Young director Rahul Ravindran, who made debut with Chi Laa Sow, bagged the golden opportunity to direct Nagarjuna in his second film. The story is said to be on the lines of Nagarjuna’s iconic hit Manmadhudu.

It is a known fact that Manmadhudu largely benefited from witty and trenchant dialogues penned by Trivikram Srinivas. The combination of director Vijay Bhaskar and writer Trivikram proved to be a defining factor for Manmadhudu and Nagarjuna’s flawless screen presence came in handy to make the film a big hit in those days.

Reportedly, Nagarjuna has asked Rahul to ensure that there is good dose of humour like that in Manmadhudu. He told him to come up full length comedy episodes in the film that will cut across family audience. Rahul is currently busy giving finishing touches to the script. It remains to be seen if he can handle it alone without the aid of Trivikram Srinivas. He has his task cut out to match the high expectations that have already been formed in Akkineni fans as the film is tentatively titled as Manmadhudu 2.
