Naidu gets letter, not invitation for Modi meet

In a surprise development, Union Minister for Tourism and Culture G Kishan Reddy had sent a letter to former chief minister, TDP president and Leader of Opposition N Chandrababu Naidu. The minister did not invite Chandrababu Naidu for the meeting to be held at Bhimavaram in West Godavari district in which Prime Minister Narendra Modi would be participating on July 4.

The letter tried to communicate to Chandrababu Naidu about the celebration of the 125th birth anniversary of revolutionary freedom fighter Alluri Sitarama Raju all through the year. It also had a mention of the unveiling of the statue of Sitarama Raju at Bhimavaram by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The letter further said that the 125th birth anniversary of Sitarama Raju would be celebrated all through the year jointly by the Union Ministry of Tourism and Culture along with AP Government’s Ministry of Tourism.

However, instead of requesting Chandrababu Naidu to participate in the celebrations, Union Minister for Tourism and Culture G Kishan Reddy had asked him to depute one of his representatives to be present in the meeting at Bhimavaram on July 4. It also wanted Chandrababu Naidu and TDP support in the year-long birth anniversary celebrations of Alluri.

The BJP justified the letter stating that it was sent to the TDP chief as Leader of Opposition in AP government and not as former chief minister or the TDP chief. BJP AP general secretary Vishnuvardhan Reddy justified the Central government’s letter on the ground that official invitations were sent to the people who are part of the State and the Central governments.

An invitation was sent to K Chiranjeevi as he was the minister for tourism and culture at the Centre in the past. However, no such invitation was sent so far to Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan, though he is part of the BJP-led alliance in Andhra Pradesh.

Naidu decries ‘midnight arrests’ of Jagan critics

TDP president and former Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Thursday slammed the Jagan Reddy Government for making ‘midnight arrests’ of those who questioned its ruthless policies.

Naidu questioned the rationale and legality behind the AP police jumping over compound walls, breaking house locks with ‘gunapam’ (a digging bar) and taking away individuals from their homes.

In a tweet here, the TDP chief condemned the manner in which the police made midnight attacks to arrest Venkatesh, an ordinary youtube channel operator at Dharanikota village in Amaravati mandal. Another person Sambasiva Rao was also arrested illegally.

Naidu said that the AP police were strangely following a ‘dacoit culture’ of stealthily entering into houses during midnight hours only to pick up people unlawfully. It was not a crime to criticise the Government on social media. But, breaking electric bulbs and disturbing people in midnight hours were indeed a crime on the part of the police.

Chandrababu Naidu demanded the police to explain whther the social media activists were terrorists or murderers. Some police were degrading to any extent in order to get favours from the powers-that-be in the Government. Such officers would certainly face serious consequences for their omissions.

Naidu demanded that the police immediately release Venkatesh and Sambasiva Rao from their illegal custody. The police officers should explain to the public for all their excesses despite strictures passed by the courts many times.

Naidu urges Shekhawat to speed up Polavaram

TDP president and former Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Wednesday urged Union Jal Shakti Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat to take necessary steps to complete Polavaram, AP’s multi-purpose irrigation project, at the earliest.

In a letter to Jal Shakti Minister here, Naidu underscored the importance of Polavaram as a life-line project for the farmers of the State and for its vital role in the inter-linking of rivers as a whole.

The TDP chief expressed concern that the unilateral decisions of the YSRCP Government have caused severe harm to Polavaram. The inordinate delay and faulty execution by the State Government had dealt a serious blow to the project technologically.

Naidu told Shekhawat how the Jagan Reddy-led AP Government had gone to the extent of defying warnings of the Centre as well as the Polavaram Project Authority (PPA) in the past three years. The previous TDP regime took proper decisions and completed 71 per cent Polavaram works with active support from the Union Government.

Chandrababu Naidu deplored that the inefficient YCP Government had thrown Polavaram into danger altogether. After the 2014 bifurcation, the Indian Government had given all support for constructing Polavaram as a national project as per the Reorganisation Act. Seven mandals were transferred to AP as per the Central ordinance in 2014 itself.

Expressing serious concern, Naidu told the Jal Shakti Minister that as the former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, he was greatly alarmed over the harm being done to the State’s life line, multipurpose project. The Centre should resolve these hurdles as early as possible so as to complete the project without further delay.

