Naidu promises full security for Muslims in NDA govt in AP

“I have come before you to assure you all full security as the people of the State are now more worried about their safety and security besides guarantee to their lives,” said TDP president and former chief minister, Nara Chandrababu Naidu, on Saturday.

Addressing a largely attended public meeting at Pedakurapadu of Palnadu district during the Praja Galam, Chandrababu Naidu said that he has come before the people along with the support of the Jana Sena and the BJP as he is keen that the anti-incumbency vote should not get divided. “Jana Sena chief, Pawan Kalyan, has already given a call to the people that they all should join hands to get the State rid of this evil. The TDP, the Jana Sena and the BJP joined hands keeping in view the future of all of you ,” Chandrababu Naidu said.

Stating that great injustice is done for Muslims in the past five years during the YSRCP rule, Chandrababu Naidu assured the community that he will personally take the responsibility of their safety and security. Calling upon the people to vote for the NDA for the future of the country and the State, he wanted everyone to take this as his assurance to them.

The local TDP leader, Kommalapati Sridhar, has always worked for the party, he said that the people of this segment are lucky enough to have such a leader with them. Since Bhashyam Praveen has been fielded as the NDA candidate from here as 40 per cent of the voters are the youth, Chandrababu promised MLC for Kommalapati Sridhar.

The five-year rule of the YSRCP is a nightmare for the people of the State, he said that the power-hungry Chief Minister, Jagan Mohan Reddy, does not mind even taking away the lives of the people to remain in power. Jagan is looting the State in all ways and the sand has become a money spinning business for him as the local contractors are paying Rs 4,000 for every truck load of sand, Chandrababu Naidu remarked.

The atrocities against all sections have gone up in the State in the past five years, he said that a local YSRCP leader called a Muslim woman a thief when she was coming back home after performing namaz at a local masjid. When this has happened for an innocent Muslim woman one can easily imagine what will be the fate of others, he said.

The TDP has been partner of the NDA since 2014, but no injustice was done to any Muslim during that TDP regime, Chandrababu said, adding that his is a vision while Jagan’s is a poison. Had Amaravathi been completed the State would have got Rs one lakh crore revenue every year, Chandrababu Naidu said and regretted that Jagan has totally destroyed everything, including Amaravathi.

Pointing out that Lavu Krishnadevarayalu, who was with the YSRCP till recently, has quit the party and joined the TDP as he wants Amaravathi to be developed, the TDP supremo said that if the youth want jobs Babu should be back in power and if anyone wants ganja Jagan should be supported. The Minister for Water Resources does not have even basic knowledge about the portfolio, Chandrababu Naidu said and added that not even a single farmer in the State is happy now.

“My thinking is always 20 years forward than the youth. In 2000 I gave a call for Vision-2020 and I strongly feel that by 2047 the country will be number one in the world in development in all sectors,” the former chief minister observed. Chandrababu Naidu expressed confidence that the Super-Six will certainly transform the lives of everyone in the State.

The TDP supremo suspected that the Congress is making every effort to ensure that the YSRCP votes are not divided. Chandrababu Naidu also promised to do justice to the Madigas even after categorisation of the community. He also promised to develop Pedakurapadu in all sectors.

Naidu writes to CEC to make alternate arrangements to distribute old-age pensions

0

Regretting that 33 deaths of ald aged people in the past few days as the pension for them was not distributed at their door-steps despite clear directions from the Election Commission to make alternative arrangements after keeping the services of the volunteers away from this, TDP supremo, Nara Chandrababu Naidu, on Friday demanded action against the Chief Secretary for circumventing the whole process only to work in favour of the ruling YSRCP.

In a letter addressed to the Chief Election Commissioner, Chandrababu Naidu said that the selfish and vicious campaign of the YSRCP 33 persons have died in the process of collecting their pension from the local secretariat. Though the intention of the poll panel is very clear that the ongoing schemes and arrangements should be continued without any dislocation and by utilising the services of other government employees, Chandrababu Naidu said in the letter.

Though over 1.34 lakh employees are available at village or ward sachivalayams it is very much possible to distribute pensions at the doorsteps of the beneficiaries, he said. But with a view to attributing the decision of the poll panel to the TDP for gaining political mileage the ruling party is blaming the TDP for this, the TDP supremo added.

Mentioning various other issues in his letter, Chandrababu Naidu said that action should be initiated against the Chief Secretary who is solely responsible for circumventing the whole process only to work in favour of the ruling YSRCP. Also, he demanded action against other officials responsible for not providing funds in time and proper amenities for the pensioners.

The TDP supremo made an appeal to the poll panel to issue directions to the authorities to deliver the pensions at the doorstep of the beneficiaries by utilising the services of the ward and village sachivalayam staff members. Chandrababu Naidu demanded action against the ruling YSRCP for deliberately misleading the public with false information resulting in the death of 33 innocent persons.

He wanted the poll panel to recall the YSRCP advertisements regarding the distribution of pension as they are deliberately intended to target the main Opposition TDP with mala fide intentions. Chandrababu Naidu wanted the Election Commission to initiate urgent action in this regard.

Land Titling Act will take properties under pledge, says Naidu

0

If the Land Titling Act comes into force the properties of all the people will be under mortgage, said TDP president and former chief minister, Nara Chandrababu Naidu, on Friday and promised to rescind the Act immediately after the TDP allied NDA come\s to power in the State in these elections.

Chandrababu Naidu said at a massive public meeting at Narsapuram during the Praja Galam campaign that Chief Minister, Jagan Mohan Reddy, has no minimum respect for the farmers and has no basic knowledge on the problems being faced by the farming sector. The TDP supremo promised Rs 20,000 financial assistance per annum to every farmer soon after the NDA is into power.

Jagan is filling the exchequer by selling spurious liquor claiming the innocent lives of several people resulting in women becoming widows, Chandrababu Naidu regretted. “I am assuring you all that once the NDA forms the coming government all such fake brands of liquor will thoroughly be checked saving the lives of innocent people,” he added.

Expressing serious concern that all the sectors in the State are in deep crisis now, the TDP supremo said that the lives of the youth too is in total darkness. “I am promising 20 lakh jobs to the youth in the coming five years and till they get employment Rs 3,000 each will be paid as unemployment allowance per month till they get jobs,” Chandrababu Naidu said.

This apart, he said he is confident that the Super Six schemes will certainly bring a glow in the lives of everyone in the State. Chandrababu Naidu also promised to bring the past glory to the aqua sector which is crucial for this area. The present economic condition of the State is so bad that the salaries of the government employees have not been paid yet though it is already 5th of this month on Friday.

At least pensions are not being paid for the old taking away their lives and Jagan is such a kind of person, he remarked. Chandrababu Naidu promised immediate action against those who illegally grabbed the lands of the people and subsidy on diesel, boats and other material will be revived by the coming NDA government.

Jagan destroyed Andhra Pradesh, says Naidu

TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu on Friday alleged that chief minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy had destroyed Andhra Pradesh. He said that Jagan Mohan Reddy had promoted cheap liquor, ganja, and drugs in the state. He said that the chief minister had made Andhra Pradesh as the capital of the drugs.

Speaking at a public meeting in Narsapuram, Chandrababu Naidu emphasised the need to send Jagan Mohan Reddy home. He wanted the people to defeat the YSR Congress in the coming general election.

The TDP chief felt that the YSR Congress should have the axe as its symbol and not the fan. He said that they have axed their uncle Y S Vivekananda Reddy before the 2019 general election. He wanted to know whom Jagan Mohan Reddy would kill in this election.

Chandrababu Naidu accused the chief minister of going for highest ever borrowings in the state. He alleged that Jagan Mohan Reddy had drowned the state in debts. There was no possibility of bringing the state back to the track for next thirty years, Chandrababu Naidu said.

Borrowings had become the agenda of Jagan Mohan Reddy for five years. There was not a single month when the state government restrained from going for borrowings, he said. He also maintained that it would take thirty years for the TDP to streamline the state’s economy.

