AP CM Chandrababu Naidu who is currently in Delhi tour is taking the national capital by storm. His action plans in Delhi are surely suffocating the BJP party. In his latest move, Chandrababu Naidu invited the national media, and telecasted them a video of ‘Modi’s promises to AP’. He further explained the crisis being faced by AP.
‘Before 2014 General Elections, PM Modi promised Andhra Pradesh Special Category Status (SCS). Once BJP came to power, and Modi became the PM, they have ignored Andhra Pradesh. Soon, the SCS was replaced by Special Package. Modi also promised that he would develop Amaravati into a world-class capital city.
We have been patiently waiting for the last 2 ½ years with a hope that the Centre will grant SCS to AP. Nothing has happened. The Centre has completely ignored the state, due which I had even written a letter to the PM office. Even now, the Centre is asking us to come up Special Purpose Vehicle. Given the Centre’s approach towards Andhra Pradesh, more than 5 crore people are suffering’ said Chandrababu.
Political analysts believe that Chandrababu’s offensive strategy is harming the BJP to a great extent.
