Anil Ravipudi shot to fame after the commercial success of Kalyan Ram’s Pataas which released last year. The film not only gave Kalyan Ram a much needed break, but also made Anil Ravipudi one of the most sought after commercial directors in Tollywood at present. His next film Supreme, yet another masala entertainer, is ready for release today.
Speaking about his next project, Anil Ravipudi revealed that he will soon work on the script for Balakrishna’s film. Sometime back, he approached Balakrishna with a political subject and got the go ahead signal. While he was about to start his work on the complete draft, he bagged the offer to direct ‘Supreme’ and got busy with its filming.
So, he will now shift focus on the script for Balakrishna’s film and will meet the actor once he is ready with the final draft. He has already fixed ‘Ramarao Garu’ title for the film. If everything goes as planned, the young director is not far from bagging a golden opportunity of directing Balakrishna.