Naidu said that ever since coming to power, the YCP regime was taking decisions out of selfish, vested interests. On the first day on June 1, 2019, itself, the YCP Government decided to change the contractor of Polavaram works. This was despite the fact that this contract was approved by the Central organisations.

Chandrababu Naidu recalled how Polavaram works were given to another agency in the name of reverse tendering in November, 2019. It took six months for the new agency to restart work on the project. The Government did not operate the project well in the process of changing contractors. As a result, the diaphragm wall has been washed away.

The TDP chief asserted that the diaphragm was actually constructed by a renowned agency at a depth of 40 metres to 100 metres and in a record time. The PPA had also told the State Government that there was no need to change the contractor considering smooth going of works at that time.

Naidu told Shekhawat that the PPA had forewarned the YCP Government that change of contractor would cause increased financial burden besides extreme delay that would threaten the overall project itself. Still, the AP regime went ahead and issued a tender notice in August, 2019. As a result of such motivated decisions, Polavaram fell into uncertainty even as the crucial diaphragm was eventually washed away.

Naidu says Jagan has no moral right to sell Amaravati lands

TDP president and former Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Monday accused the Jagan Reddy Government of punishing the people with ‘ulterior welfare cuts’ on one side and ‘unbearable tax burdens’ on the other.

Naidu asked whether the YSRCP Government had any moral right to sell lands in Amaravati when it did not make any effort to construct the Capital City for the State.

Addressing the party strategy committee at the party office in Mangalagiri, the TDP chief said that the ruling YSRCP could not increase its vote share in Atmakur by-poll though it had distributed lots of money. In the last three years, the Jagan Government had only betrayed people in the name of welfare programmes and set arbitrary conditions only to reduce the number of beneficiaries.

Naidu said Amma Vodi beneficiaries came down by over 52,000. In an inhuman way, the single woman pension was cut for lakhs of beneficiaries by increasing eligibility age to 50 years. New taxes were increased from garbage to every possible thing. Unbearable taxes broke the backs of the common public.

Chandrababu Naidu slammed the Jagan rule for not laying a single brick for Capital City construction. How could this YCP Government put up Amaravati lands for sale at Rs. 10 Cr per acre when it described Capital City as a ‘smasanam’ (cremation ground)?

The TDP chief strongly objected to the YCP rule not making any effort in the past three years to complete the buildings meant for the Government employees in Amaravati area. It was wrong now to give these buildings to private institutions for hire.

Naidu asked the YSRCP leaders to explain why their party could not increase its votes in the latest by-election in Atmakur though the main opposition party was not in the contest. This was only because of the severe anti-Government sentiment against the YSRCP.

Chandrababu Naidu said that when compared to the previous election, the YSRCP could not get even a minimum of 10,000 votes more in the Atmakur by-election. The ruling party distributed cash and the main opposition was not in the contest, but there was no increase in vote share.

The TDP strategy panel had discussed several other issues and blamed the YCP rule for the death of over 19 failed students in the 10th exams. Jagan Reddy’s own liquor brands were taking a heavy toll on the lives of poor people. The CM did not fulfil his promise to give increase Dulhan benefit to Muslim girls from Rs. 50,000 to Rs. 1 Lakh.

Naidu writes to DGP to probe Chittoor police excesses

TDP president and former Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Saturday urged the DGP of AP to take action against the police for their ‘excesses’ against Chittoor former mayor Katari Hemalatha.

In a letter to the DGP here, Naidu said that the Chittoor police were intimidating witnesses and filing false cases in order to cover up the murder of Katari Mohan and Katari Anuradha, former mayor of Chittoor. Appallingly, a section of police was blatantly siding with the ruling YSRCP goons and they were harassing key witnesses in various cases.

The TDP chief condemned the police jeep running over the legs of Katari Hemalatha, who was injured. Lavanya, sister-in-law of Hemalatha, complained to additional SP P Jagadeesh and also to Chittoor DSP on 22nd June 2022 about extending protection to witnesses in the gruesome murder of Katari Anuradha and Mohan, who are parents-in-law of Hemalatha.

