TV9 has been arranging sessions on daily basis to increase awareness on Special status among people. Some other channels like MAHAA TV also treading the same path. In one of the session by TV9, BJP followers attacked Sivaji after Sivaji came heavily on BJP government at center.
This incident took place at the meeting organised by the TV9 for the AP special status in Vijayawada. After Sivaji made scathing comments on Modi government, BJP workers interfered and pushed Sivaji. However, this is not the first time Sivaji being chased by BJP workers. Couple of years ago, when he started attacking BJP government, BJP workers tried to break into the hotel room where Sivaji was staying. However, he escaped at that time.
Nobody understands what BJP workers or BJP party will get from such attacks. It only does more damage to the party and Modi government. In Karnataka also BJP government lost because of two reasons in 2013. First is corruption by BJP leaders (like Gali Janardhan Reddy and Yadyurappa governments) and second is the overaction by BJP workers and wokers of other BJP associated divisions. Bhajarang Dal and other such organizations used to attack pubs, attack lovers on valentines day. Such attacks only defamed their own party.
BJP workers have every right to differentiate with others and express their opinion but not to attack any one. Will BJP workers in Andhra understand this?
