Star hero Nandamuri Balakrishna promised to do a film for producer C. Kalyan after Jai Simha. Director VV Vinayak, who bagged an embarrassing disaster with Intelligent, was supposed to team up with Balakrishna for this project. An announcement was made earlier this year and there were reports that the project will be officially launched on NBK’s birthday. However, the project didn’t take off beyond discussion stages.
Reportedly, Balakrishna was not totally convinced with the scripts narrated by Vinayak and gave him ample time to come up with a water tight story that suits his age. Despite repeated attempts, Vinayak couldn’t get the nod from Balayya. So, reports suggest that the NBK – VV Vinayak combination might not happen anytime soon as expected.
Balakrishna is currently working on NTR biopic and has lined up Boyapati Srinu and Anil Ravipudi. On the other side, he is gearing up for next assembly elections. So, he is having a packed schedule till 2020. Unless Vinayak pens a suitable script, the project might be shelved and C. Kalyan might need to wait longer to produce Balakrishna’s film.