Chandrababu Naidu said that on June 23, 2022, it was learnt that Chittoor II Town Police were inquiring about the whereabouts of Satish Naidu, key witness in the murder case of Katari Mohan and his wife Katari Anuradha. The police threatened Prasanna, an aide of Hemalatha, to reveal the whereabouts of Satish Naidu.

Naidu said at around 9 PM on 23rd June 2022, the police raided the house of Purna, brother of Prasanna, in order to threaten Prasanna to tell the whereabouts of Satish. As part of this, the police have foisted a false case of marijuana against Purna and planned to arrest him in order to threaten Prasanna.

Naidu said Hemalatha rushed to the place of incident along with her supporters to rescue Purna. However, the police forcibly pushed Purna into the jeep and manhandled Hemalatha. Circle Inspector Yatindra pushed away Hemalatha and she fell down, sustaining grievous injuries. Further, the police, while reversing, ran their jeep over her, causing fracture in her legs. Hemalatha is admitted to hospital and is currently under treatment.

The TDP chief objected to the police foisting a false case related to marijuana against Purna by showing a pack of green grass in the police jeep. CI Yatindra falsely admitted the jeep driver in the hospital to claim that Hemalatha and her group had attacked the driver.

Naidu urged the DGP to inquire and take stringent action against the erring police officials in foisting false cases against Purna and for manhandling Hemalatha. If this trend of targeting and harassing of key witnesses continues, the police in Andhra Pradesh will be mocked and will be seen with contempt. Any official wontedly deviating from their duties should be dealt with stringently. Only a quick action might help in restoring public faith in police.

Naidu slams Jagan for his ‘rule of demolitions’

TDP president and former Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Saturday described the Jagan Reddy three-year regime as a ‘rule of destruction and demolitions’ in Andhra Pradesh.

Naidu strongly criticised the Jagan Government on the occasion of three-years completion of demolition of Praja Vedika in Amaravati Capital City.

In a tweet here, the TDP chief said that Jagan Reddy demolished Praja Vedika immediately after coming to power so as to give an indication of future destruction all over the State. The demolition of Praja Vedika was the first demolition carried out by Jagan Mohan Reddy after taking over as the Chief Minister.

Naidu said that the CM had clearly indicated to the people how his destructive rule would be by razing to the ground public property that was worth several crores of rupees. There was destruction all along but no construction in the past three years.

Chandrababu Naidu accused the Chief Minister of having demolished the development of AP, overall economic standards and all the democratic institutions in the State. Jagan had demolished the shelter and livelihoods of Dalits, future of youth, Polavaram and Amaravati projects.

Naidu deplored that Jagan Reddy derived sadistic pleasure by demolishing Praja Vedika. By doing so, he had done severe injustice to the people of the State. Not a single project was developed nor a single building was constructed in three years.

The TDP chief said that the Chief Minister was running his administration from the same buildings constructed during the previous TDP rule. This was enough to say that Jagan Reddy was not capable of doing anything. At least now, the CM should realise how construction was more difficult than destruction.

Naidu blames Govt for police attack on Chittoor ex-Mayor

TDP president and former Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Friday condemned what he described as the YSRCP Government-sponsored attack on Chittoor former Mayor and TDP leader Kathari Hemalatha.

Naidu expressed surprise that some police officers were degrading themselves to win favours from the Jagan Reddy rule. What message were they sending by harassing witnesses in the mayor couple murder in Chittoor and by filing false cases against them?

The TDP chief asked whether the erring police were trying to save the culprits. It was atrocious on the part of the police to put a bag of ganja in the house of Poorna in order to file a fabricated case against him.

Naidu said when ex-mayor Hemalatha went there to stop the police highhandedness, they did not hesitate to run the police jeep on her. With what confidence, the police were resorting to such atrocious activities? The Government-sponsored attacks were highly condemnable.

Chandrababu Naidu warned that the TDP would not leave the police officers who were committing serious offences by turning into the ruling YSRCP activists.

Meanwhile, TDP general secretary Nara Lokesh, said that their party would fight a legal battle on behalf of the victimised TDP leaders. After coming to power, the TDP would take all the necessary action against all the erring officers.

