King Nagarjuna has done Bollywood films during the early days of his career. His first blockbuster Shiva has been dubbed in Hindi and the film ended up as a super hit. He was last seen in LOC Kargil which released in 2003. Now after 15 years, the actor is making his comeback to Bollywood with Brahmastra which features Amitabh Bachchan, Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt in the lead roles.
Ayan Mukerji is the director of this action thriller and Nag signed the film after he was extremely impressed with the assigned role. Nag will join the sets of the film from today in Mumbai. He was keen on doing a Hindi film from some time and he felt Brahmastra is the right one to make his comeback. The actor is even busy wrapping up the shoot of DevaDas, a multi-starrer that features Nani in the other lead role. The film has been slated for September release.
