BJP party, who gave assurance of special category status to AP, never bothered about that assurance after coming to power. Vizag railway zone, and several other promises by Modi are yet to be implemented. But still there have been rumours that Jagan and Pawan are planning to meet Modi soon.
As per the rumours circulating in YSRCP circles, Jagan is going to meet Modi soon. These rumors are coming at the moment when relations between TDP and BJP going through a rough patch. YSRCP circles are saying that this meet will happen on a Friday so that Jagan can start to Delhi after his court session on Friday. It is known news that Jagan gave open offer to Modi to ally with BJP. Though he put a condition that – it will happen only if BJP gives special category status, but analysts say, if BJP shows willingness to all Jagan, he may not pressurize on SCS status but he may request for “another” assurance from Modi. There are 2 reasons for that – one is, there is more probability of Modi coming into power again so, whatever allies with him will share power at center. So, even if they lose power at state, they need not worry about existence of the party. Second reason is, obviously, the cases on Jagan.
On the other hand, Pawan Kalyan recently told, he will soon present a report to Modi soon. He told this repeatedly in his recent meetings. So, some started guessing whether Pawan already had an appointment with Modi, especially because of Narasimhan’s private meeting with Pawan.
So, we will have to wait and see who will be meeting Modi first.
