Sensational director Shankar is working round the clock on his next film titled 2.0. Superstar Rajinikanth, Akshay Kumar and Amy Jackson are the lead actors in the film which completed the principle shoot sometime ago. However the release of the film has been pushed further as there has been delay in the VFX work. 2.0 is now slated for April release during Tamil New Year and an official announcement is awaited. There have been wide speculations that the run time of 2.0 has been locked and it will last for 100 minutes.
The makers along with the unit has been left in shock with the rumour as the post-production work of the film is still on. Shankar is busy finalizing the VFX shots and the editing process has not been wrapped up. Once Shankar gets the entire VFX content, the first copy of 2.0 will get ready and the necessary changes will be made. The makers are expected to get a clarity on the run time by March and a source from the movie unit trashed the rumours. Bankrolled by Lyca Productions, 2.0 is made on a massive budget of Rs 450 crores.
