Hyderabad: Battle for 12 biennial election for 12 seats in Telangana Legislative Assembly is heating up with parties trying to outsmart one another, and accusing each other engaging in horse trading and betrayals.

Showing its cards ahead of all others the ruling TRS has announced names of seven of its candidates to contest from Nizamabad, Medak, Adilabad, Karimnagar, Nalgonda, and expected to come out with other contestants for the reaming five seats in a day or two. Expressing confidence that his party would capture all the 12 MLC seats for which elections are to be held on December 27, TRS Secretary General K Kesava Rao, however denied that his party is keeping in touch with any other parties for poll pact.
