Lawrence’s recent outing Kanchana 3 turned out to be a stiff contender which released on the same day.
Kanchana 3 turned out to be a surprising hit despite of getting poor reviews. The film is doing exceptional business across B and C centres. This turned out to be a huge dent for Jersey. A distributor who wished not be named said that Kanchana 3 took off near to 30% of Jersey’s weekend reviews across the B and C centres. Jersey is super strong across multiplexes and A centres but Kanchana 3 dominated the scene across other regions.
Though the makers of Jersey did not expect this, Kanchana 3 turned out to be the first preference for mass audience over the weekend while Jersey was watched by family crowds.