Lokesh asked whether asking for protection to the witnesses in a murder case was the crime of ex-mayor Hemalatha. The police should explain whether they were living with the salaries taken from the public or just the private army being run by the Jagan Reddy mafia.

Lokesh termed it as unjust that the police put ganja in the pockets of Poorna and then arrested him by making false charges. The way the police ran their jeep over a woman ex-mayor showed that they were not the real police but only the YCP faction team.

Where is Chandrababu Naidu in Delhi politics?

TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu is missing these days in Delhi politics. He is completely ignored in the Presidential election process. Neither the NDA nor the UPA have called him for consultations. Surprisingly, not even Mamatha Benerji invited him for consultations

Love him or hate him, Chandrababu Naidu played a key role in the national politics since 1995. He became the convenor of the United Front and was instrumental in making Deve Gowda and Gujral as the Prime Ministers of the country in mid-nineties.

Naidu also played a key role in the election of scientist A P J Abdula Kalam as the President in early 2000s. He was then the convenor of the BJP-led NDA which was in power with A B Vajpayee as the Prime Minister from 1999 to 2004.

Chandrababu Naidu is known to most of the politicians in the country and has been closely associated with a good number of them. He also has healthy relations with several leaders in national politics.

While it is not acceptable to say that he is the senior most politician in the country, there are leaders like Farooq Abdulla, Sharad Pawar, Mamatha Benerji, Mulayam Singh Yadav and a few others who have better relations with Chandrababu Naidu.

He worked with Congress top leaders Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi just before the 2019 general elections and had played a key role in leading a campaign against Narendra Modi-Amit Shah led BJP.

But surprisingly, today, Chandrababu Naidu is neither consulted nor involved in the national politics by either of the groups.

Naidu to tour Krishna, Guntur districts

TDP chief and leader of opposition N Chandrababu Naidu would tour Krishna and Guntur districts for three days from June 29. He would start his tour with the party’s mini-Mahanadu to be held at Gudivada on the first day. Later, the next day, the TDP chief would address the party leaders at Machilipatnam.

Sources in the TDP say that Chandrababu Naidu is planning to visit Nimmakuru from Gudivada on June 29 and stay in the village at night. Nimmakuru is the native place of his father-in-law, TDP founder and former chief minister late N T Rama Rao.

If Chandrababu Naidu stays in the village for the night, it would be his first-ever stay after his marriage into NTR’s family in the last four decades. As NTR himself had migrated to Chennai and later to Hyderabad and had rarely visited his native village, Chandrababu Naidu never got the opportunity to stay here.

The TDP chief would also tour the neighbouring Guntur district on July 1. He would hold meetings at Prathipadu and Ponnuru Assembly constituencies in Guntur district. While he would be spending two days in Krishna district, it is likely to be one day for him to tour Guntur district.

The Guntur district TDP leaders are yet to decide on the venue for the party mini-mahanadu to be held when Chandrababu Naidu arrives. The leaders are planning to have it in Prathipadu, if the sources are to be believed.

The venue is likely to be decided in a day or two as there is almost a week’s time in their hands. Sources say that Chandrababu Naidu had asked the party leaders to find a good function hall in Prathipadu to hold the mini-Mahanadu.

Naidu blames ‘Jagan vendetta’ for wall demolition

TDP president and former Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Sunday decried the ‘midnight demolition’ of the house wall of TDP former minister Ch Ayyanna Patrudu in Narsipatnam.

Naidu asserted that the latest attack on the residence of their party senior leader was part of the Jagan Reddy Government’s vendetta against the opposition leaders.

The TDP chief said that the Chief Minister was making selected attacks on the strong BC leaders of the TDP all over the State. Fabricated cases were being filed and false arrests were being made of these BC leaders, the TDP chief alleged.

Naidu said that the attack on the house of Ayyanna Patrudu took place only because he exposed the YSRCP regime’s failures at the Chodavaram Mini Mahanadu. Out of frustration, the ruling party made midnight attacks on the TDP leader, he said.

The TDP chief accused the chief minister of resorting to political vendetta targeting strong leaders in the opposition. He said that Jagna Mohan Reddy was not able to answer even a single question raised by Ayyanna Patrudu at the Chodavaram meeting. Even elsewhere, the TDP leaders were exposing the Jagan government for which false cases are being filed, he said.

