Young music sensation Devi Sri Prasad has been lined up with interesting films in Telugu. However the ace music composer has even been focussed on Tamil films and he has been quite selective. The latest update says that Devi Sri Prasad has been locked to compose the music for Vikram’s upcoming movie Saamy 2 which will be directed by Hari. Though it was Harris Jayraj who was initially considered as the music director, now DSP has been locked for the project.
The film is a sequel for 2003 super hit film Saamy in which Vikram has been presented as a ruthless cop. Keerthy Suresh will play the female lead and Trisha will be seen in a crucial role. The regular shoot of the film will start from July this year once Vikram wraps up his current commitments. Shibu Thameens will produce Saamy 2 on Thameens Films banner.