He said that the TDP, BJP and Jana Sena have joined hands to defeat Jagan Mohan Reddy. He doesn’t want even a single anti-Jagan vote to go to waste. He wanted everyone in the state to work for the defeat of Jagan Mohan Reddy.

Chandrababu Naidu said that the TDP is known for development and welfare. He said that only the TDP would bring investments and industries to the state. He also said that the TDP government would encourage youth to get better jobs in the private sector. Hyderabad was promoted as the employment centre during the TDP regime, he said.

The TDP chief wanted the people to give 160 Assembly seats to the TDP in the coming elections. He asserted that the TDP would work hard to develop the state and create employment opportunities for the youth.

Naidu demands Jagan’s resignation taking responsibility for pensioners deaths

0

TDP president, Nara Chandrababu Naidu, on Friday demanded that Jagan Mohan Reddy shoulder the responsibility for the deaths of the pensioners and opt out as the Chief Minister.

Chandrababu Naidu told media persons at Nallajerla in East Godavari district that for his political benefits Jagan has hatched conspiracies claiming the innocent lives of the pensioners. Jagan has the habit of resorting to cheap politics even on dead bodies, Chandrababu Naidu remarked.

Promising to pay Rs 4,000 monthly pension to every household immediately after coming to power, the former chief minister made it clear that the revised pension will be applicable from the month of April itself and the dues for April, May and June will be paid immediately. “I will be the eldest son of every house and will distribute the pension directly at your doorstep,” Chandrababu Naidu said.

Chandrabau Naidu said that he always thinks about the welfare of society while Jagan has only selfish-ends and stated that Jagan has been claiming innocent lives and taking wild pleasure from it. “We should always seek votes by doing good things for the people but not by resorting to misinformation campaign,” he added.

Maintaining that Jagan had earlier emerged victorious in the polls by killing his own paternal uncle and passing the buck on the TDP, Chandrababu Naidu said that Jagan has utilised even the death of his own father for his political gains. Now, becoming responsible for the death of several innocent pensioners, he is again trying to win these elections, Chandrababu Naidu remarked.

Asking as to why the pensions were not paid on 1st of this month, he felt that with the fear of losing power he borrowed huge amount of money and cleared the Rs 13,000 cr worth of pending bills of the contractors. The Election Commission did not say that the pensions should not be distributed at the doorstep but only ordered that the services of the volunteers should not be utilised for this purpose, Chandrababu Naidu clarified.

Making it clear that the TDP does not oppose the volunteer system, he said the system will be continued by the TDP too after coming to power. Since this Government is not coming back to power, the coming TDP allied NDA government will not take back those volunteers who have already submitted their resignations. The YSRCP Government is using the volunteers for its political advantage and making them fall victims for the selfishness of the ruling party leaders, he stated.

The TDP has the patent rights on the pensions as it was the party founder, the late NT Rama Rao, who introduced the scheme with Rs 30 per month for each beneficiary, Chandrababu Naidu said and added that after he came to power he increased it to Rs 75 while the late Dr YS Rajasekhara Reddy as the then chief minister had revised it again in 2004 to Rs 200. “Again when I came back to power in 2014 I increased it to Rs 1,000 and again revised it to Rs 2,000 as the cost of living has gone up,” the TDP supremo recalled.

Calling Jagan as the most selfish person under the sky, Chandrababu Naidu said that it is the TDP allied NDA that is going to come to power in these elections and advised the officials not to get into trouble by violating the norms to temporarily satisfy the ruling party leaders.

Murder politics is part of YSRCP’s DNA, says Naidu

0

Observing that murder politics is part of YSRCP’s DNA, TDP supremo and former chief minister, Chandrababu Naidu, on Thursday said that Jagan Mohan Reddy, in his capacity as the YSRCP president, sought votes in 2014 claiming that his father, the former chief minister, Dr YS Rajasekhara Reddy, was murdered while in 2019 he approached the voters claiming that his paternal uncle was done to death.

“Now Jagan Mohan Reddy, as the Chief Minister of the State, again resorting to similar murder politics by not paying pension to the beneficiaries,” Chandrababu Naidu said while addressing a huge public meeting at Kovvur in East Godavari district as part of his Praja Galam. Who is the feudalist, whether the leader who has implemented 27 welfare schemes for Dalits is the feudalist or the person who has withdrawn all these schemes, he said in an oblique reference to Jagan.

The leader who filled the empty stomachs of the poor through Anna Cantees is the feudalist or who closed these cantees after coming to power thus forcing the poor to starve, Chandrababu Naidu asked. The TDP supremo made it clear that the Dalits are totally revolting against the YSRCP.

Stating that he will certainly implement all the welfare schemes not by going for debts but by creating assets, Chandrababu Naidu also promised to rebuild the State sans ganja, drugs and J-brand liquor within 100 days of coming to power. Expressing confidence that the victory is that of the TDP allied National Democratic Alliance (NDA) both at the Centre and in the State, he said that the people are not willing even to attend Jagan Redddy’s public meetings despite arranging buses for transport and even after paying money to them.

“The enthusiasm in all of you reflects the fact that you are eagerly waiting for May 13 to send Jagan home through your votes. Kovvur is the bastion of TDP but the Jana Sena and the BJP activists too should be active in taking part in the campaign. From this dais I appreciate the efforts of Jana Sena chief, Pawan Kalyan, for coming forward to save the State,” Chandrababu Naidu said.

The BJP and the Jana Sena have come forward to have an alliance with the TDP only to work for the victory of the people, he said, adding that Daggubati Purandheswari is contesting to the Lok Sabha from here while two Jana Sena candidates are part of the race of the alliance for the Assembly from here. Since the fan has come to a grinding halt and will no longer rotate, the people are aware of this fact and are getting ready to make it into pieces, Chandrababu Naidu said.

Extending support to the advocates who are fighting against the Land Titling Act, Chandrababu Naidu promised to revoke the legislation soon after coming to power. “Work hard for these 39 days and I will take the responsibility personally to bring the State back on track. The victory of all our candidates should be one-sided,” Chandrababu Naidu said.

Naidu suspects YSRCP plot behind not paying old-age pension at doorsteps

0

Maintaining that Chief Minister, Jagan Mohan Reddy, is simply cheating the old by calling them as grand-parents, TDP president and former chief minister, Nara Chandrababu Naidu, on Monday suspected a conspiracy by the ruling YSRCP behind not distributing the old-age pension for them at their doorsteps.

The pension that is to be distributed to the old is being paid by Jagan to his own contractors, Chandrababu Naidu told the booth-level TDP activists through teleconference. On the other hand, Jagan for his own political gain has been resorting to mispropaganda that the TDP is creating hurdles for pension distribution which is totally false, the former chief minister told the party activists.

“In just 15 days, Jagan has diverted Rs 13,000 cr thus emptying the exchequer. The pension can be distributed in a single day across the State through village secretariat employees which Jagan did not utilise the opportunity but is passing the buck on to the TDP,” Chandrababu said. Expressing confidence that the huge turn out to the Praja Galam meetings clearly indicate that the TDP allied National Democratic Alliance (NDA) is coming to power in the State, the TDP supremo said that the people are vexed with Jagan.

“This is the reason as to why the Chief Minister has been facing stiff resistance and protests everywhere,” Chandrababu told the TDP activists. Clarifying that the TDP never made any kind of request to anyone, including the Election Commission, that the services of volunteers should not be utilised for distribution of pensions, Chandrababu directed the party activists to go to every house and give the clarification to them on the conspiracies of the YSRCP in the pension distribution besides providing the facts before them.

There is no surprise that Jagan, who is responsible for the killing of his own paternal uncle for his own political gains, does not resort to this kind of conspiracies with regard to payment of pensions to gain votes, Chandrababu remarked. “As soon as we are into power Rs 4,000 will be paid as monthly pension for all these beneficiaries,” he said and asked the party activists to explain it to the pensioners.