Chandrababu Naidu asserted that Jagan Reddy had no courage to answer the questions raised by Ayyanna Patrudu. This is why the CM was resorting to demolitions. The TDP would stand by the side of Ayyanna Patrudu in this critical hour.

RK realised, let Naidu and Pawan realise!

Andhra Jyothi MD Vemuri Radha Krishna is understood to have realised the dynamic politics of Andhra Pradesh. Perhaps that was what he wrote in his weekly column “Kotha Paluku” on Sunday.

The TDP and its favoured media have been watching only Jagan Mohan Reddy in AP politics. They have completely ignored the fact that there is a strong force behind Jagan Mohan Reddy in fighting the 2019 elections. The force would remain much stronger behind Jagan in the 2024 elections.

This is what they have been missing for all these years. The moment TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu broke the alliance with the BJP in 2018 and aligned with the Congress, the BJP stood firm behind Jagan Mohan Reddy. That would not have happened had Chandrababu Naidu not aligned with the Congress.

The BJP leaders in Delhi have made up their mind to finish the TDP in Andhra Pradesh. They have succeeded to some extent by reducing the TDP to just 23 MLA seats. As the 2024 approaches fast, the BJP is putting all its strength behind Jagan Mohan Reddy to finish off the TDP and Chandrababu Naidu in this round.

No doubt, Jagan Mohan Reddy is strong in AP politics and he has his own strategy to defeat the TDP in the next election too. But the BJP’s strength had further added to the strength giving him more arms. While Jagan Mohan Reddy wants to defeat the TDP in 2024 too, the BJP leaders in Delhi want to finish the TDP.

This would mean that Chandrababu Naidu has to face Jagan directly and the BJP indirectly. His strategy for 2024 should be to challenge the visible rival – Jagan Mohan Reddy – and the invisible rival – Narendra Modi and Amit Shah.

It is not just Chandrababu Naidu who should realise the visible and invisible rivals. Even the Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan and the AP BJP leaders too should realise it. It is good that Radha Krishna who supports the TDP realised the strategy of the BJP. Let others also realise it before they get into the war field.

Jagan has no skill to run State, says Naidu

TDP chief and former chief minister Chandrababu Naidu on Thursday inaugurated the party parliamentary constituency office in Anakapalli in Anakapalli district.

On the second day of ‘NTR Sphoorti – Chandranna Bharosa’ (NTR inspiration – Chandranna assurance), Naidu took part in various programmes held in Anakapalli. He had darshan at the local Kanyaka Parameswari Temple.

Addressing after inaugurating the party parliamentary office, the TDP chief said that a ‘reverse rule’ was going on in Andhra Pradesh for the past three years. All sections of people should join hands and continue their struggle by echoing the slogan ‘Quit Jagan – Save AP’.

Naidu said that nobody would have an idea which way the vehicle would go if a person having no knowledge of driving was put in the driver seat. As of now, the Jagan Reddy Government was going in the same unpredictable direction.

Chandrababu Naidu pointed out that as he spoke about the police programmes at yesterday’s public meeting, the Government has immediately released pending arrears. It was only the TDP which was raising its voice over the problems of employees. Only the TDP was fighting for the rights of the struggling employees under this ruthless regime.

Naidu asserted that a sort of ‘psycho regime’ has been going on in the State right now. The TDP will fully repay all those who were filing false cases and harassing the opposition leaders and activists. The TDP cadres should fight against the Jagan misrule with inspiration drawn from NTR.

The TDP chief later took part in the meeting with the party leaders and activists of all the seven assembly segments in Anakapalli parliamentary constituency.

Two-year struggle needed to throw out corrupt regime – Naidu

TDP chief and leader of opposition N Chandrababu Naidu on Wednesday called upon the people to take up a relentless struggle in the next two years to throw out the ‘corrupt’ Jagan Reddy regime.

Naidu asked what right CM Jagan had to talk about ‘social justice’ when he brought an atrocious rule of Vijay Sai Reddy and Subba Reddy to a stronghold of BCs like North Andhra region. The TDP chief kicked off his ‘NTR Sphoorti – Chandranna Bharosa’ year-long district tours at the first Mini Mahanadu held at Chodavaram in Anakapalli district.

