After being grounded by the domestic airlines, TDP MP J C Diwakar Reddy boarded a flight to Europe, for a week-long vacation in France. It is much needed break for MP because he has been in the news at least on the local news channels for all the wrong reasons since March.
The Anantapur MP is the owner of the travel company. In February, the police registered a case against the Diwakar Travels management in connection with the accident in which at least 11 expired at Penuganchiprolu Mandal near Vijayawada. The brothers Diwakar and Prabhakar created ruckus in front of media office and used obnoxious and vulgar words against Opposition Leader Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy
On the day of incident where JC created ruckus in the airport, his son-in-law MLC Deepak Reddy was suspended from the party. Deepak was detained by Hyderabad CSS police along with two others for encroaching land word 15000 crore rupees and hooliganism. People celebrated the detention of the MLC.
The fact that 11 persons were killed and around 30 people injured was not of national importance. The land grabbed by the Deepak, where 2 BHK houses for poor people were supposed to be built was not significant enough. But the aggressive behaviour of the MP at the airport has become a national debate. A total of seven airline companies have now barred the repeat offender after his violent behaviour. This incident is just a tip of the iceberg. Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu has to understand the fact that wrong things are bound to happen when one trusts the wrong people.
