AICC President Rahul Gandhi expressed his solidarity to the ongoing deeksha protest by AP CM N Chandrababu Naidu at AP Bhavan in Delhi. Rahul blamed PM Modi for the present pitiable condition of AP because of lack of any support to the ailing state due to non fulfillment of bifurcation promises. Rahul asked Modi why he was not able to list out demands that he had fulfilled to AP state.

Rahul further asked the PM whether he considers Andhra as not a part of India which is why no steps are being taken to meet the requirements of AP Reorganisation Act. The AICC president clarified that the former Congress government made many provisions for faster development of AP with special status and other promises but it is Modi who has turned a blind eye to the cause of implementing those aspects.

Rahul appealed to the people of India to reject Modi as he is telling all lies wherever he goes. There is a strong sentiment building up among the people now against the Modi government and this people’s sentiment will eventually lead to the defeat and dismissal of the BJP government in the coming general election. Rahul accused Modi of plundering AP’s money to feed Anil Ambani.
