So many forces like KCR, Modi, strong Reddy political families, etc have thrown their weight behind YSR’s son. But the necessary positive voter mood is not being created.
Analysts say Jagan has made one self goal after another that landed the YCP in a totally impossible situation. Added to the list of his costly mistakes is the recent murder of Vivekananda Reddy. How badly Jagan handled this episode? It has now made the Kadapa faction politics one of the election issues. This is not good for Jagan as it is pushing the YCP in a serious disadvantage. At thought of YCP, murder politics comes to the mind of average voter.

- Jagan hired a Bihar based election adviser ignoring YCP local think-tank.
- He thought a state-wide Padayatra will bring power like in his father’s time.