Demanding the State Government to come out with facts on the bill payments made to each person in the past 15 days, Chandrababu also wanted immediate steps to distribute pensions to every doorstep. The Election Commission too should initiate steps in this regard and direct the district collectors, tehsildars and other officials to take necessary measures to distribute the pension immediately, he said.

Stating that the TDP stand on the volunteers is very clear, he asked the volunteers not to work in favour of the YSRCP and assured that the party will take care of their future. “If you make any kind of mistakes at the election time there is every possibility of cases to be registered against such volunteers and thus you should be extra cautious,” Chandrababu told the volunteers through the party activists.

The TDP supremo also asked the party activists to explain to the people how Jagan is paying them Rs 10 from one hand and looting Rs 100 through the other. Stating that the YSRP is resorting to misinformation campaign due to high insecurity, Chandrababu Naidu said that the TDP, which was partner of the NDA for five years earlier, did not cause any kind of inconvenience to the Muslims. He asked them to explain to the people in detail about this issue too.

Naidu terms Jagan as Dalit traitor as 188 Dalits were killed in 5 years

0

Terming Chief Minister, Jagan Mohan Reddy, as a traitor of Dalits, TDP president and former chief minister, Nara Chandrababu Naidu, said here on Saturday that at least 188 persons belonging to the Dalit community have been killed in various parts of the State in the past five years while 11,000 Dalits have been subjected to various kinds of attacks.

Addressing a largely attended public meeting at Naidupet of Sullurpet Assembly segment in Tirupati district as part of the Praja Galam, Chandrababu Naidu expressed the opinion that the people will not excuse him for the blunders that he had committed in these five years. “Give rest to Jagan by defeating him in these elections as this is the only lesson that the people can teach him for his blunders,” the TDP supremo remarked.

Asking the massive gathering whether they want a leader who can create assets and distribute them among the people or a leader who can lead the State towards bankruptcy, Chandrababu Naidu promised to build houses for the poor by distributing them two cents of land each. Cheered at the positive response from the huge gathering, the TDP supremo expressed confidence that the NDA victory is certain in the State.

Stating that Lord Krishna excused Sisupala despite committing 100 mistakes, he said Jagan, however, had committed 1,000 blunders and asked whether the people will excuse him for which they unitedly said ‘no’. “I am happy at your tremendous response and this should lay the foundation for the victory of the alliance in the State,” Chandrababu Naidu noted.

Justice is not done to a single person in Jagan’s rule, he said and added that this is the basic reason as to why everyone is angry at Jagan. Making an appeal to the people to extend their support to the Tirupati candidate of the alliance, Vara Prasada Rao, and Vijaya Sri, the daughter of Nelavala Subrahmanyam, who is contesting from Sullurpet Assembly segment, Chandrababu Naidu said that industries were set up in the State to prevent migrations of the youth during the TDP regime, this Chief Minister chased them out throwing the future of the youth into oblivion.

Reiterating that the coming NDA government will take all measures for the welfare of all sections, including bringing in a legislation for the safety of the BCs, supply of safe drinking water to every doorstep and payment of Rs 4,000 monthly pension for all the eligible, the former chief minister said that assets will be created and distributed to the poor. Observing that Surllurpet is a bastion of Dalits, Chandrababu Naidu said that Jagan has totally deceived the community and even withdrew the welfare schemes implemented during the TDP regime.

Making an appeal to the people to vote for the alliance candidates and bring the NDA to power both at the Centre and in the State, Chandrababu Naidu assured the gathering that all the promises made to them will be implemented on a warfooting basis and employment opportunities will be provided for the youth.

Praja Galam is shining while Sidhham is fading, says Naidu

While the Praja Galam meetings are beaming with heavy glow the Sidhham meetings of Chief Minister, Jagan Mohan Reddy, are fading away, observed the TDP supremo and former chief minister, Nara Chandrababu Naidu, on Saturday.

Addressing a colossal public gathering as part of the Praja Galam election campaign, Chandrababu Naidu said that Jagan is an egoist and highly corrupt with destructive attitude. Stating that several industries have been set up at Renigunta during the TDP regime, the former chief minister said that after the YSRCP came to power these leaders have begun extortions of these industrialists.

Steps were also initiated for temple tourism of Titupati, Srikalahasti and Kanipakam, he said “our’s is welfare while Jagan’s is creating a crisis.” The YSRCP rule is filled with commissions, land grabbings and rowdyism, Chandrababu Naidu said and expressed confidence that the people are thus ready to teach a lesson to Jagan.

Maintaining that the State witnessed industrial development only during the TDP regime, Chandrababu Naidu made it clear that there is no question of excusing anyone who had committed blunders to damage the State. “As the chief minister of the State I have taken stringent steps to check smuggling of red sanders while Mr Jagan has fielded the red sanders smuggler as the Chittoor Assembly candidate,” the TDP supremo said.

Expressing concern that even attempts are being made to pollute the highly sacred Tirumala temple which is famous globally, Chandrababu Naidu promised to establish a totally corrupt-free government after these elections. Fondly recalling the steps that he had taken to develop Hyderabad, the former chief minister said that today the city is in a number one position in the world because of his vision.

Assuring the youth that Mega DSC will be notified immediately after he takes charge as the chief minister, Chandrababu Naidu said that steps will also be taken for the protection of the poor and for their health. Reiterating his commitment to build houses for the poor in two cents, Chandrababu Naidu made it clear that the ongoing colonies will be continued. “I will take the State towards the golden era from the stone era and I will be the driver of the State,” he added.

What is most important is that Chandrababu Naidu promised to convert Chennai, Tirupati and Nellore as tri-cities and will bring the State back on track. He also made it clear that those who had committed any kind of mistake will not be spared. Chandrababu Naidu told the people that the TDP, the Jana Sena and the BJP have come together only in the interest of the people and assured them that he will take the State much forward on a fast pace.

Naidu’s call to people to spurn Jagan to save AP

0

Calling upon the people to spurn this ‘most inefficient’ Chief Minister, Jagan Mohan Reddy, to save Andhra Pradesh, TDP president N Chandrababu Naidu on Saturday made an appeal to the voters in the State not to get carried away by caste, religion or region.

Chandrababu Naidu addressed a gigantic public meeting as part of Praja Galam election campaign at Proddatur in Kadapa district. The TDP supremo is confident that there is a total change in the trend of the people and they will certainly teach a fitting lesson to the YSRCP in these elections. Jagan is the most inefficient Chief Minister as he could not take steps to construct the Kadapa steel plant in these five years, Chandrababu Naidu said and felt that Jagan has no right to talk about the development of Rayalaseema.

“How can you field a person as the candidate for this Lok Sabha seat who had killed your own paternal uncle and seek votes in his favour,” Chandrababu Naidu asked Jagan. Making a fervent appeal to the people to elect Varadarajul Reddy as MLA from Proddatur and Bhupesh Reddy to the Lok Sabha from Kadapa, Chandrababu Naidu is confident that the State will certainly march towards a golden era in the coming five years with the NDA forming the governments both at the Centre and in the State.

No power on earth can stop the movement of cycle (the symbol of the TDP) in Kadapa district and NDA’s victory is unstoppable in the State, he said and tried to instill confidence among them saying that they are not servants to any feudalist in the State. Jagan who organised a public meeting here has mobilised people from all the seven Assembly segments by offering them biryani and quarter bottle but ultimately what happened Jagan, he asked.

Leave alone the whole State the people of Pulivendula are not trusting Jagan as for him Chief Minister means adopting violent politics, adopting feudalistic tendency, murders and looting the natural resources, Mr Chandrababu remarked. Making it clear that he will never forget the sacrifices made by the TDP activists for the past several years, Chandrababu Naidu promised to honour them suitably very soon.

Maintaining that Jana Sena chief, Pawan Kalyan has been working with the sole aim of developing the State and doing justice to the poor, Chandrababu Naidu said that Mr Pawan Kalyan joined hands with the TDP so that the anti-incumbency vote should not get divided and Jagan, under any circumstances, should win again. “I wholeheartedly appreciate Mr Pawan Kalyan,” he added.

