Talented filmmaker N Shankar was quite active in Telangana movement and he even went on to direct Jaibolo Telangana with Jagapathi Babu in the lead role. He requested the Telangana government to allot land to set up a studio in the state and the government responded now on a positive note.
Telangana Government issued a GO allotting five acres of land for N Shankar in Shankarpally region. N Shankar has been asked to pay Rs 5 lakhs per acre and he is in plans to start the construction work soon.
