A famous film studio on the verge of decay has been brought back to life, with fresh capital infusion and modern facilities.
We are talking about the famous Saradhi Studios complex in Ameerpet. Anyone who has been to the studios in recent years will tell you about the run down conditions and the general atmosphere of decay. Though it was one of the earliest studios to set up shop in Hyderabad, it has been surpassed by other studios like Annapurna, Ramanaidu and Ramoji Film City.
But this venerable studio has now received a new lease of life. The management team has decided to infuse funds and upgrade the facilities to meet modern standards. The relaunched studio was dedicated to the service of the film industry today at a function that was attended by veteran directors like K.Raghavendra Rao, Dasari Narayana Rao, K. Vishwanath, Relangi Narasimha Rao, Sana Yadireddy etc.
It is good to see a renowned studio getting the polish that it so badly needed.
