Superstar Mahesh Babu unveiled his prestigious Madame Tussauds wax idol in AMB Cinemas today at 11 AM. The wax idol was flown from Singapore to India as Mahesh Babu was occupied with work and could not fly to Singapore due to his professional commitments. The actor thanked the team of Madame Tussauds for the gesture and respect shown towards him. The team of Madame Tussauds approached Mahesh Babu a year ago after which the deal has been inked.
A team of 20 sculptures worked for over six months to shape out the wax idol which thrilled all the visitors today as it looked perfect and exactly like Mahesh Babu. Right from his skin complexion, hair color, teeth and the nails, all the minute details of Mahesh Babu have been collected before going ahead. The actor called it a moment to cherish and will stay for the rest of his life.
Mahesh’s wife Namrata joked saying that she has two handsome husbands. Over 300 fans are selected through various events and will have a chance to click selfies with the wax idol of Mahesh Babu. The wax idol will be flown back to Singapore this evening.
