Superstar Mahesh Babu is on a roll and is shooting for Vamshi’s Paidipally’s Maharshi which has been slated for April 2019 release. The actor signed a film for Sukumar after a thunderous hit like Rangasthalam. Mythri Movie Makers will bankroll this prestigious project. Sukumar along with his team have been working on the script from the past few months. Though he narrated couple of lines, Mahesh wasn’t excited about them and wanted Sukumar to come up with an innovative plot.

Three immensely talented associates of Sukumar who are strong in scripting walked out of his team and are all set to turn directors soon. This is a huge dent for the top director however he is working on couple of lines. Sukumar even shifted focus on production and inked interesting deals with Mythri Movie Makers and a film with Allu Arjun’s new production house. This is said to have delayed his work for Mahesh’s film.

Mahesh on the flip side is in hunt for young and talented directors who can wrap films in quick successions. With NTR and Ram Charan locked for Rajamouli’s project, the duo will not be available for the next two years. With no stiff competition from the top league, Mahesh in this gap is keen on doing two back to back films before he starts working for Rajamouli’s film in 2020.

Mahesh is rethinking about Sukumar’s film as it will take longer to complete. The actor is keen on taking a call after listening to the bound script. For Sukumar, finalizing a line and penning the bound script will take 6-8 months and he needs a year for shoot. In this while, Mahesh can wrap up two films which will prove his box-office potential before he starts shooting for SS Rajamouli’s film. Hence the actor is in rethinking mode and is in hunt for the right options.