Addressing the well-attended public meeting there, Naidu cautioned the people against sitting in their homes while leaving it all to the TDP to fight against the unjust and ruthless rule. “They are trying to suppress everybody by striking fear. If we are overtaken by fear, the State will become completely destroyed. Come out and fight. I will stand by your side.”

Naidu said that Jagan Reddy held a review meeting on ‘Gadapa Gadapaku’ recently when he told his MLAs to wait for 2 years so that Chandrababu would become aged and not that much active. But that would not happen. “I can speak for two hours non-stop even now. I have no mental or physical problems. I remain cool at 6 am when I wake up and at 2 am when I go to bed’.

Chandrababu Naidu said Jagan’s misrule marked such horrible incidents like the death of Dalit doctor Dr Sudhakar, 29 illicit liquor deaths at Jangareddygudem, killing of Dalit youth by Kakinada YCP MLC and destruction of Rushikonda. Despite the orders of the Supreme Court and Green Tribunal, the Vizag’s natural attraction Rushikonda was crushed by the atrocious rulers.

The TDP chief advised the police not to become ‘bakras’ (goats) by committing violations of law to please the ruling YCP leaders. The DGP and top police bosses should explain why the police were not getting their salaries, PF, DA and even leave encashment.

Naidu said that over 25,000 teachers should be provided to the youth right now but the CM was trying to avoid this. As long as Jagan Reddy would be the Chief Minister, nobody would come to make investments and nobody would get jobs. While the TDP created best-paying IT jobs, Jagan provided low-paid ‘volunteer’ jobs.

Chandrababu Naidu termed it as alarming that Jagan Reddy’s policies led to crop holiday not just in water-rich Konaseema but also in his own Kadapa district. The CM pressed buttons but the farmers did not receive insurance money. Instead of pressing ’empty buttons’, Jagan Reddy should press real buttons and give the list of farmers’ names in a website for whom funds were released.

Earlier, the TDP gave a rousing reception to Naidu on his arrival at Vizag airport. Lots of people arrived and took part in his road shows in Gajuwaka, Anakapalli, Venkannapalem and Chodavaram. He made a floral tribute at the Ambedkar statue in Anakapalle.

Naidu reaches Visakha, to begin his year-long tour

TDP chief and Leader of Opposition N Chandrababu Naidu reached Visakhapatnam airport this evening. The party leaders and workers received him at the airport as the women offered him a traditional welcome.

The TDP chief would tour both Visakhapatnam and Anakapalli districts today and tomorrow. He would address the party leaders and workers in the two districts and also hold district-level mini-mahanadu.

On the first day, the TDP chief would address the party leaders and workers at Chodavaram and proceed to Anakapalli for the night stay. He would then tour the Anakapalli district on the second day.

The TDP chief had decided to tour all the 26 districts for the next one year. He would be touring at least two days every month covering two districts for the next one year. He would then start a bus yatra of the Assembly constituencies that are not covered in this year-long tour.

Chandrababu Naidu is bent on defeating the YSR Congress and returning to power in the next elections. He pledged to return to the Assembly only as chief minister and if he fails to wrest power, he would miss the opportunity to sit in the Assembly or his pledge would get defeated.

Initially the TDP chief thought of sending his son and party general secretary Nara Lokesh on Padayatra. Interestingly, Lokesh was also ready for the programme. However, Naidu dropped his son and has taken up the district tour.

TDP chief Naidu to begin year-long tour in districts

TDP chief and former Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Tuesday is all set to go on year-long district tours all over the State from Wednesday. Naidu’s tours will be taken up under the slogan ‘NTR Sphoorthy – Chandranna Bharosa’ (NTR inspiration and Chandranna assurance). In each tour, he will cover the districts for three days.

The TDP chief’s tours would aim at highlighting the failures and destructive policies of the YSRCP Government. Naidu would hold an assurance to the people to carve a better future for the State. His prime focus would be on giving a firm assurance on continuation of welfare governance, promotion of development of the state.

The TDP chief would also be highlighting the failures of the YSR Congress government in the last three years. He would focus and tell people how chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy had failed to develop the state and how he was taking vengeance and the opposition parties.

