As Geetha Govindam turned out to be a huge blockbuster, director Parasuram aka Bujji is on cloud nine that time. On the recently concluded Independence Day eve, the film has completed its first anniversary too. What hurts is, still there is no next film of this director officially announced.
Moving out of Geetha Arts camp, actually, Parasuram narrated a story to Mahesh Babu which got immediate approval from the star hero. But as the director developed it into a full-pledged script, Mahesh is not liking it due to various reasons, a source revealed.
The original story deals with digital banking, economic frauds and how a vigilante hero takes of it. Developed on the lines of ‘Bharateeyudu’, Mahesh is heard asking Parasuram to tone down the seriousness and make it a commercial entertainer with romance and comedy.
To date, Parasuram has narrated almost five versions of the story with varying doses of emotion, comedy, action and other elements. An insider revealed that none of the versions are liked by Mahesh and the director is on the way writing a new one. Will this story (and project) ever take off is the real question now.
