As elections approaching fast, many politicians are defecting from one party to join the other , based on which party is assuring them of good prospects. Recently TDP MLA Amanchi Krishna Mohan and TDP MP Avanthi Srinivas quit TDP and joined YSRCP. Now the latest rumours in political circles is that YSRCP leaders are trying hard to pull Andhra Pradesh minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao into their party.
As per these reports, Vijaya sai Reddy is specifically assigned the task of bringing in Ganta srinivasa Rao into the party. As per the same reports , both of them already had a round of discussions. At this moment Ganta not yet decided about quitting TDP but YSRCP leaders are persuading him. However observers are wondering if Ganta srinivasa Rao joins YSRCP, he may not get chance to contest from Bheemili constituency as Jagan already assured the seat to Avanthi Srinivas.
When Chandrababu Naidu encouraged defections from YSR CP into TDP, Jagan commented that Chandrababu Naidu is doing so because TDP is very weak. But now Jagan is also pulling the leaders of TDP and if one goes by the same logic of Jagan, YSR CP must be weak now, observers say. We will have to wait and see whether Ganta srinivasa Rao will really join YSRCP.