Jagan has absolutely no knowledge as to how to create assets, he said that the State is now facing a huge debt of Rs 12 lakh cr. “I have brought the Kia car manufacturing unit and created jobs to the locals but this Chief Minister did not make any effort for the Kadapa steel plant which would have provided employment to the youth,” Chandrabbau Naidu noted.

Had even a single industry been set up in Kadapa district in the past five years, the former chief minister asked and said that the supply of the Krishna waters to Rayalaseema was the dream of the TDP founder, the late NT Rama Rao. “My dream is to bring the Godavari waters to this region and complete the Polavaram project. Had I continued in power both these projects would have been completed but Mr Jagan has totally deceived you,” Chandrababu Naidu said.

Mentioning the large number of deaths in the past five years, particularly in Rayalaseema region, Chandrababu Naidu explained how innocent persons have committed suicide and how some people were inhumanly done to death. Reiterating his commitment to provide 20 lakh jobs to the youth and notifying the Mega DSC, Chandrababu Naidu called upon the people to spurn Jagan to save the State from this autocratic rule and for better future of the youth.

Fan will be dumped in dustbin after these polls, says Naidu

0

How the Before Christ (BC) and After Christ (AC) has been formulated for the world, it is TDP era for the State, stated TDP president and former chief minister, Nara Chandrababu Naidu, on Friday.

Addressing a vast gathering at Kavali in Nellore district as part of the Praja Galam election campaign, Chandrababu Naidu expressed confidence that it is certain that the fan (the symbol of the YSRCP) will be dumped in the dustbin after the ongoing elections. Chief Minister, Jagan Mohan Reddy, is a real feudalist who made the Backward Classes (BCs) to lose sovereignty in the State, Chandrababu Naidu remarked.

One can easily imagine the attitude of Jagan who killed his own paternal uncle was taken in a procession while illegal cases are being foisted against his sister who is asking for justice, Chandrababu Naidu remarked. Observing that Jagan did not fulfill even a single promise made to the people of the State, the former chief minister asked the people whether a single District Selection Committee (DSC) notification is issued in the past five years while 12 DSCs were conducted during the TDP regime.

Promising special schemes for the Yanadi community, the TDP supremo also assured the fishermen to introduce more developmental schemes for them than those implemented during the last TDP regime. He also assured the fishermen community to revoke the GO 217 which has become a bane for them.

Elited at the massive gathering for his Friday meeting at Kavali, Chandrababu Naidu felt that Jagan will spend sleepless nights on watching these meetings. The people are ready to trounce the YSRCP, he said that the NDA is unstoppable. “I am assuring the youth that I will provide 20 lakh jobs in the coming five years and invite investors to launch their companies in the State to provide more job opportunities,” he said.

Stating that March 29 is a special day in the history of the TDP as on this very day the late NT Rama Rao founded the party, he said this is the day when the BCs and the downtrodden sections of society got recognition. “Generally we follow Before Christ and After Christ but for the State it is the TDP era now on,” he added.

Chandrababu Naidu expressed serious concern over the skyrocketing prices of essentials, petrol, diesel and other commodities due to which the cost of living of common man has gone up steeply. Now the youth’s slogan is if they should get jobs Babu should be back in power, he stated. The employees are not getting their monthly salaries ontime, he said and promised to initiate steps by the coming NDA government in the State to regularise everything that has gone off the track now.

Jagan has no respect for the State, legislation or even the law and has no faith in the public, Chandrababu Naidu said and added that the sole aim of Jagan is mintingh money and building palaces. He also knows how to resort to a misinformation campaign with the help of the Paytm batch to blame the Opposition parties, the TDP supremo observed.

Recalling how several persons resorted to suicide unable to bear the harassment by the official circles in various parts of the State, Chandrababu Naidu asked how Babai (the paternal uncle of Jagan) was killed, Is it a natural death or was he hacked to death, Chandrababu Naidu asked.

All these happenings clearly reflect the fact that the people have no security in the State under the YSRCP rule, he said and pointed out that Jagan has discontinued even the Anna Canteens where food was being provided for the poor at an affordable price. Even the TIDCO houses were not distributed to the poor but Jagan has built a palace with Rs 500 cr at Rishikonda in Visakhapatnam, he said.

“If you vote for the NDA you will get water for irrigation, companies will be invited to the State to launch their units to provide employment, roads will be built and women will have protection. Also, the power charges will be regularised and all the pending issues in Kavali will be resolved on a warfooting basis,” Chandrababu Naidu told the meeting.

Naidu promises to develop Rayalaseema better than Konaseema

0

Terming Chief Minister, Jagan Mohan Reddy, as a traitor of Rayalaseema, TDP president and former chief minister, Nara Chandrababu Naidu, on Friday promised to develop Rayalaseema much better than Konaseema.

Chandrababu Naidu told an immense gathering at Banaganapalle of Nandyal district as part of the Praja Galam election campaign that soon after the NDA government is formed within 45 days he will take all measures to develop this region in all sectors. The former chief minister told the people that Jagan has damaged every village and town.

The TDP supremo clarified that the party’s alliance with the Jana Sena and the BJP keeping in view only the future of the State but not out of any personal interests. “I will take the responsibility to ensure that injustice is not done to any minority community as is being campaigned,” he told the gathering.

The TDP’s main goal is creating assets and distributing them to the people, particularly the poor, Chandrababu Naidu assured the people of Rayalaseema that the coming NDA government will initiate steps to supply the Godavari waters for this region. Regretting that Jagan has totally damaged the State by playing the game of three capitals, he felt that this is the basic reason as to why people have lost faith in him and thus no one is attending his meetings. “While our meetings are glittering, the meetings being addressed by Jagan are fading,” Chandrababu Naidu remarked.

“After murdering his own paternal uncle, Vivekananda Reddy, now conspiracies are being hatched to send his own sister to jail,” Chandrababu Naidu said, directly attacking Jagan. While the TDP’s is a vision, Jagan’s is a poison, he stated.

Recalling that March 29 is a historic day as the TDP was founded on the very same day by late NT Rama Rao for upholding the self-respect of the Telugu people, Chandrababu Naidu expressed confidence that the people will certainly stand by the party in these elections. “The Jana Sena activists too gathered here in a large number while the Madiga Reservation Porata Samithi (MRPS) , which has been fighting for social justice, too joined us making the victory in the polls easy,” the former chief minister said.

Fondly recalling how Rs 30 monthly pension was paid for the poor and the old, the TDP national president said that NTR found the party to provide food, shelter and clothes to the poor. Later, the TDP has formed the National Front and the United Front, he said now the party has become a partner of the NDA.

Observing that he has now come here in the name of Praja Galam to bring in awareness among all the sections on the need to send the YSR Congress home, Chandrababu Naidu said that he is also the son of this soil. Reiterating how Hyderabad has been developed, Chandrababu Naidu said that he will personally take the responsibility to do justice to all sections, including the Madigas and Muslim minorities.

Regretting that the State has now a whopping Rs 12 lakh cr debt burden, the former chief minister said that Jagan has destroyed all the sectors and filed false police cases against several innocent persons. “I will not remain silent and will pay back with interest,” he said.

Calling upon the people to see to it that the anti-incumbency vote does not get divided, Chandrababu Naidu expressed confidence that the NDA is going to form the government both at the Centre and in the State. Listing out the welfare schemes that are going to be launched by the coming NDA government in the State, Chandrababu Naidu made an appeal to the public to join hands above any caste and religious considerations to send home this ‘psycho’.

Singanamala is revolting to rewrite history, says Naidu

0

After May 13th it is certain that the State will witness wiping out of the YSRCP as the Singanamala is revolting to rewrite the history of the State, observed former chief minister and TDP supremo, Nara Chandrababu Naidu, on Thursday.

