The talented actress Anushka had a dream run with the role of warrior princess Devasena in Baahubali:The Conclusion and now geared up with another challenging project Bhaagamathie next. The film’s teaser is already gaining much popularity and interest. About the film’s theme, many interesting speculations are propping up. Some people are terming it to be a horror thriller resembling Anushka’s earlier film Arundhati or an out and out thriller.
But as per the latest sources, Bhaagamathie is touted to be a political thriller- which would bring the shocks! However, the director has linked the political outlook story to a story which happened 500 years ago. We will be witnessing two roles – one being 500 years ago and one contemporary role which will be played by Anushka herself.
A pivotal sequence in the film is situated in a fort and it is a key factor for the script. What is the link between this mysterious location and the main story is what making everyone even more interested. Bhaagamathie is made on a powerful budget of 40 crore and nearly two crores is allotted for the promotional work alone. The makers are planning to release the film on 26th Jan 2018 on the eve of Republic Day.
