V Vijayendra Prasad is one of the most renowned writers of Telugu cinema. All the scripts directed by SS Rajamouli have been penned by his father Vijayendra Prasad. Now he is all set to make his debut in Tamil. Young actor Karthi gave his nod for a script narrated by Vijayendra Prasad. The film has been titled Vel Vel Vetrivel.
The film is said to have a periodic touch with a contemporary story. Lawrence was roped in to play the lead role in this project initially, he got replaced with Karthi recently. Mahadev will direct the film and the regular shoot will commence early next year. Karthi is waiting for the release of his next film Dev which is slated for Republic Day 2019 release.