The enormous turn out to this Praja Galam clearly reflects the fact about the electorate tsunami on May 13, Chandrababu Naidu told the immense gathering at Bukkaraya Samudram of Anantapur district for his public meeting. “The setting up of Kia in Anantapur district is our brand while the Jockey company running away from here is the brand of this Chief Minister, Jagan Mohan Reddy,” he remarked.

This person who has come to power gaining the Dalit votes ultimately suppressed the community completely, Chandrababu Naidu said and stated that Jagan uttered umpteen lies on the murder of his paternal uncle, YS Vivekananda Reddy. Jagan has vowed to totally destroy the State, he stated.

Observing that the lands in Anantapur are so fertile that if water is supplied properly the farmers here can cultivate all kinds of crops, Chandrababu Naidu said that the countdown has begun for this psycho Chief Minister. Calling upon the youth to come forward for their future, the TDP supremo expressed total confidence that the NDA is winning these elections both at the Centre and in the State for establishing people’s government.

“Our culture is to respect women with the Maha Sakthi scheme while Jagan is questioning the very birth of his own sisters,” Chandrababu Naidu noted. Anyway, the huge crowd clearly indicates that the yellow flag is going to fly in Singanamala, he said and told the public that these elections are very crucial as they are going to decide the future of both the State and the youth. Before exercising the franchise one should recollect the great injustice done to them and to others in the past five years, he said.

Maintaining that only 46 days are left for the NDA to form the government after punishing this Narakasura, Chandrababu Naidu asked how much Jagan is distributing through pressing of the button and how much he is taking back. Making an appeal to everyone to discuss how much was looted by this Government in the past five years, he said Jagan is giving only Rs 10 from one hand and taking back Rs 100 from the other.

The monthly power bill which was generally Rs 200 during the TDP regime which has gone to a whopping Rs 1,000 per month now, he said and made an appeal to the people to think how the prices of petrol and diesel have gone up. Innocent people are losing their lives due to spurious liquor and only Jagan is minting money through this spurious liquor sale, he said.

Pointing out that no attempt was made in these five years to fill the vacancies in the government department, Chandrababu Naidu said and asked whether a single District Selection Committee (DSC) notification has been issued till now. “As soon as we are back in power industrialists will be invited to set up their units in the State and the youth will get employment opportunities. My first signature as the chief minister is on the Mega DSC,” he declared.

Regretting that ganja and other drugs are freely available in all parts of the State which is totally ruining the future of the youth, the TDP supremo called upon the people to join together on the polling day to become partners in establishing the people’s government. The TDP is always indebted to Backward Classes (BCs) and the party will take all measures to encourage them, he said.

Jagan uttered blatant lies at Pulivendula on Wednesday, Chandrababu Naidu remarked and said that after hacking his paternal uncle, YS Vivekananda Reddy, he is now playing big dramas. “On March 15, 2019 they initially said that Viveka had suffered a heart stroke but later changed the tone and termed it as blood vomitings. Again they said that he was hacked to death and finally they released a photo with an axe in my hand. Within a few hours, they again changed the statement saying that a dispute in Bengaluru is responsible for the murder, he told the gathering.

Informing the people that Jagan did not have faith then in the police and demanded a CBI probe into the murder, the former chief minister said that he even moved the High Court to get a gag order. What is surprising is that immediately after coming to power he refused for the CBI inquiry into the killing and even withdrew the petition from the court, Chandrababu Naidu said. However, Sunitha, the daughter of Viveka, did not give up and has been continuing her fight to get the culprits arrested, he added.

Shockingly, these people have given various reasons for the murder including two marriages, property dispute with his son-in-law and finally they blamed his own daughter for the murder, Chandrababu Naidu pointed out. A few days later, they said that Sunial Yadav killed Viveka as he sexually harassed his mother, the TDP national president said. Jagan said at a public meeting at Pulivendula on Wednesday that someone killed his uncle and passed the blame on him, Chandrababu Naidu said.

Since all the people get united to chase out a mad dog, the time has come for the people in the State to come together to get rid of Mr Jagan, he added. Not even a single development has been taken up in these five years, including laying of roads, Chandrababu Naidu said and stated that Jagan has been encouraging ganja and drug mafia only to amass wealth.

“Our vision should always help the State to progress and I always work with this goal. Be cautious for these 46 days and soon after forming the government I will take all possible measures for the development of the State, including Rayalaseema,” Chandrababu Naidu maintained.

Naidu promises Godavari waters for Rayalaseema

0

The coming National Democratic Alliance (NDA) government in the State will take measures to supply the Godavari waters for Rayalaseema, TDP president and former chief minister, Nara Chandrababu Naidu, promised the people of the region on Thursday.

Addressing a gigantic public gathering as part of his Praja Galam election campaign at Raptadu in Anantapur district Chandrababu Naidu assured the youth of the State to provide 20 lakh jobs in the coming five years and his first signature will be on the Meda District Selection Committee (DSC). To instill confidence among the Backward Classes (BCs) in the State the TDP supremo promised to bring in legislation for the safety and security of the community besides formulating a sub-plan for the BC and also pension for those BCs who crossed 50 years of age.

The farmers are the backbone of the State and thus the coming NDA government will make the farming community as monarchs by providing them with drip irrigation and subsidies, Chandrababu Naidu said. At the same time, the former chief minister told the people to shoulder the responsibility to save the State from this destructive rule. “Since only 46 days are left, you all should come forward to shoulder this responsibility to save the State from this anarchic regime,” Chandrababu Naidu said.

The TDP supremo is confident that the people are not ready to trust the cooked-up stories being narrated by Chief Minister, Jagan Mohan Reddy. While the Praja Galam meetings are superhit the ‘Siddham’ meetings being organised by Jagan are super flop shows, he remarked and asked whether such gathering will turn out if Jagan addresses the meeting at Raptadu in this hot summer.

Since these elections are very crucial for the future of the State, all the three parties, the TDP, the Jana Sena and the BJP, have jointly entered the fray, Chandrababu Naidu said and informed the people of the State that the three parties joined hands keeping in view only the future of five crore people of the State. Fondly recalling the services of the late Paritala Ravindra as the TDP leader for the people of this region, Chandrababu Naidu made a fervent appeal to the people to extend their support to rebuild the State which was destroyed in these five years. “There is every need for all the people of the State to come forward to support the alliance for establishing the people’s government,” he added.

Reposing confidence among the people that they need not feel any insecurity now since the Model Code of Conduct is already in force, the former chief minister said that the psycho, Jagan, has encouraged a small psycho here who brought the situation to such a pass that those who have voted for the fan (the symbol of YSRCP) also should hang themselves to the fan. Jagan did not fulfill even a single promise made to the people of the State, including bringing down the power tariff, the TDP supremo regretted that the condition of the farmers is the less said the better.

“We will encourage the farmers to generate power in their own lands to meet their needs and if necessary, supply to others,” he said. Maintaining that the people’s weakness is the strength of Jagan, he said that this is the reason as to why he has been raising the prices of liquor quite frequently. What happened to the promise made by Jagan that he would impose total prohibition in the State, Chandrababu Naidu asked.

Expressing concern that the prices of petrol and diesel too are skyrocketing now, the former chief minister said that once the NDA government is formed jobs will be provided to the youth and industries will be invited to set up their units here to create more employment. “My promise to you all is that 20 lakh jobs will be provided in the next five years,” he added.

Chandrababu Naidu expressed confidence that the NDA is going to form the governments both at the Centre and in the State. The NDA will win 410 Lok Sabha seats across the country and in the State 160 plus Assembly seats, he added.

It is the TDP that has categorized the Madigas as A, B, C and D, Chandrababu Naidu said and promised to take up their district-wise categorization too. “Support our alliance and I will work for the welfare of all sections. People should emerge victorious in these elections and the State should move forward. I will take the responsibility to give proper recognition to you all once our government is in place,” the TDP supremo told the huge gathering at Raptadu.

