The Opposition YSR Congress Party it continuing to draw public attention to the ‘Kodi Kathi case’. As Opposition leader Jaganmohan Reddy held AP CM Chandrababu Naidu responsible for attempt to murder case, TDP leaders and Ministers are making counter allegations in a row.
Water Resources Minister Devineni Umamaheswara Rao has questioned the appropriateness of Jagan asking for a CBI probe into a petty case and that too 23 days after the incident took place. Uma asked YCP leaders whether it was not true that their MPs were in a way mocked in Delhi when they met top leaders asking for an investigation by an independent institution into what seemed a petty case.
Uma went on to blame Jagan, saying that the Opposition leader was still day-dreaming as if he had become CM and this kind of dreams should be immediately stopped. People were also making fun of YCP leaders after Jagan referred to CBN and DGP as accused no 1 and 2 in the Kodi Kathi case respectively.
It is a fact that YCP MLAs, MPs and other leaders had met President Ramnath Kovind, Home Minister Rajnath Singh, Governor ESL Narasimhan and other top leaders levelling allegations of conspiracy against TDP in Jagan attempt to murder case. There were allegations that CBN had not tried to call Jagan and make enquiries about what happened since the incident. From the beginning, there was a big gap between TDP and YCP as the ruling party took a firm stand that Kodi Kathi was a petty incident caused by Jagan’s own fan.
