Anantapur: TDP MP from Anantapur JC Diwakar Reddy has once hogged headlines with his statements which are likely to spark controversy. The MP said that India should declare war against Pakistan following militant attack on Army camp in Uri, Jammu and Kashmir, which claimed 20 lives of soldiers on Sunday morning.

Speaking to media persons in Anantapur, Diwakar Reddy said ‘Akhanda Bharat’ rule should be imposed by annexing the whole territory of Pakistan.

“It is not all a matter of concern if 10 crore Indians loose their lives in the battle, war should be waged with Pakistan,” he retorted, expressing anger over the way the militants killed Indian soldiers.

India would have been a progressive nation, even if small part of the Army budget was spent on irrigation, roads and other infrastructure, he opined. He further said though the country is spending a huge money on the Army, the country could not save young lives of the soldiers.

Diwakar Reddy said that rivalry between both the nations of Indian and Pakistan would not die down even after the next two hundred years and people continue to suffer until the earth exists. “Rather fearing for our lives every minute, it is better we wage war against Pakistan,” he said.

With the money being spent on the Army, the government can provide irrigated water to every inch of the agriculture land in the country, he observed.

Blaming the former statesmen of the country for not having foresight, Diwakar Reddy said that separate Pakistan was carved out by the leaders fearing that 20,000 people might get killed if it is not divided. “The present situation in the country is the outcome of their mistake,” he pointed out.

He further alleged that the UPA government had divided Andhra Pradesh state by throwing a deaf ear on Seemandhra people’s pleas. He suggested the Centre to spend the special package money of Rs 2 lakh crore on waging war with Pakistan.
