Some time back, CBI former Joint Director VV Laxminarayana is announced that he will be plunging into direct politics. He also undertook state wide tour and interacted with farmers. However, now even after EC announcement of election schedule, he is not seen anywhere.
Initially he told that he will float his own political party Jana Dwhani, but later Laxminarayana has withdrawn his decision to form any new party. There were also news about him joining Lok Satta and heading that party. But that was also not materialized. There were also other rumors about him joining Janasena and contesting from Rajampeta MP constituency.
But his disappearance from the political screen is really surprising to many. Telugu media also focused him only as long as there were reports about him either joining TDP directly or supporting TDP after forming his own new party or at least he taking over Lok Satta. When none of these three options materialized, media completely forgot him and he is also not seen active anywhere after the completion of his tour.
We will have to wait and see if he really participate in direct elections this time or not.
