NTR starrer Jai Lava Kusa, which has him playing a triple role, took a terrific start at the domestic box office despite a Wednesday release. In overseas too, the film opened on a strong note by registering career best premiers for NTR. Including Thursday haul, Jai Lava Kusa notched up a solid $734K and set for a strong weekend run.
Extending its strong run in overseas, the emotional triplet saga has collected more than 260 K on Friday ( counting) and touched the million dollar mark in style. This is the 5th million dollar film for NTR in overseas. Also, NTR now shares a rare distinction of having four consecutive million dollar films in overseas along with Mahesh Babu. NTR’s Temper , Nannaku Prematho and Janatha Garage completed a hat trick of Million dollars films for him and now Jai Lava Kusa joined the elite list.
Trade circles are expecting a solid weekend for Jai Lava Kusa. Despite few narrative shortcomings, NTR’s acting masterclass has resulted in good word of mouth and reflecting the strong collections in all areas.
