It seems films with sports backdrop are slowly gaining momentum in Tollywood. Recently, Nani signed a film titled as Jersey in which he is going to be seen as an aged cricketer. Now, it is learnt that Vijay Devarakonda’s upcoming film Dear Comrade is also a film in sports genre.
Reportedly, the story of Dear Comrade will revolve around Cricket and Vijay’s Geetha Govindham heroine Rashmika Mandanna will be seen as a cricketer on the film. Rashmika is already prepping up for her role. Vijay’s role has been highly guarded as of now.
The regular shooting has kicked off recently and Bharat Kamma is making his directional debut with this film.