Jagan is Seema traitor who destroyed irrigation sector, says Naidu

0

Terming Chief Minister, Jagan Mohan Reddy, as the traitor of Rayalaseema who completely destroyed the irrigation sector, TDP president and former chief minister, Nara Chandrababu Naidu, on Wednesday said that though irrigation water is not supplied even a single acre in the past five years, Jagan encouraged free flow of spurious liquor, ganja and other drugs in every village in the State including Rayalaseema.

“My vision is to create assets and increase the revenue of everyone in the State while Jagan always works to loot the people only to fill his own pockets,” observed Chandrababu Naidu at the Praja Galam public meeting at Palamaner in Chittoor district. Assuring the people to initiate measures to increase the revenue of every person in the State by implementing the Super Six, the former chief minister expressed concern that Jagan is spoiling the future of the youth by supplying spurious liquor, ganja and other drugs only to mint money.

Chandrababu Naidu alerted the people to get ready as the time has come to put an end to this wicked and cruel force. “Everyone is ready to defeat the YSRCP, including the farmers who are not getting even the subsidies and Minimum Support Price for any farm product,” he added. Asking the people whether the drip-irrigation has come, or the projects are completed, Chandrababu Naidu said that as the chief minister of the State he has taken measures to complete 90 per cent of the Handri-Neeva works.

The employees are not getting their salaries on time while the pensioners too are not getting their pensions every month, he said and stated that no loans for BC, SCs and STs through their respective welfare corporations. Asking the people to think what is that they have lost, Chandrababu Naidu said that this psycho has destroyed all the sections.

Informing the people how the TDP regime has taken steps to develop the State, including irrigation projects nearing completion, Chandrababu Naidu called upon the people to welcome this masked hero with empty roads as he is out to move among the people now. “If you welcome Jagan or extend support you are doing great injustice to your own family as Jagan has no right to move on Rayalaseema roads since he cheated the people of the region,” the TDP supremo remarked.

Promising to supply water to every acre after the NDA forms the coming government, Chandrababu Naidu said that steps will be taken to supply even the Godavari waters to this region. The YSRCP leaders are resorting to misinformation campaigns on social media too, he told the Rayalaseema people to question Jagan on what he has done for them.

Expressing satisfaction that the Praja Galam that he launched at Palamaner on Wednesday as his election campaign is a big hit, he said that the massive gathering clearly reflects the kind of affection that they have for him as even in scorching Sun so many people have turned out. “The YSRCP should be thrown into the Bay of Bengal,” he said.

Assuring the people that he will utilise all his resources to create assets and provide huge employment opportunities to the youth, Chandrababu Naidu said that Rs 15,000 will be paid for every woman between the age group of 18 to 59 on the first of every month and education facilities will be created sufficiently while three free gas cylinders will be supplied to every house per year under Deepam scheme.

Chandrababu Naidu reiterated that free bus facility will be provided for women in the State and Rs 20,000 each will be paid for farmers under Annadata scheme besides extending subsidies. “It is my duty to provide 20 lakh job opportunities to the youth in the coming five years and till they get employment Rs 3,000 each will be paid per month on the first of every month as unemployment allowance,” the former chief minister said.

The TDP supremo also assured of providing various facilities to different sections of society and said that the power charges too will be regularised immediately after the NDA forms the government besides eliminating drugs from the State within 100 days of coming to power. Jagan has borrowed Rs 12 lakh cr and there is no revenue from any sector, Chandrababu Naidu regretted and made an appeal to the people to reject the amount that the YSRCP leaders are going to offer for every voter.

Naidu promises Handri water for Kuppam in one year

0

TDP supremo and former chief minister, Nara Chandrababu Naidu, on Tuesday promised to complete the Handri-Neeva project works and will supply water to Kuppam within one year of the NDA forming the government in the State.

Chandrababu Naidu visited the Handri-Neeva branch canal works at Rajupeta in Kuppam Assembly segment. Later, he told media persons that Chief Minister, Jagan Mohan Reddy, has simply pressed the button after supplying water through a tanker to the canal like a cinema setting. The canal dried up by the same evening and the gates were taken away by the officials the same day. Even the film directors were shocked to see these settings which were removed overnight, Chandrababu Naidu remarked in a sarcastic way.

“How this Chief Minister, who transported people by buses for his meetings and arrived here by helicopter after setting up two helipads here can defeat me. Are you not ashamed to cheat people who are disgusted at your cheap politics,” Chandrababu Naidu asked Jagan. The Chief Minister always feels insecure as the trees are cut if he travels by road even for a km, he added.

Jagan has resorted to all kinds of atrocities in the State and his photos appear on every document, Chandrababu Naidu said, adding that taking advantage of this the officials are manipulating the documents. Since Jagan is misusing the public money he should be punished in the people’s court, Chandrababu Naidu said and demanded that the mobile phones of the volunteers be seized as they are collecting the personal details of every citizen and passing these details to I-PAC.

Reminding how he has developed Kuppam, the former chief minister said that he has also taken measures for the development of Pulivendula. But Jagan has destroyed everything. Cautioning the locals that the YSRCP leaders are planning to illegally grab the lands of Lord Basaveswara at Gundisettypalle, Chandrababu Naidu said that YSRCP MP, Vijayasai Reddy, is the global figure for criminal world who always passes the buck on others for the crime that he commits.

“Till the people revolt themselves these leaders continue their atrocities. If anyone votes for the YSRCP he or she will be doing injustice to their own families. All the buttons pressed by Jagan and the GOs issued by him are all dummies only to damage the lives of the innocent people. But once the NDA is into power in these elections all these issues will be resolved,” Chandrababu Naidu maintained.

Will sign Mega DSC file within 60 days of coming to power, says Naidu

0

Assuring the youth of signing the file for Mega District Selection Committee (DSC) within 60 days of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) coming to power to fill all the vacant teacher posts in the State, TDP president and former chief minister, Nara Chandrababu Naidu, on Tuesday promised to provide 20 lakh jobs in the next five years.

“Till you get jobs you will be paid Rs 3,000 each per month as unemployment allowance,” Chandrababu Naidu told a meeting of the youth at Kuppam, the headquarters of his home constituency. Stating that if the present DSC is continued further, Chandrababu Naidu said that these mischievous persons will again manage everything and will appoint their own people without giving the opportunity for the eligible candidates. The Election Commission should look into this matter, he said.

Promising to transform Kuppam as a knowledge hub, Chandrababu Naidu said that all the courses will be introduced in Dravida University after a cleansing operation of the institute. The former chief minister cautioned the people of the State that if the YSRCP is back in power there will be no safety and security for the properties of anyone.

“The enthusiasm in all of you reminds me my old days as I have come into politics as a student leader. I really feel proud of you,” Mr Chandrababu told the meeting. Making it clear that he always reposes faith in the youth force, he said he always works for the future of the younger generations. Where the youth is strong success will be there, he felt.

“The Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi, Dr BR Ambedkar and the TDP founder, late NT Rama Rao, all of them were born in a middle-class families and I too come with the same background born in a middle-class farmers family. If the youth is given proper education they will rule the whole world,” he said.

Recalling that people had made fun of him when he announced that an electronic exchange will be set up, Chandrababu Naidu said that he had proved it and a new telecommunication system was introduced with deregulation. Expressing concern that there are no investments or employment opportunities in the State in the past five years, he said that the youth is migrating to other States or even countries. The time has come to send home this destroying face who damaged the lives of the youth, he stated.

Chief Minister, Jagan Mohan Reddy, is a master in cheating, he said and asked the youth whether any job calendar has been released in the last five years or any DSC has been conducted as promised. The only goal of Jagan to mint thousands of crores while encourage those robbers who follow him to earn hundreds of crores but the youth should get only Rs 5,000 per month, Chandrababu Naidu remarked.

Making an appeal to the youth to think about their future and the progress of the State, Chandrababu Naidu promised that he will stand by them. “I am assuring you all that I will take care of your future and you should topple the YSRCP in these elections and tell the people the facts,” he told the youth.

