Ram Charan’s recent outing Vinaya Vidheya Rama released on January 11th and it has been badly rejected by the audience. Boyapati Sreenu is the director and Kiara Advani is the female lead. The Tollywood circles have been left shell shocked with the film’s run in overseas circles. The overseas distributor paid Rs 6.70 crores for the movie and the film’s producer Danayya returned back Rs 80 lakhs to the distributor.
The USA distribution rights of Vinaya Vidheya Rama costed Rs 5.90 crores plus the prints and publicity costs. The Gulf rights are sold for Rs 60 lakhs and the Australian theatrical rights have been acquired for Rs 60 lakhs. Still the buyers are expected to lose Rs 5 crores for Vinaya Vidheya Rama which is huge. The film will end up as one of the biggest disasters of Telugu cinema in the recent times.
