TDP ex-Minister Nara Lokesh took part in the NTR Jayanti celebrations in Mangalagiri town. He paid rich tributes and recalled how the party founder fought relentlessly against opponents. Lokesh gave warning to the rival party leaders on the issue of attacks on TDP activists in several places. He asserted that their party would stand by its activists in difficult times and it would not tolerate any attacks.
Lokesh lost the Mangalagiri seat in the election. He said that this is but natural in election and he would love look for victory where he had lost it. He had already announced that he would contest again in Mangalagiri in 2024 polls. Lokesh expressed confidence that his father Chandrababu Naidu is sure to come back to power in the next election. He called upon cadres to prepare for the local body elections.
