Powerstar Pawan Kalyan’s Ustaad Bhagat Singh was initially planned for March 26th release but it is now getting preponed by a week after Toxic is postponed to June. Ustaad Bhagat Singh will head for a clash with Dhurandhar: The Revenge. But why did the makers decide to prepone the film?
A bunch of holidays like Ugadi and Ramzan fall during the March 19th weekend. It is a long weekend and Ustaad Bhagat Singh will have a great advantage. Yes, there would be some impact because of Dhurandhar: The Revenge release. But Pawan Kalyan’s stardom will dominate Dhurandhar: The Revenge in the Telugu states for sure. The numbers will be impacted in Nizam and overseas because of the clash but Ustaad Bhagat Singh will have a long weekend advantage.
The makers spoke with their buyers and everyone voted for the March 19th release. There would be sharing of multiplex screens in Hyderabad and Ustaad Bhagat Singh will get lesser count than a usual solo release. Dhurandhar: The Revenge will have a sequel advantage and the film will get a decent number of shows and screens in Nizam and overseas. In Andhra region, the impact of Dhurandhar: The Revenge will be minimal and it would be the complete show of Ustaad Bhagat Singh.
