The Vijayawada court directed the police to arrest controversial director Ram Gopal Varma and producer Dasari Kiran Kumar related to the Vangaveeti movie case.
Vangaveeti Radha Krishna raised objections regarding the biopic of his father Vangaveeti Mohana Ranga who was killed in gang wars of Vijayawada during 1988.
Even though Varma met Radha Krishna and his mother ahead of the release but the discussions did not go off well. Nonetheless, the maverick ignored their objections and allegedly distorted the facts in the film ultimately insulting Vangaveeti family.
Radha Krishna knocked the doors of the court as they alleged that the movie is filled with half-truths and does not depict the actual character of Mohana Ranga.
The court ordered the police to register FIR and arrest director Varma and producer Kiran Kumar.
