Padmashri Kamal Haasan took a break from films and is busy with his political activities. The actor turned politician has been signing films and his recent outing Vishwaroopam 2 ended up as a disappointment. Kamal will join the sets of Indian 2 early next year directed by Shankar. This big budget film will be produced by Lyca Productions and will release during the end of next year.
It may be a surprise, but the latest update says that Kamal Haasan will play the lead role in the sequel of his past super hit film Kshatriya Putrudu which released in 1992. The pre-production work of the film is on and Kamal is expected to take the final call soon. If things fall in place, the regular shoot will commence during the end of next year once Kamal wraps up Indian 2.
