Victory Venkatesh is currently working for a funny cop drama titled Babu Bangaram in the direction of Maruthi. The shooting is progressing at a brisk pace in Hyderabad and Nayanatara is the female lead in the film. Venkatesh, who took a long gap post Gopala Gopala, has also agreed to work with Kranthi Madhav very soon.
In the meantime, Telugu360 caught up with an interesting news regarding the Telugu remake of bilingual sports drama Saala Khadoos. It is learnt that Venkatesh is keen on playing the lead role in the Telugu version. Sources close to Venkatesh revealed that he was impressed with the film and is looking to acquire the Telugu rights.
Sudha Kongara Prasad who directed the Hindi Tamil bilingual is also keen to direct the Telugu version. Madhavan and Rithika Singh are playing the lead roles in the film which is about a boxing coach and his student. The film is all set for a grand release today.
