Suriya scored two massive hits with the Singam franchise and both the films have been racy cop dramas. The lead antagonists have equal role and they have been highly challenging throughout the movie. Prakashraj who played the villain’s role in the first two instalments will not be a part of the third instalment Singam 3. After an extensive search, the makers zeroed Thakur Anoop Singh, a stylish model for the role. Though the makers initially wanted a Hollywood actor, the director Hari has been completely impressed with Thakur’s look.
Thakur is making his debut in Kollywood with the film and he is also working for Puri Jagannadh’s Rogue. Singam 3 is in final stages of shoot and the climax of the film will be shoot soon with which the entire shoot will be wrapped up. Anushka and Shruti Haasan are the female leads in the movie and Suriya is producing Singam 3 on 2D Entertainments banner. The movie will hit the screens during Diwali this year.
