Vow for 2019: TDP against Modi as PM

Seething with anger, TDP leaders are now swearing and vowing to work for the sole purpose of dethroning Narendra Modi and preventing from getting re-elected as Prime Minister for the second consecutive term in 2019 general elections.

TDP MP Galla Jayadev emphatically said their party would closely work with all those parties at national level that were determined to defeat BJP and thereby spoil Modi’s bid for a second term.

Jayadev observed that AP people would suffer more in coming years and there would be no scope for development and irrigation projects in the new state, if Modi becomes PM once again in the country.

He said that they would work for forming a strong alliance with all smaller and bigger anti-Modi parties under the instructions of Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and keeping in view the need for protecting the interests of future generations of AP state.

TDP MLC Buddha Venkanna said Friday’s Income Tax raids were conducted at the orders of BJP leaders and the raids were mainly aimed at TDP-affiliated industrialists and leaders like Beeda Masthan Rao and Pothula Rama Rao and others.

Venkanna said that BJP was conspiring against AP state as a whole considering the fact that it was sending IT and ED officials to create a fear psychosis so as to disturb the positive investment climate created in the new state by Chandrababu Naidu.

TDP MP Konakalla Narayana said that their party would hit back strongly at BJP for conducting IT raids and that they would make all efforts to form a viable and stable alternative to Modi’s leadership at the Centre.