Pointing out how this Government has resorted to massive irregularities in the Group-1 exams of the APPSC, he said that the ruling dispensation has sold the posts causing deep displeasure among those eligible candidates. Recalling how he had toured the whole world to invite investments to the State, he said Kia car manufacturing unit is set upon in Ananthapur district while this Government has chased out the existing units like Jockey and Amar Rajaa Batteries.

“While I have provided job opportunities for the youth, Jagan is indulging in scam after scam. The YSRCP leaders have been looting the granite industry here. If this is the situation in Kuppam you can imagine the condition of the whole State,” Chandrababu Naidu said. If the technology goes into the hands of evil-designers the whole State will suffer and the Land Titling Act is aimed at this, he added.

If the YSRCP is back in power the owners of properties should forget about their own assets, Chandrababu Naidu said and made an appeal to the youth to bury the YSRCP. He promised to bring the State back on track and the coming NDA government will certainly do justice to Muslims too.

Recalling how the earlier TDP regimes had worked for the welfare of the Muslim community in the State, Chandrababu Naidu clarified that the TDP has entered into an alliance with the BJP and the Jana Sena keeping in view the future of the State. “If there is no cooperation from the Centre it is difficult to take the State on the progressive path,” he added.

Stating that Amaravathi has been completely damaged, the TDP supremo said that farmers suicides are rising while atrocities on women too are going up. “I am not working for winning more number of seats but only for the future of the State. I am promising you that I will certainly take the State forward though the flags of the three parties are different but the agenda is same,” Chandrababu Naidu observed.

Naidu promises Rs 4k old age pension

0

TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu on Monday promised that the TDP government would give Rs 4,000 as old age pension. He further said that the pension would be delivered at the doorstep of the beneficiary.

Addressing the people at Kuppam Chandrababu Naidu alleged that the YSR Congress leaders were looting the people in Kuppam. He said that a leader from Punganur had come and settled in Kuppam looting the properties of the people in the town. He said that he would make the Punganuru leader pay everything back to the people once the TDP-Jana Sena and BJP government is formed in the state after the elections.

Chandrababu Naidu said that chief minister Jagan Mohan Reddy is saying why not 175. “I am saying why not Pulivendula?”, he said. He wanted the people to defeat Jagan Mohan Reddy in Pulivendula and his YSR Congress in the state.

The TDP chief said that the YSR Congress had taken the state back 30 years. The TDP-led NDA government would put the state on the development track. He wanted the people to understand that the crime rate had increased under the YSR Congress rule. The sale of Ganja and drugs too had gone up.

Chandrababu Naidu said that he would control crime rate in the state once the NDA government is formed. He said he would not leave any anti-social element in the state. He warned the YSR Congress leaders of severe action once the TDP formed the government in the state.

The state is made the capital of drugs and crime, he said. He said that the systems in the state were exploited, and every system failed under Jagan Mohan Reddy’s rule. He cautioned the anti-social elements against interfering with the election process.

Chandrababu Naidu said that the TDP leaders are being arrested and jailed. However, the TDP leaders across the state were giving a tough fight to the YSR Congress. Those who were arrested are also carrying the flags over their shoulders once out of jail, he said.

Women empowerment is possible only with TDP, says Naidu

0

Observing that women empowerment is possible only with the TDP, party president and former chief minister, Nara Chandrababu Naidu, on Monday said that all the welfare schemes that were implemented during the TDP regime have been withdrawn after Jagan Mohan Reddy, has become the Chief Minister.

To mint money Jagan has resorted to supply spurious liquor which resulted in women turning into widows, Chandrababu Naidu regretted while addressing a seminar of women at his home constituency, Kuppam, on Monday. Expressing serious concern that the State has now become a hub for ganja and other drugs, the TDP supremo said that the State Government is giving just Rs 100 each per the beneficiaries of various schemes but looting Rs 1,000 from them through heavy prices of essentials, petrol, diesel and other commodities, including power tariff hike.

“I get some new energy whenever I visit Kuppam and these elections should be one-sided and the TDP should emerge victorious with massive majority. Chief Minister post is nothing new to me what is important for me is people and the State. I am worried that when the whole world is marching ahead Andhra Pradesh is moving in reverse direction,” Chandrababu Naidu said with a tone of serious concern.

Recalling that people had made a fun of him when he advised that every house in Kuppam should have at least two cows, the former chief minister said that now Kuppam has created a record in milk production. Assuring the women that he will always solidly stand by them and will see to it that their revenue too will grow, Chandrababu Naidu said he had come here now to take their blessings.

Chandrababu Naidu felt that those who are voting for the YSRCP they are simply betraying society and opined that the people are ready to defeat Jagan who has been claiming that he is Sidhham (ready). Recalling that it was the TDP founder, the late NT Rama Rao, who had taken steps for creating a share in ancestral property for women, the TDP supremo stated that it is his party that created reservations for women in local bodies. “Women could become sarpanches, MPTCs, ZPTCs and MLAs that is because of the eight per cent reservations created by the TDP,” he said.

Novel welfare schemes were introduced by the TDP for women, he said, adding that that for the first time when he visited Kuppam there were no Dwcra groups and now there are 60,000 Dwcra members here. To uphold the self-respect of women toilets were built only by the TDP, Chandrababu Naidu said and reiterated the TDP commitment for the progress of women. Recalling various welfare schemes launched by the TDP for women like monthly pension and Pasupu Kumkuma besides Baby Kits, the former chief minister asked them whether these schemes are being implemented now.

The local YSRCP leaders are simply looting the natural resources like sand, land and even stones, Chandrababu Naidu wared them of serious consequences once the NDA is into power in the coming elections. Chandrababu Naidu believed that all the women in the State are the supporters of the TDP and made an appeal to the women to tell their husbands that the future of their kids will flourish only if they vote for the TDP.

Recalling with concern how he and his wife, Bhuvaneswari who has no connection whatsoever with politics were abused on the floor of the Assembly, Chandrababu Naidu told the women who gathered for the seminar to work hard for the coming 40 days for the better future of the State and vote for the TDP. “I am promising you all that I will create a poverty-free society by creating assets,” he said.

Maintaining that he has been indebted to them since they have been honouring him for the past 45 years, Chandrababu Naidu said that he, as their brother, making an appeal to them to make getting maximum majority as their target in these elections. “We should get at least 75 per cent of the votes and do not get carried away by the false promises being made by the YSRCP,” Chandrababu Naidu appealed to the women.

Stating that he will never forget the sacrifices made by the people of Kuppam, Chandrababu Naidu made a fervent appeal to them that Kuppam should be the Assembly segment that should create a record of sorts with maximum majority in the State in these elections.

Tie-up of 3 parties only for benefit of State, says Naidu

TDP supremo, Nara Chandrababu Naidu, on Saturday made it clear that the TDP, the Jana Sena and the BJP have entered into an alliance keeping in view only the benefit of the State but not for any political or personal benefit.

Chairing the workshop of the leaders of all the three alliance partners at the A1 Convention in Vijayawada, Chandrababu Naidu made an appeal to all the leaders to move together collectively without any egos as there is every need for the three parties to be cautious in these elections. Expressing concern that misuse of power has reached its peak during the YSRCP rule, Chandrababu Naidu said desired results are possible only if care is taken in the selection of candidates.

The BJP which is the alliance partner is in power at the Centre while Jana Sena chief, Pawan Kalyan has come forward for a tie-up as he feels that if the YSRCP is back in power the State will suffer heavily and he also does not want the anti-incumbency vote to get divided, he said. Stating that Pawan Kalyan is a leader with certain policies, Chandrababu Naidu said that all the Jana Sena activists are working with dedication under his leadership.

Maintaining that the TDP has its own credibility, Chandrababu Naidu said that he has been playing a crucial role in the selection of candidates since beginning. Admitting that all those aspirants could not be fielded in these elections as the TDP has entered into an alliance with the two parties, Chandrababu Naidu said “When we want the State to be victorious we have to make certain sacrifices. We could not field some senior leaders who have been aspiring to contest the polls like Gandi Babbji who wanted to be in the race from Vizag (South), Devineni Umamaheswara Rao from Mylavaram, Sridhar from Pedakurapadu and several others due to the tie-up with the two parties,” he said.

