TDP senior leader Sama Ranga Reddy has long been working hard in LB Nagar assembly segment in Hyderabad city limits. He is expecting ticket from Mahakutami till recently. But all of a sudden, Congress has not allotted LB Nagar seat to TDP as part of seat sharing. Instead, TDP is given Ibrahimpatnam seat and party leaders has asked Sama Ranga Reddy to contest from Ibrahimpatnam.
Following this, the followers and election managers of Ranga Reddy are caught in utter confusion as they know not how to go forward. Till now, they have worked closely developing TDP cadres in every colony and street. If he has to go to Ibrahimpatnam, Ranga Reddy would have to start afresh and he would also have to rely totally on Congress leaders there.
Ranga Reddy has been asking whether leaders like Malreddy Ranga Reddy would give their wholehearted support to his nomination. In the face of such concerns, Sama Ranga Reddy met Chandrababu Naidu and stressed the need for taking LB Nagar instead of Ibrahimpatnam.
On his part, CBN has told Ranga Reddy to understand the compulsions of Mahakutami alliance. Naidu assured Sama Ranga Reddy of all support from TDP to secure victory for him from Ibrahimpantam. Left with no immediate option, Ranga Reddy just appealed to the party chief to consider change of seat if there is any small opportunity.
