Uttar Pradesh is a hot bed of politics for all parties and leaders in the country. Seeing its importance, Rahul Gandhi appointed his sister Priyanka Gandhi the general secretary of eastern UP in order to give a tough fight to the BJP. This is not taken kindly by the BJP leaders there as they are targetting her at every small opportunity. The other day, posters came up in Patna in Bihar describing Rahul as Lord Rama to indicate the Congress victory in coming election.
This has made BJP MLA Surendra Singh in UP very angry. He went to give his own interpretation of things since then. He says if the coming poll is an epic like battle like the Ramayana, it is PM Modi who is indeed Lord Rama. To provoke Rama into the battle, it is Rahul who has sent his sister Priyanka who will have to play the role of Surpanaka here. But ultimately Modi will get the support from all the peoples and he will the great war.
The BJP MLA is not stopping at this and he goes on cursing the Congress non-stop. Rival leaders say this is no doubt a lot of free entertainment. The BJP has lost its patience especially in UP where it is fighting a losing battle with the rival parties mounting a united war to defeat the Modi-Shah duo. Greater and much nastier showdowns between UP politicians is on the cards this time.