The Jana Sena leaders are also facing a similar situation, he said and stated that they have to make certain sacrifices in the interest of the State though they have been working hard for the progress of the party. “I will never forget all those who have sacrificed their seats,” Chandrababu Naidu told the leaders.

Observing that the selection of candidates this time is done by all the three parties, he said that they had to spend sleepless nights for their selection. “The common goal of all the three parties is that all the candidates should win the polls. We should fight on behalf of the people successfully and get the votes and the Lok Satta too extended its support for us,” Chandrababu Naidu said.

Maintaining that political re-engineering is now becoming a necessity, he felt that if weak candidates who do not have public support are in the race it will have its impact on other segments. “This is the reason the candidates have been selected after social re-engineering to get them elected,” he added.

Though the Telugu community has been in a commanding position in the world, the prevailing situation in the State is different now, the TDP supremo said and stated that the selection of candidates was done by repeatedly gathering the opinion of the party leaders with the help of technology and above all considerations. Chandrababu Naidu told the workshop that the foundation that is going to be laid now will help the State move on the developmental aspect for another 30 years.

The TDP has decided firmly to develop the State as to how the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) is taking the country forward, he said and promised to transform the State into a poverty-free Andhra Pradesh. There is a need for digital currency to control the parties like the YSRCP, he felt and predicted that in the coming 10 years there will be total digital currency in the country.

“I have never expected to see a Chief Minister like Jagan Mohan Reddy in my life as he is the only Chief Minister who converted politics into business. He has been surviving by uttering blatant lies everyday,” Chandrababu Naidu said. A fake news has been created that the BJP State unit president, Purandheswari, has resigned to her post and even another fake press note in his name was also created that there will be no alliance with the BJP after the Polavaram and Amaravathi are completed, he mentioned.

“No doubt, Purandheswari is my family member but she has been in a different party altogether for almost 30 years and it is quite common that same family members can be in different parties,” Chandrababu Naidu noted and asked as to why they are making a fuss on this. Even fake posts are being uploaded that injustice is being done to some leaders due to alliance, particularly with the Jana Sena, he stated.

Pointing out that 25,000 kg of drugs were seized in Visakhapatnam recently, he said that when the TDP was fighting against drug abuse the party offices were attacked. “I have undertaken a two-day fast against these attacks and the Director General of Police (DGP) did not bother to pay heed to the complaints lodged by us on these attacks and on the large-scale drug abuse,” Chandrababu Naidu regretted.

Asking as to why the Chief Minister did not hold even a review meeting in the past five years on ganja smuggling and the drug peddling, Chandrababu Naidu said that no case has been filed till now though it was clearly mentioned on the involvement of Kakinada MLA, Dwarampudi Chandrasekhar, role in the large amount of drugs seized at the Mundra Port, he said and asked whether Jagan has no responsibility to answer.

Pointing out that the YSRCP leader’s involvement was found again in the drugs seized at the Vizag Port recently, he regretted that the ruling party leaders, as is their habit, again passed the buck on the TDP. YSRCP MP, Vijayasai Reddy, through Twitter, has greeted the Brazilian President on his birthday, he said and asked what is the relation between Brazil and the YSRCP.

“How dare you resort to drug smuggling and again blame the TDP for that,” he asked and stated that the hawala money generated in the State is being shifted to other countries. Chandrababu Naidu said that there are even reports that the names of Veerabhadra Rao, the brother of YSRCP leader, Kunam Purnachandra Rao, are being mentioned in the Delhi liquor scam too.

Pointing out the large-scale irregularities in the evaluation of the Group-1 answer-sheets, Chandrababu Naidu said even a false affidavit was filed before the High Court with regard to this case that manual evaluation was done. The Group-1 posts were given for their own henchmen, he said and stated that justice is done for the candidates as the affected persons have fought legally.

Expressing confidence that the NDA is certainly coming back to power at the Centre by winning 400 above seats across the country, Chandrababu Naidu said “we are also coming to power in the State by winning 160 seats and we are emerging victorious in at least 24 Lok Sabha seats too.” Making an appeal to the party leaders to meet again at the same venue soon, he said that the election campaign will begin soon by the party.

Stating that there are leaders in all the three parties who could not get the chance to contest this time, Chandrababu Naidu promised them that they will be getting some important posts soon after the government is formed.

Pawan meets Naidu, talk about poll strategy

0

Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan on Thursday met TDP chief N Chandrababu Naidu in Hyderabad. The two leaders have reportedly discussed their strategy to be followed for the coming general elections in Andhra Pradesh.

The TDP had already declared its candidates for 128 Assembly seats out 144 seats that the party would be contesting. The party is also scheduled to release its candidates for 17 Parliament seats.

Chandrababu Naidu is working on finding the candidates for the remaining 16 Assembly seats. The TDP chief is also scheduled to give 10 seats to the BJP and 21 seats to the Jana Sena. The BJP and Jana Sena are waiting for Chandrababu Naidu to name the seats that would be given to them in alliance.

Chandrababu Naidu is said to be working hard on finalising the lists for both the BJP and Jana Sena. Jana Sena was initially given 24 seats, but the party had sacrificed three seats to accommodate BJP. The Jana Sena is currently contesting 21 seats, while the BJP will be contesting 10 Assembly seats.

Sources say that Chandrababu Naidu would finalise the seats in the next two days. He is also scheduled to start his election campaign from March 26 and go around the state.

Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan is also scheduled to start his electioneering from March 27. He is likely to use his Varahi vehicle for the tour. The two leaders would spend most of their time in the coming days in Andhra Pradesh, where the two parties are firm on wresting the power.

There is little disturbance for the Jana Sena in some seats. The party leaders, who are mostly aspiring for the tickets, are upset with the seat adjustment. In Vijayawada West Assembly seat, the Jana Sena leaders are making repeated requests to Pawan Kalyan to take the seat. The seat is said to have been given to the BJP in alliance.

However, the Jana Sena leaders want the seat to be given to them. Party leader Pothina Venkata Mahesh is a strong contender here and has been working in the segment for the past five years. It is to be seen what decision Pawan Kalyan would take on the segments like these in the next couple of days.

Jagan banking on irregularities in polls as he lost people’s trust, says Naidu

Since Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy, has no faith in his own five-year rule, he has thus chosen irregularities as the last weapon in these elections, observed TDP supremo and former chief minister, Nara Chandrababu Naidu, on Wednesday.

Jagan has completely lost people’s trust and support. He is totally banking on total manipulations in these elections, Chandrababu Naidu said. The TDP supremo made an appeal to the people to come forward to defeat the YSRCP which has totally destroyed the State.

“Every person should come forward to implement the electoral norms effectively and should take it as a responsibility,” he said. Everyone should down the C-Vigil app through which anyone can complain to the poll panel on money distribution to the voters, government employees violating the guidelines and the parties resorting to misinformation campaigns, Chandrababu Naidu said. Through the C-Vigil app anyone can easily take such issues to the notice of the Election Commission through which everyone can help conduct the elections in a transparent way, he added.

If a citizen makes a complaint through C-Vigil the poll panel should act immediately, the TDP supremo said and made an appeal to every individual in the State to immediately download the app and utilise the technology in implementing the norms. Maintaining that the TDP, the Jana Sena and the BJP have already started fighting against the atrocities of the YSRCP, he said that he wants the people too to become partners in this exercise. Chandrababu Naidu felt that irregularities in elections can be checked more efficiently if people too take part in it.

Since the youth are the worst sufferers of Jagan Mohan Reddy’s reverse rule they should now elect efficient leadership for their future, Chandrababu Naidu said and made an appeal to the young voters to enrol themselves since there is still an opportunity for them even after the poll schedule is announced.

The enrolment facility is available till April 15, and thus the youth should utilise the opportunity, particularly enrol themselves through online since every vote is crucial to end this evil rule, Chandrababu Naidu observed.
