trust will organise ‘Legendary Blood Donation Drive’ in memory of her father NTR on Jan 18. She is one of the trustees of the NTR Trust.

She said that the Legendary Blood Donation Drive was started last year as a flagship event by the NTR Trust to promote voluntary blood donation across the twin Telugu states. The drive was conducted at 145 locations across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana last year.

“We are trying to expand the scale of blood donation drive this year to bring awareness about voluntary blood donation across the spectrum of the society,” she added. Apart from NTR Trust, Blood Banks of Red Cross, Rotary Club, Lions Club, Chiranjeevi Blood Bank and government Blood Banks will also participate in this campaign.

While, TDP’s national general secretary Nara Lokesh inaugurates this event in Vijayawada at Sidhartha Management Collge, Bhuvaneswari and her daughter-in-law Brahmini will inaugurates in Hyderabad.
