The Hyderabad police announced that the Sree Peetham priest Paripoornanda Swami also expelled from the city for a period of 6 months. It is known news that earlier Kathi Mahesh was expelled from the city citing the reasons of creating unrest in society. Now the reasons cited by Police on expelling Paripoornanda surprised people as they did not mention anything related to recent controversy but they cited – because of some speech given by him in last November, Police received several complaints and because of those complaints, now Swamy is expelled from the city.
He was taken into custody by Police and they took him out of the city. Police did not specify where he was being moved to. There are some speculations that he was moved to his hometown of Kakinada. The decision was taken by police to prevent any sort of antisocial activities happening in the city.
It is known news that Kathi Mahesh father and some other Dalit leaders pointed out – Only Kathi Mahesh was expelled from city as he is Dalit. Probably to counter such allegations police took this decision to expel Swamy also from city. But the governments and police, instead of taking actions on those creating unrest, simply “transferring” them to neighbor state is criticized by netizens as they look at this as “escapist method” of dealing with the probe.
