YCP rebel leader Vangaveeti Radha made an emotional appeal to AP CM Chandrababu Naidu to take steps to fulfill the wishes of his father Ranga. During his lifetime, Ranga fought within the then Congress party for the rights of poor families on housing facilities and pattas in Vijayawada city and surroundings. Now Radha wanted the TDP government to take care of those poor families and their residential needs.
Radha said his father has got fans and followers spread over all parties including the ruling TDP and it was some individuals not the TDP who were responsible for Ranga’s murder. Radha tried to give a clean chit to the TDP in the murder. He asserted he never looked at any particular party but he only believed in following the true ideals and objectives for which his father Ranga fought during his lifetime.
Radha said Jaganmohan Reddy has no respect any party leader in YSRCP and not even the MLAs. What is there for me to achieve or accomplish in such a party when its leader doesn’t give respect to his own MLAs? asked Radha. The resignation of Radha from YCP and his anti-Jagan statements afterwards raised a political storm. YCP leaders just dismissed him as an innocent caught in the trap of Chandrababu Naidu.