The first district Mahanadu of the TDP will be held in Chodavaram assembly constituency in Anakapalli district on Wednesday. This is being held as part of the year-long NTR centenary celebrations. Here, Naidu’s first day tour Mahanadu public meeting would be held.

On the second day of the tour, Naidu will hold meetings with the leaders and main activists of the party in all the 7 assembly segments in the parliamentary constituency. On the third day, he will address Badude Badudu road shows against the Government’s failure to check prices and current charges.

Chandrababu’s tours would be held in over 100 Assembly segments over the next one year. The TDP chief is planning to have at least two tours in every month covering as many assembly seats as possible, depending on the weather conditions.

Naidu says YCP will eliminate everyone linked with Viveka murder

TDP supremo and former chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu said that the YSR Congress government would eliminate everyone who is connected with the murder of former minister Y S Vivekananda Reddy.

Chandrababu Naidu launched a photo exhibition of “Quit Jagan, Save AP” at the TDP headquarters in Mangalagiri on Friday. He said that everyone has to rally together in the 2024 elections to defeat the YSR Congress and save the state.

Referring to the death of Gangadhara Reddy, the witness in the murder of former minister Y S Vivekananda Reddy. The TDP chief said that they have anticipated the suspicious death or murder of everyone involved or related to the murder of Vivekananda Reddy.

“What we said three years ago is being proved now. The witness to the murder is dead. Earlier, Srinivasa Reddy died. We are sure that everyone will die before the enquiry is completed,” Chandrababu Naidu said. He also questioned the CBI for its silence in the murder even after four years.

“If CBI can’t investigate one death, what guarantee would it give to the people in the country?” he asked. He wanted the CBI to be active and intensify investigation, fix the guilty before the rest of the people involved in the murder are eliminated,” Naidu said.

He further said that the YSR Congress leaders have also done similar conspiracy in the murder of TDP former minister Paritala Ravindara in the past. “They are criminals. They know everything and they do everything. The CBI has to stop it,” the TDP chief said.

Jagan turned AP into a burial ground, says Naidu

TDP chief and former Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Friday accused the Jagan Reddy Government of turning Andhra Pradesh into a burial ground by perpetrating murderous attacks on all sections.

Naidu blamed the Jagan regime for non-stop murder of political opponents, suicides of farmers, unemployed youth, 10th class students, rapes and killings of innocent girls and women.

The TDP chief released a book ‘Quit Jagan Save AP’ and inaugurated an exhibition of photos and videos at the party central office here, showing the anarchy and mayhem perpetrated by the YSRCP criminals with active connivance of the police.

Naidu said over 1,24,793 persons lost their lives due to atrocious policies of the Jagan Government in the past three years. Over 2,552 farmers committed suicides due to debts. The whole State turned into an ever burning ‘Ravana Kashtam’ with rivals and common public falling victim to mindless policies.

Naidu pointed out how in the latest instance over 8 students of 10th class ended their lives while 2 lakh students in all failed in the exams this year. Why Jagan Reddy’s Amma Vodi, Nadu Nedu and English medium could come to the rescue of these hapless children? The Government should take the blame for 10th class students ending their lives on the railway track.

Chandrababu Naidu condemned that over 422 unemployed educated youth committed suicides after losing hope on their future careers. Four TDP ex Ministers were harassed by putting them in jail. Six TDP ex MLAs were sent to prison by implicating them in false cases. Over 37 TDP activists were murdered by the ruling YSRCP goons.

Naidu said that under Jagan Reddy’s ‘iron leg rule’, all sections of people faced harassment and humiliations. “Nobody is able to sleep peacefully in their houses. There is constant fear everywhere. People are living in constant fear of atrocities on girls and attacks by miscreants.”

Decrying the Government ‘excesses’, Naidu said the ruling YSRCP goondas were issuing threats to Dastagiri for turning approve in the YS Viveka murder case. The investigation into this sensational murder case was now posing a credibility test to the CBI right now.

Naidu to start districts tour from June 15

TDP chief and leader of opposition, Nara Chandrababu Naidu is all set to launch his extensive tour programme across the state from June 15. He is planning to stay for three days in every Lok Sabha constituency.

