The Chief Minister K.Chandrasekhar Rao formally launched Siddipet district, his home turf, in the presence of his nephew and Minister T.Harish Rao, and dubbed that formation of the district as “a grand administrative reform.” KCR’s ministerial colleagues took part in official programmes conducted for the same purpose across Telangana. This is one of the happiest days in my life. I am controlling my tears of joy,” KCR said reiterating that he would strive for the development of Telangana “still I am alive.”

KCR also said that the Minister Harish Rao would enjoy his blessings. As requested by Harish, KCR said that the district would get rail and godavari waters soon. Medical college will start functioning from next academic year.

“Since I was born here and this land must have privilege of it, I am announcing Rs.100 crore to take up developmental activities,” KCR said adding that he wants to bring administration to the doorsteps of people. Later, KCR launched Markook mandal in Siddipet district.
