KCR has been mulling over the idea of Federal Front without BJP and Congress since quite some time. He has been meeting with the leaders of the states regarding the same. Prime minister Modi, in an interview given to national media, made interesting comments when he was asked about KCR’s Federal Front.
Recently AP CM Chandra Babu Naidu commented on KCR’s Federal Front and told that PM Modi is using KCR to destabilize Andhra Pradesh. In the past also TDP leaders like Achennaidu called KCR’s front is just Plan-B of Modi. Later the same comments were reiterated by Tamil Nadu politicians. So, there have been speculations that Modi is actually behind KCR’s Federal Front with the aim of splitting anti-BJP vote and to ensure UPA not strengthened.
So reporters asked the same questions to PM and Modi told he is not even aware of KCR’s Federal Front. He also rubbished Chandra Babu’s comments and told that Telangana people outrightly rejected Chandra Babu Naidu’s party in their elections and so he is giving all these statements out of frustration. He added that BJP is strong in south India too as it got very good number of seats in Goa and Karnataka.
We will have to wait and see how CBN and KCR respond on these comments of Modi.