According to the party sources, the TDP chief had finalised the programme for the next one year covering all the 26 districts in the state. Taking the Lok Sabha constituency as base for his tour programme, Chandrababu Naidu wants to conduct road shows in at least 80 Assembly constituencies in the next 12 months.

Chandrababu Naidu initially planned a bus tour and had proposed padayatra for Lokesh. However, to avoid duplication of programmes Chandrababu Naidu had made up his mind to launch the tour programme on his own. He wants the party leaders and the media to focus on his programme that would make people too focus on him.

The tour schedule is also tentatively finalised, the source said. As Chandrababu Naidu plans to stay for three days in every Parliamentary constituency, he plans to organise party founder late N T Rama Rao’s birth centenary celebrations on the first day.

The second day would be dedicated for interaction with the party leaders, professionals in the area while the third day would be left for the party chief to conduct road shows at least in two Assembly constituencies. He would conduct the road shows both in the morning and evening.

Chandrababu Naidu is firm on defeating Jagan Mohan Reddy in the next election and has taken the 2024 election seriously, despite his aging problem. He is not ready to leave the campaign to Lokesh, as people and even some of the party leaders are yet to accept the young leader.

Naidu demands withdrawal of schools merger plan

TDP supremo and former Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Wednesday demanded the Jagan Mohan Reddy Government to withdraw the proposed merger of municipal schools with the State education department.

Naidu strongly criticised the Government for hatching a ‘conspiracy’ to take over the prime properties of over 2,115 municipal schools in cities and towns across Andhra Pradesh.

The TDP chief asked where was the need for merger when the municipal schools were achieving good results. Moreover, these schools have been catering to the educational needs of students of poorer sections for over 160 years.

Naidu said that the YSRCP Government was not learning any lessons from the past setback when the management of aided schools successfully fought a legal battle against a similar merger plan. At that time, the Government made nefarious plans to forcibly take over and occupy properties of aided institutions.

Chandrababu Naidu said that the respective municipal bodies were paying salaries to the non-teaching staff in their municipal schools. Who would pay their salaries if these schools were merged with the education department? The municipal bodies were also paying electricity bills for their schools.

Decrying the attitude of the YSRCP rulers, Naidu said the municipal teachers were already raising their protesting voices, saying that the merger was against the joint services of the High Court. The Government’s ulterior merger plan would destroy the future of over 4.5 lakh poor children studying in municipal schools all over the State.

The TDP chief pointed out that the municipal schools were imparting good education and showing impressive results. There were also admissions from private schools into municipal schools. At some municipal schools, they were putting up ‘no admission’ boards due to lack of seats.

Naidu too blames Jagan for Class 10 results debacle

TDP chief and former Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Tuesday asserted that Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy owed an explanation to the public on the failure of 2 lakh students in the 10th results in Andhra Pradesh.

Naidu appealed to the failed students not to end their precious lives for the failure of systems and institutions that were functioning under the Government.

The TDP chief demanded the CM to explain why there was such a high failure rate despite his much trumpeted Nadu-Nedu programme in the Government schools. The Jagan regime has been doing largescale propaganda about Nadu Nedu transformation in schools for the past three years. But alarming results came out now.

Naidu asked why there was a huge gap between the claims made by the YCP rule and the latest 10th results. Under the TDP regime, the students’ success rate ranged from 90 to 95 percent. It was brought down to 67 percent now under the YCP rule. The deep slide reflected the pathetic conditions prevailing in school education.

Chandrababu Naidu blamed the Government’s policies like lack of teacher recruitment for the huge failure rate. Merger of schools and engagement of teachers in non-academic works contributed to the downslide. Jagan’s Nadu Nedu assurances and false claims eventually led to failure of lakhs of students, causing a lot of anguish to their parents.

The TDP chief demanded that the Jagan Government should take responsibility for all the 2 lakh students who lost one full academic year. In this whole issue, it was the Government’s systems that have miserably failed but not the innocent students. The general public should realise what harm has been done to the helpless students.

Naidu said the students should not resort to suicides for failing in the examinations. They should boldly face the adverse situation. The students do not need to end their lives when the fault lay with the systems in the Government.
